Came here for valentines day(fixed course). We had a terrible experience here. When we sat there was barely anyone there but the wait staff still took their sweet time to even take our drink order(which were not very good to start with and $ 15). By the time our drinks came people had already started filling up. We put our order in with our drink order and even after an hour of waiting we still had no sign of our meals or waiter(but people around us were already starting to get meals). Finally fed up I went up to the hostess(didn’t even attempt to find our waiter) and asked for or drink check so we can at least find somewhere else to eat. Luckily they waived our drinks cause of the crap service. It’s in a nice location but service was the worst and food didn’t look that good so I was kinda glad not to pay that markup

great location, obviously, I ate the roasted salmon which was perfect, and shared the maine lobster tail with my friends, it was enough for three, my two lady friends had tomahawk steak and filet mignon, I also had a seafood salad with shrimp, lobster and everything else thrown in including scallops and crab and it was enough we all picked at it too, the pastries are very good, the hot cocoa was perfect, the service was a little slow, the waiter was great, but the hostess took a long time to finish her call on her cell phone, and then talking to another customer for a while, oh well it’s beverly hills, when she saw my cameras she changed her tempo and regaled me of her time as a model and aspiring actress… great food and even better desert. and free parking downstairs too…

It was ok, and as an experience it would rate 4 stars. The good, friendly staff(running late, phoned ahead, couldn’t be more accommodating and held our terrace table). Friendly, swift service. The views, whole experience of the ‘golden triangle’ /Wiltshire hotel view etc(although in fairness after countless trips to Dubai I’ve seen enough of this gratuitous wealth showing to last a lifetime) The not so good. The food was just about par, dessert was the best dish, salmon the weakest. All in all, you’re going to eat here not for the food but for the experience so it’s ‘a-ok’, you’ll remember the experience long after the you’ve forgotten the food.

Had an awesome lunch there! No surprise that it would be crowded with an excellent executive chef but the attentive staff is welcoming and will get you through as quickly or slowly as you want. Looking forward to my next visit!

We loved everything we ordered Food and drinks. The waitress was very friendly and nice, she gave us the right suggestion for drinks that we lived. kind of a psychic lol The location of the restaurant is great right in the center of rodeo drive. I am a very picky customer, the only think I have to say about 208 Rodeo is perfect !!

We decided to meet up with our friends there, on the late evening. They were after the whole day of sightseeing and were famished and we just ate our dinner so we were aiming for a quick snack and drinks. To have a better chance of admiring beautiful views and enjoying fresh air, we decided to stay on the terrace. The whole place seemed posh and the service had a bit of the attitude(visible on their faces). Probably happens a lot in restaurants near Beverly Hills. Still they have been pretty nice, apart from the moment when our waitress started to collect our order and me and my fiancé only ordered soup. It was very visible she was unhappy with that. I decided on soup of the day, which was a watermelon gazpacho, served cold. Interesting taste, but nothing I would repeat. I tried some crispy calamari too and they were good. Our friends had the whole diner, including steak and chicken and they were satisfied but it wasn’t the best food they have eaten in LA. Drinks were really good thought. We had a few. All in all, nothing special for a rather high price.

Good onion soup. Caesar salad nothing special. For a tourist spot with great people watching the food is solid and the service good.

I hardly ever give poor reviews on Unilocal unless I really have to. After I ate at this place, I was just curious on what others are saying about this place. So I checked out other’s reviews and I must say I couldn’t agree more with the rest on HOWSLOW the service is here. I brought a small service dog for two people. And they kept us waiting and seated others first. I noticed it was because of my dog. And I caught the host speaking to the manager, and he gave her a «NO way!» on having us sit anywhere. So I finally convinced the manager my dog is a SERVICEDOG,(meaning he’s well trained and will not be in the way of anyone). So he finally gave us a seat. The bread didn’t come for a while, like the other reviewers are saying. We only ordered Thai Steak salad, French Onion soup and a side of french fries. The Soup took forever. Then the bread came after, and even after we finished the soup, the salad still hasn’t arrived. The food order was totally off. Then, when the salad came, they were split in 2 diff dishes. Which I didn’t ask for. When we got the bill, they charged us $ 5 extra for splitting the salad. I’ve never seen a charge for splitting a dish, which again, I never asked for it to be done. Then they charged 15.5% service charge which I have no idea what this is, after getting home, I noticed it. I’m guessing it’s for bringing a service dog? This place is ridiculous and I can’t believe it’s sitting at the heart of Rodeo Drive. I would rather go to In-N-Out then go here. Sorry.

I am in love with their Choco-Banana Brioche French Toast! This is french toast served with caramelized bananas, nutella, hazelnut, orange zest, and maple syrup. I will never eat French Toast again. The portion is huge, and it was full of flavor. My mouth waters thinking about it. The service was really nice, and you get a really nice view.

I would give the food and the ambience four stars, but the service was so lousy that I just can’t. Our server was incredibly slow, the food came out slow, the drinks came out slow. And they were NOT busy(which was surprising for a Saturday night). After we ordered our food, he told us that he would bring bread out for us. It never came. I saw all the tables around us get bread, but we never did. When he came to check on us after our food came, I asked if the bread was good. He said, «it’s sourdough.» I said, «Great, I definitely want to try it and have it with our dinner.» He said he would have it brought right out. It never came. We finished eating and a runner(or maybe a different server) came by to ask how it was and take our plates. I mentioned that it was fine but we never got our bread and by then we were done eating. We had originally planned on checking out the dessert tray but I was just so annoyed and wanted to leave. The calamari was fine… it’s hard to mess up if you really like calamari. The chipotle aioli that comes with it is yummy. I had the pumpkin ricotta ravioli… it was pretty delicious, and I’ve never had that anywhere else so it was a nice, new thing to try. The sangria wasn’t anything special, just go for wine instead. There was live music on the patio. The singers were amazing. Bottom line is when you add gratuity onto all checks, you better make sure you have great service. We’re great tippers on our own, but there was no extra for this guy.

Nice, relaxing time with my daughter. We got a little hungry and decided to give this place a try. The setting certainly made for a nice spot. Definitely a good place for people/tourist watching. We started off with the calamari; not bad, just a touch greasier than what I’m used to, but had good flavor, especially with the dipping sauces. Daughter had the Caesar Salad and I had the Penne Arrabiata with chicken. Both were very good. Of course, we shared. Lunch was topped off with Tiramisu, a good ending.

If you go here, try some of the more exotic items like the spicy tuna tartar or the seafood salad. Don’t bother with anything resembling«burger» or «pasta» as they are just expensive versions of what you’d get at Denny’s. That aside, the pricier items on the menu are dishes exclusive only to this place. It even has a dedicated chef. The downsides to this place are: (1) The Price — All the dishes, including the non-descript«burger» items, were a bit too expensive. Being located on Rodeo Drive, it’s understandable they’d have to make up for the high price of renting commercial space. But there’s something paying $ 6 for a cup of cranberry juice that doesn’t make sense. (2) Tourists — Again, being located on Rodeo Drive, it’s understandable(and smart) for a business to target the high volume traffic of tourists. Unfortunately, that means the ambiance and layout of the restaurant is designed like a high-class fast food place. In order to serve volumes of people with food that’s well-made, the décor suffers. The restaurant has a large patio section and a small cramped interior with a maximum capacity of 20 people. Four stars for food, two for ambiance/décor.

I was surprised to see why there were so many people dining here, but I now know why that was. It is because this restaurant offers a great numbers and variety of delicious Italian cusine! Me and my friend ordered a few appetizers to get us started… And they got us started… TOORDERMORE! Lol But seriously their food is delicious! Will be back soon!

Organic Tomato Bisque is what it is meant to be and taste like at 208 Rodeo. It is a great afternoon starter — somewhat healthy too — for a long day of shopping on Rodeo. If you like people watching this is your place — just sit in the balcony and stare. Want more? Sneak into the Tiffany’s store for a treat! It is, after all, next door.

Cool, pleasant little corner with great tasty gourmet food. Everything very special, music was nice and the staff, awesome! Very friendly and good looking Me and my boyfriend were walking around and decided to sit for a late lunch, we shared the sesame shrimp as an appetizer: delicious. The perfect texture and a cozy taste! Then I had the french onion soup(very good) and the Tuscan Kale salad(I am a salad fan, so I loved it!), and my boyfriend had the especial fish of the day, he loved it. And all the dishes we saw«passing by» looked beautiful and delicious. We didn’t try the dessert, in spite of the waitress attempt of «can I tempt you guys?» Very nice.

I love this restaurant! It is located right next to Tiffany’s on rodeo drive in Beverly hills(my favorite place). The location is amazing and coming here, just gives my life. It was easy for me to find, because I was told it was right next to Tiffany’s, but I could see someone having issues finding because it is tucked away. When I walked up, I was greeted immediately with a smile and asked if I would be dining inside or outside. I chose to sit outside because I love to people watch, and it was warm with a nice breeze. Our server was great she was full of energy, and gave us plenty of information about the drinks and specials. The price was decent for rodeo drive. All in all I have a great brunch, food was great, people were great, and the location of course was amaze-balls.

To be fair, my review is only on the happy hour and only ordered three items. Slider/Squash soup/Yam Fries. Was disappointed, but the ambiance of the out door seating in Christmas décor, and live music made up for it. Best part of the snack was the soup. Lots of flavor and warm. Slider was gammy, and flavors didn’t mesh together well. The yam fries were dry, and slightly over fried. I actually love fries of all types, but eating these yam fries actually deterred me from eating yam fries… for a long time: S I hope that it’ll be able to turn over a better leaf soon. Would be a waste of such a prime location. Or is that their angle?
