Great breakfast find while at a tournament. Cute décor, fast and friendly. We had to do breakfast take out(egg sandwich on ciabatta and eggs/bacon/delicious potatoes and wonderful cinnamon raisin toast) but I was salivating at the french toast that was going by. Recommended to all that were looking for food options

Food was excellent! Servers were friendly especially the chef! Sat at the counter and being in the restaurant industry I noticed some minor health code violations but I’m not easily turned off and will be back!

This is a cute little place, on a quiet corner, with great staff and delicious food. The serving size is on the smaller size for a diner, but the food is closer to a high end restaurant, as is the plating. I tried the quiche, and I’ve had some great quiches, including having a caterer prepapre some for our wedding, and this was the best quiche I’ve ever had. It was gouda and corned beef, and that is just such a great combination, that I’ve never heard of. And even more impressive, instead of a pastry crust, they used potatoes on the bottom. The homefries that came with it were also quite tasty. After eating the food, I was still hungry, and that’s quite sad. The portion size is actually what it should be. We’re just so used to overeating in this country, that when a restaurant does the right thing, our body doesn’t know what to do with it. I really hope that other restaurants take notice, and start following their example.

Delighted by this unique and friendly place, they’ve been open just over a year and have an obvious love for bicycles. It’s very small inside, with only 8 stools at the bar and 2 four tops, and 6 two tops, so I this isn’t really a hang out spot, but the food was very delicious. We came for breakfast and had the bowl special, which today was a ribeye hash and whiskey sauce. Potatoes and eggs your way. The croissant French toast with bourbon bananas and the Mac n cheese. Everything was great, from the service to the food, makes me want to move here. The kitchen is all behind the bar, which I found to be the best thing about this place. The frige, and flat top, along with their dish station all fit tight back there, which gives it an extra special charm.

The bourbon banana French toast is criminal! Such decadence should not be legal in the lower 50 states! The ribeye hash was a perfect little portion. Coffee was delicious. Servers/owners were sweet and accommodating. You can’t go wrong with this place!

Just had our first breakfast here. It was delicious! My husband had the quiche and I had the croissant french toast with bourbon bananas. They were both delicious and priced right. The service was good and the place was hopping. A great local find and I am sure we will be regulars!

People’s Kitchen is quickly becoming one of my favorite breakfast spots in the Lehigh Valley. I’ve been there twice for breakfast and once for lunch, and each time the food and service have been wonderful. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very small, and you will sometimes have to wait a while for a table. I’ve had the specialty quiche and croissant french toast for breakfast — amazing. The quiche changes each week and is delicious if you’re in the mood for something savory, and the croissant french toast can be topped with bananas, strawberries, or chocolate(or a combination!) if you’re in the mood for something sweet. Because the restaurant is small, you are waited on quickly and your food comes out right away. I had the chicken salad sandwich when I went for lunch, also incredible. The menu is small, but everything on it sounds amazing and unique, making it hard to chose what to eat. I can’t wait to return to People’s Kitchen to try more of what they have to offer!

This place is on the corner, tucked away. It’s a local place that is truly a gem. The place is small and seating is limited. The breakfast was awesome and it’s the reason there is a line to get in. Great Place!!! Worth the wait.

Everything about the People’s Kitchen was awesome. Location wins major points. Super easy to find; corner spot on Linden, playground across the street so our kid could play while we waited for food(yes, this is the kind of stuff I think about now), plenty of street parking. Service was excellent. We walked in and were greeted by the most handsome chef I have ever seen in my life. A table closer to him would have been nice, but our table in the back was comfortable. Our server was really friendly and immediately brought our kid a drink with a very cool straw so he was happy. The brunch menu was varied and had something for meat lovers to vegans. I ordered the special french toast with chocolate and I wanted to lick the plate clean. I really love that you can see the chef cooking everything on the spot and the ambiance was cozy, warm and rustic. The name is perfect. I cannot wait to go back.

Excellent burger! Great little place in north side Bethlehem. Went on the recommendation of a friend who does not recommend too many places. Glad I went. Good portions, good prices. The burger was cooked exactly how I asked.

Party of two for breakfast. Three stars for the coffee, which was quite good. I had the Texas Toast french toast. My friend had The Hipster, which looked great on the menu but was just a brie sandwich with a couple of small triangles of apple. I mean, nothing was wrong. It just wasn’t anything special. I think more design went into the menu than the décor. Service was fine. Food was fine. Unimpressed.

A wonderful place for breakfast/brunch. My fiancé and I stopped by around 9 and was pleasantly surprised by a cosy restaurant which looked definitely very welcoming. It was around 8am and the place was almost full. We were seated promptly and offered freshly brewed coffee. I ordered the shrimp and grits. My wife had their french toast special of the day. The grits, stuffed in a fresh crêpe with the shrimp, well cooked with a mild, smoky, barbeque sauce. Quite good, but for a brunch place, there was room for improvement in their portion size. A little bigger and it would be perfect. My wife’s french toast was delicious and quite satisfactory in its size. I had a bite and loved it. Overall, an interesting addition to the brunch scene and the best thing is they open early so perfect for a stop en route an early morning trip or even work.

In town for a wedding, the boyfriend and I go searching for a good breakfast/brunch place. I hate eggs and toast platter so I was happy when People’s Kitchen asked me if I wanted a breakfast or lunch menu or both. The boyfriend ordered their jalapeño burger and I got the quiche. The burger and quiche were both made to order. I had a bite of the burger and I was delicious! A fresh patty(never frozen) — the server even asked us if we wanted«pink» or «no pink». For $ 8 for fresh angus beef never frozen patty and fresh cut shoe string fries I was impressed. The quiche is good but on the smaller side, the side salad is amazing. Simple side salad but dressed so well and all the greens are fresh(no limpy leaves for me). Highly recommend.

Right when I saw the empty PBR cans outside of the building I had a feeling this was going to be a hipster spot. Great food… Though portions could have been bigger… which was fine for my friend and I since we were going to get tacos afterward! BUT if you’re not on a food tour like we were, it might be good to order three dishes to share among two. Staff members were super welcoming. Shrimp and Grits Crêpe were really good! Croissant French Toast was great also.

The spicy burger is great. Juicy and perfectly prepared on a very fresh ciabatta with local excellent veggies and perfect amount of crispy quality bacon. You get fries or a small salad and highly recommend the cucumber salad– it’s the perfect fresh, light ending to an otherwise indulgent burger. When I get those for $ 8 total… I will be back. Maybe tomorrow.

Great little brunch spot! There is a limited menu and limited seating. There’s a couple of tables and bar seating. We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday and had a 5 – 10 minute wait, which wasn’t bad. The menu is nice and concise without being distracting. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. I had the Mac & Cheese with an egg served in a cast iron skillet. It was delicious with the melted cheese and strip of bacon, I would definitely recommend it! My fiancé had the croissant french toast with bourbon bananas. I thought it was too sweet with all the caramel sauce, but he really liked it. We will definitely be going back, hopefully to try their lunch menu!

My husband and I happened to be in the neighborhood today and found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Best.Decision.Of.The.Day! Shrimp and Grits crepes with a chipotle bbq drizzle. It’s hours later and I’m still thinking about it! Bottom line: pleasant, no-frills restaurant with a nice ambiance and excellent food. Bön appetite!

If you want brunch on the weekend with a group of people, you better get there EARLY. We happened to go on a Sunday at 9 – 9:30am and it got super packed around 10:30 so we were lucky! It is a bit cramped in there so when there is a wait, it is a long wait. I loved the atmosphere, everything was so open and the cook was there in the window cooking up all of our breakfast. There are a decent amount of tables, plus the bar top to sit at. I ordered the Texas Toast french toast with bourbon banana and O-M-G, it was delicious! There wasn’t an overdose of sauce, the perfect amount. So much food too. Everyone else loved their meals, I tried the pancakes with the other sauce(I can’t remember) but those were just as good. All the food we had was delicious and I was told the coffee is really good. I would order the french toast again, I should try something else but it is just too yummy. Yes, the menu is limited, but I kind of like it. Not too many distractions and it’s easy to choose for the morning. With how small this place is, it’s better to get people in and out quickly! I will definitely visit this place again for breakfast! I
