I visited Dr. Peto months ago and he offered me a free consultant for the implant plan. Although I have not decided if I will do the implant (insurance coverage), Dr. Peto is super nice, professional, and answered most of my questions. And what is most important? The consultation is free ! If you want to find the true professional in LA, Dr. Peto is your choice.

The worst dental or medical experience of my life. First, know that Dr. Peto is not an oral surgeon. If you need an implant, don’t go to a periodontist. Dr. Peto was neither professional nor communicative, i.e. he did not explain what he was going to do before he did it, and he was rough and impatient both with me and the woman who was assisting him. He did not give me any ibuprofen either before or after the procedure and, worse, once he was finished, he just left the room and did not come back to see how I was doing or give me any instructions for after care. Worst of all, the implant failed and I had ligament damage on both sides of my jaw due to lack of support during the procedure. When fitted properly, only two percent of implants fail. Most of those are in smokers or diabetics; I am neither. I had to have the implant redone — by an oral surgeon — which was a completely different and successful experience.

There are two standards of care at this dental practice if you are seeking restorative and not cosmetic dentist. For those who this provider is in network for, you get offered the bare minimum and nothing more regardless of how serious your periodontal condition and needs are. If you’re fabulously wealthy and can pay upwards of $ 10K upward in the areas of expensive cosmetic dentistry, then this practice is for you but for the rest of L.A. citizens who rely at least in part on their dental insurance especially Federal dental insurance, caveat emptor. Not to mention the front office person lied about contacting our insurance company for authorization of services to pile on more costs and more radiation (risks 2^nd x-​rays in one month’s time) as insurance company told us no contact with them was ever made. Caveat emptor.

I used to hate my smile. I have no pictures of myself, I would run and hide anytime someone pulled out a camera. Now, thanks to Dr. Peto, I love my smile. He has completely changed how I feel about myself and how I present myself to the world. I cannot say enough about how amazing Dr. Peto is.
The office is gorgeous and the staff is so wonderful. Sitting is his chair is actually relaxing with a stunning view of the mountains and California sky. His hygienists are sweet and comforting. I wish I could have weekly lunches with them!
He was able to get me in very quickly and explained my procedure thoroughly and took care of all my questions and concerns.
But it was the aftercare that I have to rave about. Dr. Peto called to check on me after my procedure and everything was fine. A few days later I had some concerns about stitching and when I spoke to Dr. Peto, it was on his cell because it was his day off. His day off and he’s listening to my anxiety issues around stitches! He told me to send him photos and he’d tell me if I needed to come in and see him. He didn’t rush me, he talked me through what was happening, he had me come in just to make sure everything was healing properly. The man is a saint.
The rave review doesn’t stop there. When I had some insurance issues, I explained them to Dr. Peto and he made sure I was reimbursed in full. He’s worked with me every step of the way, he has been kind, generous, and makes me look forward to my check-​ups.
This review doesn’t even come close to how grateful I am that I went to Dr. Peto. His care was outstanding and his work is masterful. I would recommend him in a second and if I have any further dental needs you can bet I’ll be racing to Dr. Peto.

I have to rave about Dr. Peto. I put this off for years because the process described by the first doctor I saw sounded barbaric. Dr. Peto used a new technique that was far less invasive, fewer appointments and half the price. I was taken immediately by how much he put me at ease and how efficiently his office was managed. I had the surgery on a Thursday and then jumped on a plane three days later due to a family energency. The surgery was not painful and recovery went smoothly. In less than two weeks, the results are amazing and I have to remind myself that I’m still healing. I highly recommend him!

This Dental Chicken refused to have my gums split open and sewn back-​no thank you. I was so lucky to find Dr. Peto and his crew who are amazing. The LANAP laser surgery is so much easier on my body and mind. My teeth and gums are healing with ease and I am thrilled. I finally realized I don’t need a family Dentist anymore-​at my age a Periodontist named Dr. Peto is just perfect! Highly recommend him!!!

Went to see Dr. Peto for a second opinion after a hygienist (different office) strongly recommended gum scaling and root planing. Dr. Peto took a look and said my gums were fine. He saved me from the pain, discomfort, cost, and time consumption of unnecessary dental work.
Very calm office environment for those of us with anxiety over past dental work.
I would go back to him in an instant if I did ever need his help. Thanks, Dr Peto!

I had a great experience today at Dr. Peto’s office. It was my first visit and everybody was very nice and professional. The office runs very efficiently and I was seen in a matter of minutes. Dr. Peto took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. Finally, I felt like his team really cared about my experience and it really showed from beginning to end. Bonus points for a beautiful office with a stunning view.

Everything is run the way it should be.
The staff is very dedicated and friendly to patients.
His appointments are always on schedule so patients don’t have to wait to be seen.
And Dr. Peto’s knowledge, professionalism, dedication, and friendliness can’t be beaten.
I had periodontal issues and everything was handled quickly and correctly.

I struggled for months with red, swollen, PAINFUL gums due to an unknown cause. I take good care of my teeth so you can imagine my annoyance. I saw my lovely dentist and an oral surgeon, both were stumped at my diagnosis after repeat visits. Dr. Peto super-​periodontist to the rescue! I found him thru my insurance in-​network provider list and rolled the dice. I knew nothing about him. He was able to diagnose me on my first visit and prescribed something that has made my gums 90% better. If you have problem gums, gum disease/​periodontal disease, Dr. Peto is the one to go to. He’s young and up to date on all the latest technology. He’s very thorough and even made a follow-​up call after my first visit to check on me. Who does that nowadays?!
