I love this five guys! It’s «mall» but not mall. Parking is the best with this Five Guys because of its location across from Home Depot. The service is fast, and I’ve never seen seating be an issue here. I always get a bacon cheeseburger with everything on it, and it continues to be the juiciest, quickest, best home style burger in the Potomac area

This is one of the best burger places I know of. This place puts BGR to shame!!! The massive patties they cook are delicious and juicy. They double stack them and put AMAZINGLY hot gooy cheese just smothered over and in-between each Massive a** patty. If u were thinking about this place ponder no further and just go here!

I’ve been to quite a few Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Tonight, I had an excellent experience with a gentleman named Alex. I usually don’t frequent burger establishments like this because of health reasons. But Alex made me decide to become a regular at this place. I will definitely be back because one, the food is great and two, I had an amazing customer service experience he should definitely be promoted.

I love Five Guys. The food here is always good. The service has always been great, but this location seems to have the best employees that I have ever met.

What I love about Five Guys is the cleanliness, happy and friendly staff, and of course, the best 5 dollar burger around! During my time spent there, I saw multiple staff members cleaning and keeping things orderly. And they were smiling. It’s such a drag to go to a restaurant and see the employees missable. However, these folks were nice and I could see that they treated each other that way as well. Now the food. They have one of those drink stations that has 100+ options which is cool. The grub is always hot and fresh. And the burgers(whichever one you get) are so juicy. And did I mention the toppings? Too many to list! Come in, grab some peanuts while you wait, and get ready for a solid meal.

You really can’t go wrong with any Five Guys and this place is just like ‘em all. Sitting in a strip mall off the mainstream, it’s easy to miss, but the long spread of glass windows along the corner store help mark the place. The food of course is great. The menu is somewhat limited but makes up for this by being tasty and filling. I had a bacon hot dog, which was on the small-side BUT the bacon was thick and the dog split down the middle making it seem bigger than it was. Chunks of onions on the dog also made it appear bigger. Better still were the Cajun Fries I got. My bag overfloweth ! They were thick and fillings. I was very happy. I also love how Five Guys offers peanuts. Worth an extra«Star» vote right there ! The soda machine offers square ice cubes(how often do you see that?) and a variety of drinks from a modern machine. This location is always clean too. A couple peeves: One is my order is sometimes wrong(this past visit I told them I’d «Dine In») and the bathroom needs to be locked when you use it lest someone look dead-on at you on the toilet when they come in. The cost of things also is higher-then-usual. But for what you’re getting it’s just about worth it.

I’ve referenced Five Guys a dozen times, but never gave them props with a review. Shame. There are about a dozen burger joints that have swooped in over McDonalds and Wendy’s on the burger hierarchy in the last decade, and Five Guys has emerged as the leader – they are everywhere. It’s funny to see because it’s originally a DC place with the first store in Arlington.(If only Little Tavern had been as lucky, DC natives would rule the world!) The Five Guys burger is great. Good bun, and great meat. Take a bite of just the burger and you see the difference from many others. It stands on its own. A good selection of toppings and peanuts while you wait. One thing that is new is the mini order of fries. That is a great option because the previous small size was way too big – that left me either throwing ½ away or force feeding myself. Lately, I had stopped ordering them all together. The thing about Five Guys is that they do what they do and nothing else. You know they will be doomed when they add salad or nuggets.

I normally wouldn’t bother writing a review for a place like Five Guys. Why bother? It’s like any fast food chain– people will go and generally have a similar experience and then keep going for the convenience and price. However, I have been to many Five Guy locations in the Mid-Atlantic region and I have to say that this particular Five Guys is really great. The food comes out hot and delicious and the staff is very friendly and nice every time I’ve dropped in. If you’re shopping in the nearby area(it’s located right behind Home Depot– super close to Montgomery Mall in Bethesda) you should definitely consider this place for your much-needed after shopping lunch or dinner.

Didn’t get the fries, but the«little cheeseburger,» their code for«one patty instead of two,» was delicious. Service was quick at lunch time, staff was friendly. The reason it’s not four stars: Parking was chaos. The place is tucked into a strange strip-mall behind a Home Depot, and it took forever to find a spot. I don’t normally whine about parking, but this was a genuine annoyance.(There are some«Five Guys only» spots to the left of the restaurant that are probably your best bet.)

I *love* Five Guys, but this is only an average location. It’s almost an intangible, but I feel like the burgers I’ve had here just aren’t up to snuff. The buns were a bit stale once, and another time my misshapen burger simply fell apart as I was eating it. Small infractions on their own, sure, but Five Guys is legendary in my book of burgers, and any location that doesn’t own that is a sad place indeed.

Called Customer service to complain about order. I was told that a manager or district supervisor would call me back. Over a week later and of course that hasn’t happened.

Good juicy burger when you’re in the mood for something messy and unhealthy. The fries are thicker and a bit sweet. I love the free peanuts they have(self-serve). Just regular peanuts you have to crack out of the shell for. Not a whole lot of anything else so just go if you want burgers and fries. More expensive than in and out but they’re both very different kinds of burgers. There’s also beer next door so you can always go grab some and get your burger to go for a relaxing night at home.

The people working here are great. The fries are good. The burgers are fine, not great. Fries are excellent, and the soda fountain has a great 50s feel with modern convenience. It’s one of the better choices in the area when in a hurry.

If you want a quick burger and fries, Five Guys is one of the best places for it. I’ve been to several and never have been disappointed. The only way you can be disappointed in Five Guys is if you want something other than burger and fries. Its just plain out worth the extra few bucks over fast food alternatives.

This is the best burger chain in the region, but it is a little too pricey for the fast-casual category. I could get a chipotle burrito, or even a meal at Moby Dick for less than what I pay for a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The ingredients taste fresh, and the bacon is surprisingly crispy and good. Then again, if you’re cheap like me you will probably be happier spending half that for something at BK or Wendy’s, and hoping that they open a Checkers somewhere in this area for much better fries and a better overall deal.

This visit was 1 year in the making. I have been in DC for a year and still haven’t been to a Five Guys mostly because every opportunity where Five Guys was an option, I was within someone with a peanut allergy. Boo that. So I made a pilgrimage after shopping at the Montgomery Mall to get a bite. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mushrooms, and onions. This was one of the messiest burgers I have ever eaten, and was put to sleep on teh bus trying todigest the greasy goodness. The regular order of fries was ridiculous and I couldn’t finish it. Definitely a great choice for a burger and annihilates other fast food joints. Free peanuts are fun too.

We all know what Five Guys serves, and if you don’t, the long and short is: Burgers. Fries. Not a whole lot else. This particular Five Guys is nestled in a strip mall area next to the post office, near Montgomery Mall. There’s not a whole lot special about it as compared to other Five Guys, except that the cashiers are particularly friendly. It’s pretty standard Five Guys overall, except that I noticed the fries are slightly less yum than at other locations — And no, I don’t know why. The service is quick around lunch, which I know I’m not the only person in appreciation of. The food is good enough, though this is two visits in a row where I’ve had severe stomach pains afterward. Nothing particularly special. Perhaps I’m just too picky about meat on a bun, but this doesn’t really wow me like friends told me it would the first time I had one.
