I didn’t think I could hate a Subway more than the one by my apartment but I was so, so, so wrong! I came in today(a Sunday afternoon) since it’s close to campus and I have the Subway text-coupon-thing that gives me one discount a week and I wanted to use it. This week’s was any 6-inch sub for $ 3. Not bad. I settled on a chicken bacon ranch. This girl took ONESLICEOFBACON and folded it in half. I know Subway is stingy but I’ve always gotten two slices on any sandwich with bacon. Then, as this sandwich typically calls for the shredded cheddar cheese, I got that and saw the saddest, most pathetic handful ever. I started asking for more but then realized I didn’t care enough. I had to ask for more lettuce and more cheese and while this girl gave me the correct 4 slices of tomato, the guy making sandwiches who assembled the gentleman in line before me’s sandwich gave him only 6 on a footlong. This place needs consistency lessons. The one saving grace was neither of the two people ringing me up(yes there were two) could figure out my coupon(it wasn’t complicated) and they ended up only charging me for my soda, even after I insisted I was getting a $ 3 sub. That made me feel much less annoyed about the portions, not having to actually pay for this lame sandwich. The prices here are better than the one by my apartment but I’m so not going here again unless I have another great coupon, like the one a few weeks ago that was legitimately for a free sub with purchase of a soda.

The service was great. I came here a couple times and the ladies who helped me were patient both times. For a subway, it’s $ 6 foot-longs are relatively competitive with the NS Asian Ghetto and of course close to Soda/Etcheverry a plus.

Close to campus. Easy, fast, and convenient. But they weren’t very liberal in putting on the toppings. Rip. They also ran out of the Italian herb and cheese bread. Rip. :( Good for a quick bite and looking to fill that empty stomach.

This new Subway location opened up this summer, and it’s a Subway! Really pretty much the same experience you get at any other Subway location – I’ve gotten foot-longs here, tested out the soda machine, purchased chips, etc. One of the great things about this Subway(and I think all Subways) is that they accept Apple Pay, so you can pay with your phone. Service is fast and friendly.

They have been fixing their credit card machine for nearly a month now. I don’t think they’ll ever accept credit cards anymore.

I realize this is a newer Subway location but math is a well-established subject. A six-inch sandwich is not four inches, it’s six inches(half the length of a footlong). North Campus is full of engineers and it will quickly go out of business if people think they’re being ripped off.
