Norah is a true gem. She knows a tremendous amount and more about all the technical aspects of the business. She is always available to discuss and show the homes that are of interest, has her pulse on this crazy market – its mores, trends, and etiquette, can discuss issues ranging from home improvement to legal things, and has an extensive rolodex of great referrals.
She also has really good taste, infallibly good judgment and really knows her clients (us) well. I’m a therapist by training, and in retrospect I can tell that she was as much our real estate agent as our therapist, balancing skillfully between our separate wishes as individuals, andarriving at the right advice for us as a couple – without, of course, ever appearing to do so.
Just as with the friend who recommended her to us, she guided us through a difficult market (we bought in April 2015, looked for 7 – 8 months) – frequently steering our compass away from homes that didn’t serve our needs (but out of desperation we may have turned towards), and straight towards a home that really fills our deepest wishes. She also led us through a buying process that required attention, a lot of patience (on her part), a great deal of experience, knowledge and diplomacy; she ultimately gave us a buying experience, which felt satisfying, despite the market that leaves many just happy to be done with the process. We are so grateful for Norah (are really really happy with our home!) and would recommend her to anybody.

I was impressed with Norah when I interviewed her a few years ago, and more impressed when she patiently worked with us to do inspections, get quotes, and go through the back and forth negotiations. Her knowledge of the market, her hard work to understand what we were interested in, and her network of contractors is up there with the very best.
Where Norah really stands out is her commitment to «lifelong» service. Years after we signed all the papers, whenever I need a referral for any type of work, she’s back with a vetted recommendation within minutes.
