Penne ala vodka with chicken is good. A little bit on the pricier side, but i keep ordering from here because the pastas are good. I suggest picking up though because they take a while to deliver.

My place of work is located closely to Gino’s of Bethpage, so we typically order from here on a regular basis. I’d say at least 4 times a month we order very large amounts of food for all the workers — with the bill usually exceeding $ 100-$ 200 depending on the occasion. I can’t lie — the food is really good. But sadly, we will never order from here again due to the incompetence and attitude of the staff/manager. Unfortunately our orders have been messed up one too many times. Once, they prepared the penne with balsamic dressing and tried to say that’s what we wanted — who the hell has ever eaten that??? They’ve also forgotten the meatballs to the meatballs and spaghetti and many other items. I understand that when placing large orders things can be left out or forgotten but we always make sure to have the person read back the order and we always make sure when we pick up all the food is there. Every time they make a mistake, which, by the way, they rarely even apologize for or care about, we still continue to order from them — b/c again the food is good. This past Monday, they forgot all 4 paninis we ordered — my coworker went to go pick up the food and saw the bag of paninis waiting to be packaged, she then got distracted and left thinking the person put them in the larger back, only to get to the office and see they stupidly forget to give them to her. We called and told them, and the girl was very sweet and apologized and said the delivery guy was leaving ASAP. We work no more than 10 mins away, so when 20 mins. pass by, we call again. The same girl changes her story and says that they actually had to make new ones and that the delivery guy was leaving just now — okayyyy different story then when we first called but whatever — but here’s what’s funny — as soon as we hung up that second call, the delivery guy walks in with our paninis — CLEARLYYOUJUSTLIEDTOUS. Clearly they weren’t made fresh but just gave us those now 20 min. old paninis but you don’t care at all about your customers. We call a third time, and we start to get angry b/c we were so clearly lied to. The manager is yelling at US saying we’re disrespecting his food? wtf? we have been loyal customers for yearsss spending thousands of dollars here. Anyway, delivery guy comes back again with the money for our paninis that we demanded a refund on but won’t give it to us unless we give back the panins which we obviously ate b/c at this point we’re so hungry we’ll eat whatever. Long story but it shows how loyal customer’s are treated. sorry gino’s you lost quite a lot of money from an office of 15+ workers.

Ginos is terrible! The girls that work there are complete dingbats they don’t know the menu whatsoever every time u have a ques they put u on hold… I used to order from them all the time but they really are terrible now. I always ask for well done pizza and I never ever get it. Their garlic knots are saturated in oil. And are not fresh. I always ask for reg bread instead of dinner rolls w my salad and they either tell me it’s an additional charge or give me a very small piece. They don’t have Diet Coke only Pepsi. Not ok. This review is based on the pizza only. I have had a good experience on their entrees inside the dining area. Takeout is a disaster. Go to villa Maria they are my new spot. Small quaint nice people good food and they make fresh to order knots!!! I always get a well done pizza and they have Diet Coke!!!

i have lived in Bethpage for 40 years when Ginos first opened we have been ordering and the orders get bigger and bigger since my family has grown my son who lives with me orders a lot for himself and friends I also have a business in Bethpage/Melville where they have delivered was told they will no longer deliver to business no cal to me to explain I go in to pickup today the manager says we won’t deliver to the business. I not only recommended his pizzeria to guests and friends and neighbors but also put TRENTO on a map for guests in Melville and recommended. Well the MGR told me tonight«we don’t need your business“no friendly conversation just a stupid response as far as I am concerned! The food is good For sure. But the«Macho Man» needs to brush up on customer service

The fried calamari is better than any other Italian restaurant period. The service is amazing. The prices reflect the high quality and attention to detail the kitchen strives to achieve. Even the pizza and panini’s are delicious. If you go before six pm might have a few minutes to wait. I’ve gone after 7pm and we were seated immediately. They have wine and beer, good times can be had, they never rush you out.

Tried to place an order on the phone for pickup and was unable to give a credit card… what kind of place does not accept credit card in this day in age… on to the next pizza place.

I love Gino’s. Great pizza, great food, their prices are a little high but that is to be expected. The only thing that bothers me is the people who take orders over the phone. I worked for pizza places for 4 years. It’s not hard to take my name, number, order and give me a total. I understand if you’re having a rough day or there is a large influx of customers, but you shouldn’t need to confirm my phone number four times(which you got right the first time) before making me wait to give you my order which you will ask me to repeat three times. Don’t sweat the small stuff, but it could help ironing out some kinks to increase the amount of customers that come back. Have more confidence in yourself you well spoken woman on the other end of my phone.

Stopped in on Saturday for the first time. The counter girls and guys weren’t so friendly but I ordered anyway. They have a nice little bar set up & seating area but I ordered my lasagna to go. It took about 20−30mins, a little longer than it should’ve but I didn’t mind. The owner did go check on it several times and advised me it would be coming out shortly. I like that owner is there overseeing everything BUT there was a point where he may have embarrassed an employee for getting an order wrong & that wasn’t cool. That stuff should stay in the kitchen or where there are no other customers or employees around. The lasagna was okay, I’ve had better. But I think it was priced appropriately & it had potential to be good, maybe they were having an off day? Anyway, I will give this place another try.

Was there the other day, While I was in the area. Always looking too try a new pizza place as it is probably my favorite fast food. Went into Ginos and ordered two regular slices too go. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. At first the place looks pretty small but it is deceiving as they have an entire dining area in back. The pizza was good not the best I ever had but definitely ok.

My family has been going here for years the food is good but they do get cheap on somethings. like if we order take out and get a chicken roll and we want a little sauce on the side they charge you 75 cents for it, Really? thats weird, you just spent 40 bucks on take out and they charge you for a little sauce. and also when we sit there to eat they are a little cheap on their pour for wine too I guess they don’t think things like that matter but it makes you not want to go back because they nickel and dime you on stupid things.

This place should have been shut down a long time ago. The food has no taste and the people working there lack any sort of customer service skills. I went there on 3 different occasions. The first time was ok, but after that it kept getting worse. It’s embarrassing having a place like this in my neighborhood.

Living on Long Island, pizza places are a dime a dozen, but this is my go to spot. I’m sitting here eating a slice of buffalo chicken pizza. I usually go one regular and one Sicilian, but decided to stray from the norm. The grandma was on my mind because it looked lovely, but keeping in mind I’m having Italian for dinner, I went with a less Italian slice. If you’re in the area, and you have a hankering for some pizza, give it a shot. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I ordered a small caesar salad with grilled chicken and two slices of chicken bacon ranch for delivery on Saturday for my boyfriend & I. The total came to $ 21.75 for everything, I put it on my card. When the delivery guy came I tipped him $ 3.00 on the card making my new total $ 24.75. The food arrives and of course the two slices were cold, we had to put them in the oven. The salad was okay nothing special. Today, being Tuesday 3 days after I ordered the food the payment finally posted to my account. It says I spent $ 26.75 on my order which is false. They overcharged me $ 2.00, and I know its only $ 2.00 but its the fact of the matter. I called the restaurant and they said they would have the manager call me back, of course the manager hasn’t called me back yet. Never will I return here. Two bad experiences at two different Gino’s restaurants I learned my lesson!

I like coming to this place. I’ve been to a couple of the other Gino’s and they are all very good. Besides having a lot of good food and pizza the staff is very friendly and they have great service. You can also come on a Friday or Saturday and get seated relatively quickly. They also have a kids menu so my son was happy because there food besides pizza he can eat. They also have gluten free pasta which actually taste good if you have those kinds of dietary restrictions. The one downside to this place is its in a very congested strip mall with a small parking lot. The parking spaces seem to be very tight and it’s just tough to navigate. Gino’s is also next to a bar so there is always people outside smoking which is pretty annoying. Overall I would definitely come back here when I’m in the area. The food is worth it.

Beware of take out here. About 40% of the time your order won’t be right. The girls who answer the phone are cute but not very bright. Check your order before you leave or you might be bringing it back and get aggravated.

This place has pretty great food and pizza — not always the best service, which is why I can’t give it 5 stars. I went here for a birthday dinner with my boyfriend, his mother, and my parents and the waiter seemed annoyed to serve a party of 5 that was sparing no expense for a birthday celebration. We even called in advance to let them know we’d be a bigger party than they might be expecting and would be there for a long time. The food took really long to come out, they didn’t have some of the items on the menu, and again, the server seemed more bothered to be serving us than anything else. Great food though. I’m sure this was just a fluke experience, since I’ve eaten here for a quick slice several times over the past few years and never and a bad experience.

Not only is the pizza tasteless, but the dough is extremely thin to the point where the little bit of cheese that is on top was burnt on the bottom. The restaurant must be trying to save money with how little of each ingredient is added, but at this point its just making the restaurant look bad. If i could, I would put a negative star.

I look at these reviews and I’m little shocked. Are we talking about the same Gino’s??? I come here at least once maybe twice a week… weather it be take out or delivery. I honestly cant say enough good things about Gino’s. You can walk in on the sheer chaos of a Friday night and be asked your order or pick up right away! The guys working behind the counter hustle and have such a system its nuts. The girls answering the phones have never screwed up one of our orders… and to me that is everything because I generally have no faith in people when I place an order. Onto the pizza– Margarita slice and upside down Sicilian could eat them alllllllll day long! Make a solid regular and Sicilian slice as well. Their pasta dinners and heros are great as well! Everytime I have physically eaten here the customer service was top notch. Last but not least… our apt complex has no street sign… and their delivery guy still is able to find it every time!

If you asked me what I thought about this place two years ago I’d give it 4 stars all the way! But the last two times I ordered(most recent was about 3 months ago) they only deserve two. First off… I usually order delivery. When it comes to delivery the bill was always a little more than what the website menu shows. If you guys increased prices for your dishes you need to update your web menu. Not only did they increase the prices but they definitely decreased their portions. Not cool! I was extremely disappointed when our deliver of three entrees came out to around 60 $ with the most expensive being 15.95 and one being the chicken parm hero. The other was a chicken dish around 14.95. Does that make sense for chicken parm to be that much? I let it go the first time but the second time it happened again and made the decision to never order or eat there again. Once we got linguini In white clam sauce. Boy were we in for a surprised. It didn’t even taste like what it’s suppose to… it was loaded with salt and there was little to no clam in it. What a waste. If I was hungry and needed something quick I’d go here for their pizza. But nothing else.
