Dr Hands may have helped some people and he did help in some deeply troubling areas of my life.
The other a certain habit of mine that I said was a problem. He denied treating it because of that piece of garbage DSM that doesn’t address this issue. I argued and argued about how this is affecting me but he said it’s not a big deal.
As a result there’s it’s escalated good chance I have a terminal disease. Honestly as far as I’m concerned I have some choice words for him.
I don’t care who he’s helped. He failed me as a doctor and I recommend you find help elsewhere.
Under his care I ended up in the Hospital. He didn’t give me a piece of paper he was supposed to until months into the session instead of the beginning and he managed to talk me out of a career transition I had spent thousand and years investing.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hands on and off for about the last 7 years now. Even within the extremely selective community of Beverly Hills, he came highly recommended.
If it wasn’t for his patience and and calm demeanor, I have no idea what my situation might be today. His ability to empathize and then rationally evaluate solutions to any problem is literally a lifesaver. I’ve seen multiple people on both coasts for counseling, including Harvard PhDs. So when I say this, it isn’t just offhand; I recommend Dr. Craig Hands as highly as possible.
