Inessa Grinberg, MD PhD

Dr. Inessa is the best! On top of being a brilliant pediatrician, she is amazing with our daughter (now 1) and me and my husband as first-​time parents. She takes the time to understand our concerns and thoroughly answers our questions with her knowledge as a both doctor and a mother. I feel that she truly cares about us as a family and am beyond thrilled that we found her. I highly highly recommend Dr. Inessa to anyone looking for a pediatrician– meet her once and you’ll know what I’m talking about. I’d give her 10 stars if I could :)
And I have to give a shout out to the entire office of nurses and staff — they are awesome! Excellent at their job, super friendly and helpful beyond expectation (when I forgot to put money in the meter they did it for me to make sure I didn’t get a ticket– how cool is that!)

Dr. Inessa Grinberg is amazing as is the entire staff here. I am so glad we chose her as our pediatrician. Everyone here is kind and patient and caring. The nurses are extremely good at their jobs. The doctors are all fantastic and make themselves available to their clientele. Especially in the beginning when we were totally freaked out having our new baby at home, Dr. Grinberg was so patient and caring. The parking in the building is pricey but I never have issues finding street parking. I am very happy and feel we are in very good hands!

There is not enough praise we can give for Dr. Inessa. Aside from being a medical, pediatric genius, she is the most compassionate, patient, and intuitive doctor. She cares for our son so beautifully. Truly, she cares for our entire family in the way she approaches our questions, concerns, and vulnerabilities. We trust Dr. Inessa implicitly and know that her sound medical judgement, coupled with her ability to empathize with us as parents is EXACTLY the recipe for the perfect pediatrician. We feel incredibly lucky that we found her and would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Having her in our life and in our corner is a gift!

From the moment we met Dr Inessa at the hospital, we felt at ease. She was the attending physician from her practice when our dear little Luna arrived and we immediately fell in love. What drew us in was her patience and warmth. Of course being new parents there are so many fears and you only want the very best for your new little bundle and Dr Inessa was that for us. We knew we landed a great one. She is always so patient and thorough. Never do you feel rushed and every question is heard. She also has such a calm about her. And the best part, you don’t just feel like she’s a doctor probing at your baby doing routine check ups… She really cares about her patients. She shows love in her work… What more could parents want for their child. Thank you, Dr! Heaven sent!

If there were ten stars, Dr Inessa would get them all. We interviewed several pediatricians, and since we live in the area surrounding Cedars Sinai, we had our pick of the litter. And we are so entirely grateful to have found Dr Inessa. She is incredibly smart but at the same time is completely relatable and approachable. My husband and I had a rough start to parenthood, leaving us feeling a insecure in our parenting abilities. Dr Inessa kindly guided us through it all, from real medical emergencies to more the more banal sleeping and eating concerns. She made herself accessible and welcomed every question with genuine empathy and concern. And the office staff is top notch, too. They call to follow-​up and have helped us schedule every single specialist appointment. Really, the entire experience has far exceeded our expectations!

We are beyond thrilled to have found Dr Inessa for our 2 children. After feeling neglected by our now former pediatrician during a medical emergency with our son, we were referred to Beverly Hills Pediatrics by several trusted friends (who have children with special medical needs). Dr Inessa is kind, thorough, thoughtful, dedicated and truly cares about finding solutions to medical issues. She’s also an expert in genetics.
Doctors are only as good as they are when put to the test of a true medical emergency or mystery. Dr Inessa not only rose to the occasion but spent time researching and exploring possibilities for our son’s illness.
She returns calls promptly and makes us feel like we’re her #1 priority. Appointments are readily available, her practice runs on time, the staff is friendly and kind too. What more can I say? We are fortunate to have our children under her care. And the after hours care is icing on the cake!

I interviewed several Pediatricians in BH and tried out two that I ended up leaving for various reasons (too busy, felt too rushed, had their face in a computer the whole time, too much turnaround with staff/​nurses and/​or I felt like my kid was just a number…). I found Dr Inessa thru word of mouth and feel like I struck gold!
Dr Inessa is incredibly SMART, friendly, patient, warm and gives you her full attention. She does not make you feel rushed, addresses all questions calmly and caringly, and responds to emails!
The staff at BH Pediatrics remembers your name and child’s names when you walk in, are available whenever you call (without long hold times) and look like they are very happy to be at work. The nurses are very friendly and also remember your name when you walk in!
Her office charges an admin fee which may be a deterrent for many people but once you experience the convenience of having medical support 7 days a week (office is open Sat&Sun) along with really amazing customer service and positive/​calm energy leaving you with a smile when you leave BH Pediatrics, it is well worth it.
Dr Inessa is a true gem!

Inessa is amazing! She is friendly, caring, honest and always takes the time to answer questions. We always come in with a list and every concern and question is answered:). We’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes and she always returns our calls. Both of our kids are comfortable with her which says a lot.

As a healthcare provider myself, I am extremely picky on choosing my kids’ pediatrician. I am so glad I found Dr Inessa, she is so knowledgeable and caring, and most importantly a very calming personality which is necessary when treating uncooperative kids. My kids are super shy with people but I can see that they always feel very comfortable with Dr Inessa’s checkups.
As for a healthcare provider who owns a practice, her office is top-​notch with super friendly staffs. Easy check-​in and check-​out. The office also offers after-​hour and weekends emergency appointments which is so helpful because kids don’t get sick only from Mondays to Fridays!!!
Can’t wait to bring my kids back to see Dr Inessa!!!

Dr. Inessa is by far the BEST Pediatrician out there! We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring doctor. The staff are also super warm and fuzzy-​perfect environment for my son!

I don’t know what I would do without Dr. Inessa! She is the most amazing, caring, professional, well knowledgable pediatrician I have ever met. We adore her as parents but our children love seeing her and feel comfortable talking with her. She is always available to talk to us and listen to our concerns. When you call the office to speak with her, you always get a call back within 15 mins or less. She makes the time for her patients. My youngest child has a rare blood disease and Dr. Inessa has help us get through her attacks, helped us get an emergency plan in place and seek out the best treatment options for her. She always goes the extra step for her patients. She is one of a kind !!! I highly recommend Dr. Inessa. We love her.

My older son has been a patient of Dr. Inessa for the past two years and we all absolutely LOVE her! She is such a great, caring, competent doctor and takes the time to listen and really answer all of our questions. We never feel rushed during our appointments. She has been so great with our son and we are excited to have her as our doctor for our new baby. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

I can’t even begin to describe how lucky we are to have found Dr Innessa. From the moment we met her, we felt so comfortable and at ease. She started seeing us when my son was 2months old. Throughout the years (he is 3.5 now) Dr Innessa has always been there for us providing the best medical advice, supportive care and peace of mind. Now with the addition of another little one, we knew we are in such wonderful hands! I can’t tell you how many late night calls and last minute appointments we’ve had with Dr Innessa helping us through it! I can be a little panicky at times and she has always remained calm, providing medically sound advice and care. I could go on and on! She is truly wonderful, caring, thoughtful, really knowledgeable and treats our kids as her own. Would highly recommend her (as if you can’t already tell by my review)!

I love, love, love Dr. Inessa. We met Dr. Inessa when we brought in our newborn at 2 weeks and couldn’t get an appointment with Dr. Raker. We were a mess– hadn’t slept, hadn’t eaten and our baby was fussy and miserable. Dr. Inessa hugged all of us, calmed us down and told us we weren’t crazy. She reassured us that our baby was, in fact, super fussy. She gave us tips, tricks, and made us laugh. We’ve seen Dr. Inessa many times since, and she is so patient, but best of all, practical and realistic. And when it became clear our baby was colicy and had acid reflux, she told us stories of her colicy baby, how he got better and was then the happiest baby. As I cried to her with my crying baby in my arms, she looked me in the eye and said, «I promise, this will stop. I’ve been there.» She was right. She’s the best, and I couldn’t recommend her more!

We are so fortunate to have found Dr. Inessa! My little one was dropping too much weight after birth that we were advised to take her to the doctor immediately. In my fragile state, only 3 days post partum, Inessa was the perfect mixture of caring, reassuring and professional. Her care is patient driven and the first time I met her, I felt like my daughter’s needs and my own as a new mom were being considered in partnership with her expertise, which was a very empowering experience.
Since then, she’s been a wonderful ally always encouraging us to call and making us feel that our questions are valid. She always takes her time during our visits and is incredibly thorough.
In addition, her office staff and the other doctors she works with in her practice are all amazing and dedicated professionals.

I cannot express how fortunate we are to be under Dr. Inessa’s care. From the first moment we met Dr. Inessa, we were vastly impressed by her aptitude, as well as genuine care, and warmth. As first time parents, we were insecure and overwhelmed, especially as our daughter was born very small. During each visit, as well as after hours, Dr. Inessa always took the time to explain, reassure, validate and provide helpful suggestions. It is obvious that Dr. Inessa loves children, and she is absolutely brilliant in her approach to children as well as to parents.
Dr. Inessa’s professional knowledge and skills, coupled with her experiences as a parent make her an extraordinary pediatrician.

Dr Inessa is truly amazing. We moved to Los Angeles from Chicago and were so worried about finding a great pediatrician for our 6 month old baby girl. We needed to see a pediatrician during our first week in Los Angeles and immediately felt at home with Dr. Inessa. She is so warm and kind and our daughter loves her. Anytime we need to get in, she accommodates us and is very thorough with her appointments. She is patient with all our first-​time parent questions and immediately eases any concerns we have. We are so grateful to have found such an amazing doctor in our new home. We look forward to our check ups with Dr. Inessa and would recommend her to anyone.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Inessa. After our baby was born 14 weeks prematurely and spending over 3 months in the NICU, Dr. Inessa came highly recommended by a doctor working in the PICU. We couldn’t be happier. Dr. Inessa is extremely intelligent and explains complex issues in an easy to follow manner. She takes as much time as we need during each visit and is never rushed to get to her next patient. She perfectly balances vital medical information with practical advice.
Beverly Hills Pediatrics is as wonderful as Dr. Inessa. The nurses have worked diligently with us and the insurance company to make sure our baby has every medication she needs. The front desk staff is always attentive and friendly. We deeply appreciate the separate «Well» and «Not So Well» entrances, lobbies and exam rooms. We are also grateful that only fully immunized children are accepted as patients, as we know our baby won’t get sick at the doctor’s office.
We could go on and on praising Dr. Inessa and her office. The bottom line is that we absolutely would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Inessa to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

We traveled far and searched for many years to find a doctor like Dr. Inessa, and it has paid off tremendously. Before moving to the Los Angeles area, we lived with our three kids in a small mountain town in Colorado, where we would often drive 4 hours through snow and ice just to be seen by an experienced, up-​to-​date «city» doctor for even the most minor of issues. I dreamed of living in a place where medical professionals were easily accessible and offered the most cutting edge care… but in my imagination I could never have envisioned a pediatrician as brilliant, dynamic, intuitive, knowledgable, likable and caring as Dr. Inessa turned out to be. She came highly recommended to us by other parents at the kids’ new school, and I ended up re-​doing all three kids’ annual checkups with her almost immediately upon our move to Los Angeles.
Our oldest child is ten years old, and never before had I witnessed a physical exam like the one Inessa administered. I was astounded by the depth and thoroughness of her questions and by her laser-​like focus on seemingly unimportant details that gave her clues as to the kids’ well-​being. Her ability to hone in on my seven-year-old’s vague description of chronic chest pains, which Dr. Inessa was the first to diagnose accurately, was nothing short of uncanny. I joked with my husband that she is like a «savant of pediatrics.»
After hours, Inessa continues to pour herself into her work; I have even received late-​night emails from her after she happened to be reviewing the kids’ charts and saw something missing from the boys’ vaccination history, which we immediately corrected. Based on these and all of our previous experiences with all types of medical professionals, I can sleep at night knowing that nothing will slip past Dr. Inessa.
Finally, I just want to add that because of my parents’ professions, I grew up around scientists, doctors and mathematicians, and it is clear from the moment you meet her that Dr. Inessa is nothing short of a true genius. She is genuinely meant to hold the lives of children in her hands, and she carries this grave responsibility with the passion, intelligence and soul of a great human being. The best thing we can do is to follow our instincts, which in this case led us to the best of the best.

I really can’t say this enough… but it is HARD to find doctors these days with excellent bedside manners AND great diagnostic/​medical skills! Hence, we feel extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Inessa and Beverly Hills Pediatrics to care for our first baby.
Dr. Inessa is a mommy herself, full of energy, easy to access (email, phone, etc), straightforward, kind, and most importantly, a crazy smart doctor (hello MD + PHD in genetics…). But seriously, the lady knows her stuff. My husband and I both feel extremely confident in her care of our little one. She recently changed from part-​time to full-​time in the practice so she is now accepting new patients. We feel blessed to have snagged her before word gets out into the LA community.
I was a RN for 12 years before a career change so I know first-​hand that LA is filled with TONS of doctors and quite frankly, there are plenty of crappy ones out there (many crappy docs can have great bedside manners, but lack knowledge of current trends/​research in their field and/​or are just not good practitioners). I did a ton of research in picking a pediatrician for our kiddo, and I must admit that all 3 doctors in this practice are fantastic. It was honestly hard to pick just one, because I would gladly recommend any one of them to a friend.
The practice itself feels intimate and personal. They are respectful of your time (I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen). The rooms are exceptionally clean, there are healthy and sick kid entrances AND best of all, they have Saturday AND Sunday hours for sick kid visits. This is INCREDIBLY helpful for working peeps with busy schedules who do not want to go to an urgent care and sit for 4 hours. The front desk staff and nurses are all extremely friendly, happy, and appear to actually LOVE their jobs (this is honestly RARE in healthcare today). The only real con is the price for parking in the garage is a bit steep (but there are usually parking meters open a short walk away).
Ok…enough of my long review… but if you are in the «market» for a kid’s doctor… I highly recommend checking out Dr. Inessa or her partners (Dr. Cohen and Dr. Raker). You will not have to look any further.
