Just called to make a reservation. The woman didn’t want to talk to me because she had a check-in. Instead of asking me to hold, she was very rude and actually hang up the phone on me. I guess they don’t want my business.

Kind of worried when reading previous reviews… but staff was very nice. The room was clean and NO bedbugs. Nice breakfast

This is a property to keep your eye on as new management works to improve the experience. I booked this on a pretty low price through and knew it would be an economical style hotel and adjusted my expectations. After a very quick and pleasant check in, arrived in our room and noticed wall paper trim falling down in a corner and what appeared to be mold underneath. This couldn’t be good! I asked at front desk and a very nice manager quickly came to the room to verify(could not tell if it was mold without a ladder) and gave me new room immediately. He told me the hotel just changed management that very day. It’s obvious that things need a little freshening up. The next day we didn’t get any housekeeping so I went to ask if we could get some– and again the staff responded well. The internet, in-room coffee and free breakfast is a plus. If the future reviews reflect some improvements then I’ll most likely stay again, knowing this is a budget experience.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the airport. I like it that it’s clean and serves hot breakfast. The breakfast consisted of eggs, fruits, make-your-own-waffles, cereal, milk, mini muffins and bacon. The food quality is mediocre but hey it’s free(or already comes in the price you paid). The thing really bothered me is the noise. It could be the location of my room(which faces the highway) but it should not feel like there is an earthquake going on while I’m in the room. It would quiet down for a few minutes then started shaking. I was tired enough that it didn’t bother me and was able to sleep through the night. If you are a light sleeper, it may not work for you. Oh on a positive note, they did offer free wifi and the connectivity is pretty steady.

Wow, where do I start? Lack of customer service & support or management. I’ve stayed at this hotel over the last 3 years. If you think you can reserve a room, and think when you arrive that you have one, not here! My last 3 trips in, I was told that they overbooked, and I might have to look elsewhere. Really now? I book at least 1 month ahead of time. When they finally did find a room for me I was told it was no smoking, and its either that or find somewhere else. I drove 3 hours to hear that? Good service right? After putting up a stink the last time, I was told by the manager Nicole, «I never want you here again» So I am banned from that Comfort inn. Mind you I am a choice rewards member. I now stay somewhere else! Pros if any? my dog liked the free breakfast… Not worth the headache, but if you like taking chances and having a room with broken fixtures or leaks come here.

My wife and I went to a concert in Bethlehem, but we live about three hours’ drive from there, and figured we wouldn’t want to drive that far after a concert that gets out late at night, so decided to stay in the Bethlehem area overnight. We have two dogs, and we like to take them along on trips. Finding pet-friendly hotels is very difficult. We usually stay at hotels in the La Quinta chain because,(dog owner pro tip!) with the exception of their New York City hotels, they allow pets to stay in the rooms for free throughout the chain. The closest La Quinta on the way to Bethlehem from our house is in Harrisburg, which was about ¾ of the way home for us, and so I figured at that point why not just make the rest of the drive home. So, I went to and found this Comfort Inn. I’ve stayed in Comfort Inns before, and I have usually been satisfied, so I figured this hotel would be of comparable quality. The pet fee was reasonable($ 10 per pet per night). After calling the front desk to confirm the pet policy, I booked the room using bringfido. There is a very large grassy area behind the hotel where you can walk your dogs. The dog walk area is considerably larger than those we’ve found at other hotels. This hotel has two floors but no elevator, so if you use a wheelchair or have mobility issues, you should request a first floor room. I requested a first floor room upon check-in because of our dogs, but one was not available. The stairways are somewhat narrow — wide enough for a person but not for suitcases, and I had some trouble getting our suitcase up and down the stairs. This is definitely an older hotel built before the passage of the Americans With Disabilities Act. The room was small, but adequate for our needs. Each room has a fridge and microwave. The hotel advertises free wi-fi and a free breakfast, but we did not take advantage of either of those amenities, so I am not able to review them. This Comfort Inn is just a few miles from downtown Bethlehem and was very convenient to the ArtsQuest/Steel Stacks venue where the concert we attended took place — about 10 minutes’ drive from the venue. The room was clean EXCEPT for an old sandwich crust I found in the bottom of the fridge — ew. Our room was very hot upon arrival but this was easily fixed by turning on the A/C. The pillows are the square Euro style pillows which are smaller than standard pillows. I requested regular pillows at the front desk and the desk clerk looked at me like I had three heads, treated me rudely, and acted like I was putting her out. Similarly, we ran out of toilet paper, and when my wife requested more TP from the same front desk clerk, she reports that she was treated similarly, like she was being a burden on the desk clerk. Everyone else I spoke to at the hotel was nice and polite, so I think this is just a one-employee problem with the front desk clerk on duty when we checked in; I wish I had taken down or remembered her name so I could have made a complaint. Hindsight is 20⁄20. My wife told me that our non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke, but her nose is far more sensitive than mine, and I did not pick up on that smell. There was a faint smell that I could not identify but it did not smell to me like cigarette smoke. required me to pay in advance for the room when I made the booking, with the pet fee due upon check-in. This is unusual for hotels(usually they just require you to put a credit card on file in case you don’t show), but I thought it was hotel policy because we were bringing our dogs. This turned out not to be the case. When I checked in, I paid the $ 20 pet fee(2 dogs * 1 night * $ 10 per dog per night) on my debit card and this fee was not a surprise. After I got home, I noticed the pet fee had been charged twice to my debit card. I called the hotel a few times and the problem was resolved, with the erroneous charge refunded. It turns out that the fact that I was made to pre-pay for the room through caused some confusion as to how the pet charge was to be accounted for. If you book this hotel and have pets, I would highly recommend making the reservation through the hotel front desk or through Comfort Inn/Choice Hotels reservations line or website, rather than through , in order to avoid this kind of error. Overall, this Comfort Inn served our needs, but I was a little disappointed, and expected more for the room rate we paid. This Comfort Inn is a little lower quality than most other Comfort Inn or other Choice Hotels brands locations where I have stayed in the past.

Stayed here one night earlier in December. Room was very clean. The«expanded» continental breakfast had a pretty good selection and the lady taking care of it was very attentive to making sure that everything was neat, fresh and nice. The person at the front desk when we checked in was very nice. Friendly and helpful. Only complaint: This hotel has no elevator(not a big deal) but the stairwell and corridor leading to it are too narrow to easily manage your luggage.
