City Rage is a casual, friendly but chic salon in the heart of Beverly Hills! I’ve been going to Lida for many years now. I started going to her for my eyebrows which I love– without having to pay an arm and a leg! She’s also been doing my hair in the last year or so and she’s done a wonderful job. I’m very picky when it comes to how my hair looks and have been to many salons in Beverly Hills and paid $$$ but never felt so happy. She listens and does what I want and never says she cannot do this and that with my hair type! I get a lot of compliments on my hair and often times friends and coworkers get the same hair style right away!
I’ve also been going to her for waxing as well. She’s very gentle and quick! I highly recommend her for a one-​stop beautification!

City Rage is a high-​end, unpretentious, comfortable, therefore classy salon, way classier than any champagne flowing Rodeo Drive one.
I bring my friend here for color with Sumiko. They have been a team for too many years to count, Sumiko making house calls when my friend was ill, never compromising quality or skill, leaving her feeling uplifted, better about how she looked as she regained strength, health then… so warm, welcoming now that my friend can come in.
Someday I might fit in here as well as I currently do with both my stylist and colorist (yes, I have two different highly skilled professionals). No harm in doing recon as situations, life changes in an instant. Until then I remain loyal, untemptable by discount coupons or other such deals! You gotta have trust, rapport with those who touch your tresses, like you do with your doctor.

Words of wisdom from an aging, unattractive Unilocaler: Always have a great haircut, color, never gain an ounce, take care of your car and your skin, your teeth because then it doesn’t matter if you’re dressed in rags, your entrance sizzles! Wouldn’t hurt to glance at the headlines either in the event there’s conversation :-)

I feel SOO lucky to have met Debbie! Not only does she master curly colored hair (MINE) but she also does a great job with my husband’s straight hair, brother-in-law’s curly short hair and 2 more sister’s curly hair.

Hands down, Debbie McBride is the best hair doctor around!!! From color to cut to blow-​drys to updoos to Brazilian Keratin treatment, Debbie does it all, always keeping in mind what’s best for you. Her prices are very fair and she doesn’t have one of those «artist» egos. And to top it off, she is really, really nice!!! I have been stopped in the market, at the theater, in a restaurant and even crossing the street by perfect strangers asking me who does my hair. I have been going to Debbie for 16 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!!!

Debbie at City Rage is an amazing colorist. Her color and highlights are the best I have ever seen. She does it all– color, cuts and blowdry. Debbie is a real find in Los Angeles.

I love Lida! I have been going to her for over 10 years and she is the best! I get compliments on my eyebrows all the time! Waxing, threading, hair, she does it all. She is professional and as sweet as can be. Lida gives you Beverly Hills service and quality without the outrageous price. I refer people to her almost daily. This review is for Lida, who does eyebrow waxing/​threading. Lida truly brings out the best in eyebrows. If you’ve been curious about «eyebrow threading», let me tell you, the results Lida achieves are amazing through this technique. It is slightly painful, but the ends justify the means. My eyebrows have never looked good, until Lida did them. And they look perfectly natural! Lida is very patient, and thorough, and dare I say, she is an awesome and wonderful person. I do not give 5 stars lightly, but I would give Lida 10 stars if possible.
