My husband and I took my daughter and her husband and two grandchildren to lunch here after Christmas shopping in downtown Bethlehem. It was a horrible experience. First thing the waitress managed to spill hot cider all over my grandson’s back and coat. She was pretty useless cleaning it up. The service was beyond slow. So much so that I honestly thought they forgot about us. When the food finally arrived, it was a huge disappointment. My daughter and I both ordered the mixed green salad with goat cheese and cranberries. It was not a luncheon salad. A handful of greens, two pieces of red onion, a tablespoon of goat cheese and 6 cranberries! The dressing was some sweet unrecognizable glutinous mess. The other meals were very small portions. Would have been better off grabbing a hot dog on the street. Would never ever go back.

Woohoo, Michael Adams is back! We made our way here for a quiet Thursday night dinner during restaurant week. Well, what should have been quiet, had it not been for an ugly set of patrons who were annoyingly loud(but who luckily managed to pack away their three course dinner in only 65 minutes, thank goodness). So the 2nd half of our dinner was nice & quiet. Restaurant week menu was solid — beet carpaccio & risotto starters, pork & chicken for dinner(the pork was the star of the night, with a delicious squash & apple mix), and crème brûlée and a white chocolate pumpkin bread pudding. It is BYOB(should have asked before we went!) and the service was phenomenal. At the end of dinner when the credit card machine was broken, they were kind enough to take a personal check instead of making us run outside in the cold to find an ATM. This definitely isn’t your hip, trendy new hot spot in Bethlehem, but the building is beautiful and the food is spot on. I hear rumors that a liquor license is in the works, which will make it even better. This place is now on my Sunday brunch wish list.

Elated to see the Sun Inn restaurant resurrected after a few years of being closed, my husband and I were delighted by the wonderful menu selections, gourmet preparation, and high quality ingredients of the meals served. Chef Michael is truly a culinary genius. This coupled with the ambiance of our great old Colonial inn, it’s truly a dining experience you don’t want to miss.

My wife and I walked by one day and saw the sign saying Chef Michael Adams was operating a restaurant out of the Sun Inn, opening that very day. We were already familiar with his food from the Farmhouse and from his catering. It so happened there was another event going on in the Sun Inn Courtyard that afternoon. We made a reservation, then hung out in the Courtyard enjoying the music and drinking wine.(I sat in with both bands). Then we had dinner inside the Sun Inn. What a great meal that was! Fantastic food and service. It’s a special-occasion kind of place for us, and we look forward to our next visit.

We recently held our rehearsal dinner at the Sun Inn and couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. The dinner was intimate(about 20 people) and the room was beautiful. Chef Michael Adams prepared some of the best food I’ve ever tasted and the service was divine. Everyone was blown away by the experience. Later that night we invited the rest of our wedding guests for a pre-wedding social and I couldn’t believe how smoothly it went! Chef Adams prepared hors d’oeuvres and had arranged our drinks beautifully around the three upstairs rooms. Everyone had a blast! Bucky, the museum curator, was a wonderful host and repeatedly gave impromptu tours at the guests’ request. All in all, we were thrilled with the Sun Inn!
