Worst property that I have stayed in. We arrived and the front desk attendant stayed on her phone for some time not even saying hold on one minute. I find it hard to believe that her personal cell phone has anything to do with operations at 9:30 at night. She finally put her phone down and started processing our reservation. The whole time she had almost no customer service abilities, not once asked how we were doing, never mentioned their poor continental breakfast, and after checking in, did not say goodbye or have a good night. We arrived to our room to find the door unlatched and could just pus the door open. Immediately my wife and I were hit with the intense smell of urine. The chairs and table were stacked up on one of the beds. We turned around and went right back to the office to let the attendant know about room 120. Again at the front desk the woman seemed annoyed at me when I told her I wanted a new room. When I told her why, she gave me a look of disbelief but did go into the computer to check. She did find a new room and like earlier, while looking down stuck her hand out and said keys. She reprogrammed them and told me room 124 without once making eye contact of saying anything else. To our surprise the room smelled good and looked in pretty decent condition, dated, but decent. Things changed pretty quickly. I walked over to the heater/AC unit and lifter the door to the controls and it fell on the floor. My wife grabbed a tissue and the cover to the tissue box fell off and tissue box too. We went to use the lights over the bed and could never get them working. Half the room was broken. When I went to the bathroom to use the shower, my hopes of a pleasant stay went out the window. I went to lift the toilet seat and the lid fell off into my hand. After that when I turned on the water and pulled the lever to turn the shower on, it squirted all over the place from the tub faucet and could not get good pressure coming from the shower head. I tried multiple times and realized that it was broken. I littler annoyance was that I forgot conditioner and the hotel apparently only has shampoo. At least they had shampoo. We wanted to find another room at this point, we called over to the Days Inn and found they were fully booked for the weekend. Motel 6 had worse reviews than this place so we didn’t call them. All of the other hotels in the area were fully booked or outrageously priced. We decided to make the best of our stay. This motel really needs to step up as I would never recommend it and will never stay here again. Besides our issues above, we were not happy with some other aspects of this motel. The sheets in our bed had stains but were clean. Their so called continental breakfast was far from that. No hot food but pancakes. When it came to fruit, apples, apples, or apples. The AC would cool to the point we were too cold and then would shut off and it would be way too warm before it turned back on. Take caution if you have to stay at this location. It is a horrible place.

Completely serviceable. J & I stayed here for a few nights before wedding festivities. The rooms were clean, but had a strong cigarette smell right when you entered(you got used to it quickly). We had some issues with getting the key cards to work, but it was easily fixed by the front desk. Staff members were polite and friendly(as with all other places we visited while in NM). I thought the room rate was reasonably priced for the area(we paid less than $ 50/night). OVERALL: I’d stay here again if I ever found myself in Bernalillo.

This hotel is such a joke. My family has stayed here in the past during the State Basketball Tournament, mostly because it’s close to the gym, AND it allows pets(for an extra $ 10). I first made reservations through Tavelocity for two nights, later decided I needed to add an extra night. So I called the hotel and made a seperate reservation. Check in was easy enough, however they placed us in a room within feet of the front desk/lobby area(also where they serve breakfast). This room was also directly under the stairs(NO elevators, what?). Oh. My. God. It was like we were back in our old apartment where we were kept up at night because of the upstairs neighbors. You could also hear people checking in at the front desk all night(and morning). Next day, we go on our way to the games, leave our dog in his cage in our room. Upon returning, our key doesn’t work. ugh. As we are getting help from the barely-speaking-English attendant, she has the audacity to tell us that«our dog was barking all day». WELLMAYBEIFYOUHADN’T PUTUSSOCLOSETOHIGHTRAFFICAREASYOUMORON. Of course he’s gonna bark when all he hears are people talking outside the room and people stomping on stairs above him! Jeez. So, my husband and I lay down for a nap. A couple hours later, we are awakened by some COMINGINTOOURROOM. If it wasn’t for the latch above the door handle, they would have walked in us. Turns out it was another guest at the hotel, their keys somehow opened our door. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Even if we have to drive 50 miles for the games.
