Just some more accolades: I recently purchased a sofa and table from Home & Planet, and the guy(owner? part owner?) couldn’t have been more helpful. He let us sit on their couch for an hour going through fabric swatches, and didn’t try to rush us through the decision. Then, the kicker … we purchased a table that they had in store, and weren’t sure how to get it home. We live right across the New St bridge(less than 2 miles from the store), so it seemed to be ridiculous to rent a truck or delivery service to get it home. But the table was just a tad too big to fit in our Mazda hatchback. Enter the(potential)owner — he graciously volunteered to drive it to our place in his truck, and helped my fiancé load it up. He followed us home, helped unload the table, then went back to the store. No «delivery charge» or anything. The employees at Home and Planet are just genuinely warm, friendly, helpful people, and I have nothing but great things to say about this place!

Stopped in last night during First Friday and was amazed by all great, unique furniture and wares in the store. Jewelry, handbags, candles, couches, tables, lamps, etc. Some of what they’ve got I don’t even foresee being able to afford, but there’s a great selection of hip green and recycled items. I picked up a divine smelling soy wax candle and a recycled greeting card. There was a DJ spinning some great tunes(which I imagine was only for First Friday), but there is art gallery space in the back featuring a single artist’s work and sugarmama cupcakes for sale.

Love this place! Awesome, unique furniture and home décor fashioned from recycled items ranging from soda tabs to I-Beams from the now defunct Bethlehem Steel. Great variety, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a very funky and cool home store using recycled products in a very sustainable way. Lots of one of a kind, ready-to-use art pieces. The concept of the store is great. I really like how they play with all kinds of mediums to create so many cool and inventive things. There are a lot of hidden surprises. You could spend a good chunk of time here trying to explore everything. Caveat thrifty home shoppers. This may not be the place for you. With such original, artistic pieces, comes that expensive price tag. The items in this store may have come from recycled products, but their prices are anything but secondhand.

This place is great — very unique gifts, furniture, artwork, etc. all from reused and recycled materials. Some items from old license plates, tin cans, glass-top tables with wrought iron base from the old Bethlehem Steel fence, carved wood, etc. Just can’t say enough about this place — we’re lucky to have it in the Lehigh Valley.

Love this place. Totally offbeat furniture and various other home items. Primarily made up of previously used, recycled materials. Very cool.
