A pleasure to deal with Beladora for both buying and selling estate jewelry. Everyone there is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and straightforward. I peruse their website frequently and trust their description of pieces and photos. They have a significant presence in the marketplace and really know their stuff. I’ve never been disappointed in either my interactions with them or in the merchandise(and I have both purchased and sold). I think they’re one of the best out there at what they do. A pleasure to do business with.

Recently found an exquisite Art Deco brooch, online at Beladora & this had us intrigued b/c we’ve been along Rodeo Dr several times but don’t remember ever noticing the shop before. Responses to initial inquiries and requests for pics were extremely timely, however things came to a screeching halt as soon as I inquired about a «best price» Vintage shops are unique animals… most places I encounter(including shops on Rodeo Dr) tend to state an «asking price» but then might sell under a discounted /«best price» structure… so I have found it an unfortunate & sometimes embarrassing necessity to ask. And I loathe even having to ask & surely no offense is meant by the inquiry — but until a pricing-structure baseline is established w/a particular vintage shop, one just does not know So after I, like a jerk, followed up twice regarding price, I received an indirect /veiled confirmation that their prices are nonnegotiable… which is fine & now I know but please don’t ignore potential customers! A simple response after my 1st inquiry of «our pricing is firm» would have sufficed or better yet, post it on your website so expectations are set upfront. I’m sure I cannot have been the first to have ever broached the subject & it’s always best to remember that communication leads to sales. So a few weeks later & after all that, we still haven’t decided to complete the purchase… not counting it out but not as eager to go for it as we initially were — we’ll see how things are, given some more time & thought… the brooch itself, is indeed exquisite And even with the not-so-ideal first impression, we would be willing to try to seek out Beladora next time we’re down in SoCal. With our new«understanding» & the nice selection in their online catalog, might be interesting to see what’s in their physical inventory… & for me, that equates to A-OK
