Dr. Orringer is quite simply the best, and I am beyond grateful that he performed my breast augmentation. I’ll start by saying I’m in medical device sales, so I spend my days in the OR watching surgeons operate. I see what happens when patients are put to sleep, and it made me extremely apprehensive about getting surgery (no matter how small the procedure). I had always wanted implants, so when I made the decision to get the surgery I was determined to find the best. I work at Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills and St. Johns in Santa Monica often and started asking OR staff about plastic surgeons (anesthesiologists, OR nurses, surgeons etc.) I was initially referred to Dr. O by another plastic surgeon who told me he had several patients who were extremely happy with Dr. O’s work. When I asked people who had seen Dr. O operate I was consistently told he was a perfectionist, and took his time with every single patient. In the world of plastic surgery this is huge. I knew his name was well known due to the fact that he operated on Angeline Jolie, however, that had little to do with why I chose him. Everyone had nothing to say but positive things about him. I went to other consultations, however, one minute into meeting Dr. O I was sure I wanted him to perform my surgery. He spent over an hour talking about expectations, goals, sizes, and more. I told him that I wanted a natural look, and that I trusted him to ultimately make the best decision intraoperatively. I wanted the surgery ASAP and his wonderful office staff got me a time within the month. Dr. O made me feel like I was his most important patient from the second I met him on. I could tell he cared about me and my outcome immensely. The surgery went extremely well and I woke up with only a tiny bruise and minimal swelling. The results are INCREDIBLE!!! He did a phenomenal job. A week after my surgery my friends were already saying they were the best breast implants they had ever seen. It as now been 6 months, and they have settled and look phenomenal. They are 2 sizes larger than before, however, they are perfectly proportionate to my body. They look and feel extremely natural. Dr. O is an incredibly talented surgeon and a wonderful human being, he is the best there is.

Dr Orringer did my breast lift and reconstruction after a double mastectomy. I can’t even find the words to express my gratitude to him and his entire staff. He is the most talented and also the most caring Dr. I’ve ever met. My breasts look amazing! The entire experience was so positive, and I felt nurtured and loved through the entire process. I was diagnosed with Stage 2A breast cancer and went through 5 months of chemo, 35 rounds of radiation, and 3 surgeries. Dr. Orringer performed my expansion after the double mastectomy, a wound surgery in order to get me ready for radiation, and reconstruction. He and his office staff helped make a stressful, scary situation as bearable as it could possibly be. He’s attentive, caring, sympathetic and treats his patients like friends/​family. He went above and beyond in his attention to detail and care — not only in his surgeries but all of his interactions with me and my family/​friends. He is always responsive and available for questions and concerns. I always felt so cared for and I never felt like just another patient — I truly felt like Dr. Orringer had a vested interest in me personally. His office — Ana Marie, Padi, and Tory — were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process whether it was dealing with scheduling, insurance, or any issue that I needed help with. I could not be more grateful for being lucky enough to have Dr. Orringer as my doctor!

I had a breast reduction surgery by Dr. Orringer several months ago. I went from a size G to a size D. I lost 4.5 lbs in the surgery. The recuperation was almost painless. I feel so free. My upper back doesn’t hurt anymore and I can actually find shirts that fit.
Dr. Orringer is a wonderful surgeon and human being. M breasts are symmetrical and just the right size. He did all the stitching himself. In addition he called me several times to see how I was feeling. For those old enough to remember, he reminds me of Dr. Marcus Welby.

I watched my beautiful 26 year old daughter suffer through her cancer diagnosis, double mastectomy surgery as well as other surgeries, and treatments for the breast cancer and for Hodgkins Lymphoma. The entire situation was gut wrenching and heartbreaking. I thank G*D that she is cancer free today!!!
What made my daughter’s terrifying and painful experience more palatable, (and for me too), was the unending positive attitude of her amazingly gifted breast reconstruction surgeon, Dr. Jay Orringer.

I came to Dr Orringer after having had a breast reduction & lift done by another Beverly Hills plastic surgeon. The first surgery left my left breast with a 2 inch hole in it & half an areola. That first visit with Dr. Orringer he told me that I had to wait 3 to 4 months, I had to give the damaged breast time to heal. I should mention that about a quarter of that breast was rock hard with scar tissue. He also cautioned that the best that he could do was about an 80% improvement. When you haven’t been able to look at your own body in the mirror for 6 months that sounded very good. I waited three months & went back — we schedule the surgery for the following month. I have to stop at this point & explain that I am not 20 or 30 years old & wasn’t a model to begin with just a women who had always taken very good care of herself & now at this point in my life wanted to improve my breasts. That’s what made this terrible situation worse — I didn’t have a disease, I wasn’t in an accident & in all honesty my breasts were not that terrible — I had done this nightmare to myself & had no one else to blame. I spent 9 months blaming myself & at the same time feeling like a victim of the first surgeon’s work. It was a horrible experience. Fast forward to today — 1 week & 1 day after my surgery with Dr. Orringer — I now can’t stop looking at my body & the only thing he got wrong was that it wasn’t an 80% improvement it was a 180% improvement in both breasts! If you are reading this «review» you have found the right doctor, there is no one better as a surgeon, or more decent as a human being than Dr. Jay Orringer!

Dr Orringer is the BEST plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. He has an amazing office staff. I got the exact results I wanted. I only saw him and NO need to honestly see anyone else. Worth every dollar. His mannerism was soothing, honest, and he made sure all my concerns were answered. Never rushed me, office always was available to answer any questions that I may have forgotten to ask. I am SO thrilled with my results & this was my first surgery that I didn’t experience vomiting and he has such a great presence that he makes sure you feel very comfortable even when your nervous. Hands down VERY positive experience. LOVE my results. Love him & office. VERY happy patient.

How can you thank somebody for making you feel beautiful again after a long, hard road of cancer surgeries, mastectomy and living constantly with a mutilated body? Dr. Orringer is simply the best doctor I’ve ever known and I’m so incredibly grateful that I was referred to him by my former doctor in San Jose. «Thank you» is simply not adequate, but I want to write this review so the world will know what an amazing, kind, caring and brilliant man Dr. Jay Orringer, MD truly is. I’ve experienced many doctors and I’ve never met a nicer person than Dr. Orringer. His staff is so loving, you feel like part of the family as soon as you arrive. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon and artist as well! Dr. Orringer & Dr. Granzow (micro-​surgeon) performed a DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction for me in May. This is where they take a flap of skin and fat with an artery from the abdomen, then attach it to the chest wall after a mastectomy to make a new breast. It was an 11-​hour surgery and a 4 day hospital stay.
I couldn’t be more happy with my new breast and flat tummy! I’m only 3 weeks post surgery and I’m healing great. I will need a second surgery for sculpting and symmetry in a few months, but Dr. Orringer has explained everything along the way, so I didn’t have any surprises. He takes amazing care to make sure you don’t get avoidable problem like infections. I wish other doctors I had in the past showed this kind of care and were as careful. He calls his patients on the weekends to make sure you’re ok. He comes to the hospital everyday to check on patients and of course he is beloved by all the nurses, so you get great care from them as well! A DIEP Flap is a daunting major surgery and I was scared, but I’m so glad I trusted Dr. Orringer and his partner micro surgeon Dr. Granzow! I trust him with my life!

Dr. Jay Orringer is the physician to go to if you want amazing results and unbelievable care. Dr. Orringer is by far the most amazing surgeon, the most compassionate man, and above all, one of my life saviors. He helped make me feel whole again after being diagnosed with two separate breast cancers and hodgkin’s lymphoma. Dr. O (as I call him), was the first doctor I actually believed in when he told me that I will get through this horrible roadblock in life at 27 years old. After my first meet with him, I canceled all other plastic surgeon appointments/​interviews I had lined up because I knew Dr. O the one I wanted. He went above and beyond to tell me that I could call him any day, any time, for any reason if I needed/​wanted him. He made multiple calls to me and my family to check in on how my recovery was coming along after my double mastectomy, debridement of skin, my entire way through chemotherapy, and continues. Dr. O is also the reason I was able to find my amazing oncologist as well (my previous one lacked in compassion and didn’t research my specific needs).
I continue to look forward to my appointments with Dr. O because he gave me hope and reassurance that I would survive 3 cancers even though the odds sounded like they were completely against me. I was admitted into the hospital a few times during my journey and every time he called to check in with me, sometimes brought me breakfast or smoothies in the morning, and made sure he was connected with all my treatment plans with multiple doctors.
Dr. O has now completed my final reconstruction phase of my breast cancer journey and he has done an amazing job with choosing the correct implants for my body, my scaring is minimal, and I am finally able to love my body again. Dr. O is now considered part of my family unit and I have an endless amount of love and gratitude for him. And, I am overjoyed to share with him my amazing recovery into remission of all 3 cancers while having a new and improved chest!

Dr. Orringer performed a breast augmentation on my 17 years ago. He did an exceptional job and I have been completely satisfied with my results. Two weeks ago I had an unexpected deflation of one of my implants and immediately called the office to see when he could see me. Mind you, we had not seen each other in at least 16 years (since my surgery was a complete success). The office immediately accommodated my request and when I arrived for my appointment, was welcoming and made me feel like family.
Dr. Orringer’s bedside manner is exceptional and he is an absolute master at his trade. I have my revision a week ago today and have been so pleased with the results and the services provided to me. I have had several post op appointments and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
He (and his staff) are kind, compassionate and provide a level of service that is rare these days. I want to give a HUGE shout out and recognize the wonderful nature, expertise and overall superb experience that they have provided me!

I wish there were more stars, and I wish there were honorifics enough in the English language to adequately endorse this marvelously talented surgeon and utter sweetheart of a man, who got me through breast reconstruction after a double mastectomy with all kinds of complications, yet– created an end result so beautiful, people ask me if I ever even really had cancer. (Uh huh. Sure did.)
Having non-​elective plastic surgery is a place one never wishes to be. It is mentally, physically, emotionally and psychologically grueling. Very few people can relate, and the process itself is intrinsically alienating. However I always felt better the moment I walked through the door of his office– from Ana Marie, Padi and Tory up front, who are amazingly warm and caring human beings I feel lucky to have on my team, to the unparalleled care and time spent from Dr. Orringer, who never runs out of time to answer questions or discuss concerns or consider issues from alternate angles, and is so thoughtful and patient and genuinely concerned, I truly felt like family rather than a cluster of symptoms with a medical chart. The level of care is simply extraordinary– his concern doesn’t stop with his own realm of healing in his own area of expertise… he also makes sure care is consistent across the board by personally calling other specialists such as hematologists, anesthesiologists, neurologists, etc as necessary– and when I visited any single one of these other physicians, they knew I was one of his patients, and treated me as though I were royalty.
I knew I would get through cancer and all the aftermath of tissue expander recon because thanks to Dr. Orringer and his office, I didn’t have one doctor of any type on my team who was anything less than an A-​player. I could not be more grateful, or have more confidence in his ability. I recommend this supremely skilled surgeon and his practice with all my heart. I promise you, you will absolutely love him and his office, and know you’re in the world’s best hands. 5 stars x infinity!

DR Orringer wow what a amazing Doctor he is simply the best there is no words to describe how amazing he is, he puts all is love, kindness and energy into his work every patient is special he takes his time and is very honest, his work is a masterpiece. after 5 breast surgery from other doctors in beverly hills i lost hope to have my breast fix from something called symmestia created during implant replacement by another beverly hills doctor i tried 3 different doctor they couldn’t fix it… then came Dr orringer and is magical hands it was fixed i am so happy and gratefull how amazing he is Godbless him… is stuff annamarie, Patty and troy are so amazing and sweet this office is great energy there is no attitude there only kindness… highly recommend it and i love my new friends so does my husband lucky guy

I’ve gotten to know Dr. Orringer well over the last year+ battling breast cancer and I’ve honestly never met a more brilliant surgeon or a more caring human being. He worked tirelessly on my behalf through a double mastectomy, expansion and reconstruction. It is clear to me that he absolutely loves his patients and that he loves what he does. You can’t work that hard and not love what you do. I’m three weeks out from breast reconstruction and you can already see that his work is amazing. He’s an artist who treats on his patients like they were his own children – that’s how much he cares when you’re in his hands.
We’ve been through positive outcomes where he has celebrated alongside my family, and we’ve had to navigate through scares where my body had reactions no one could have predicted – and through it all, no matter the hour of day or night (literally Friday night at 8 PM he met me for an urgent appointment, he’s seen me on weekends, even Father’s Day!), he was there… so responsive, so deeply concerned and thoughtful in every situation.
I know that I could not have a better doctor or a better outcome. Both my husband and I think he is simply the best doctor in the world and I’ve been so grateful to be in his skilled hands.

I met Dr. Jay Orringer in 2005. I had huge scars behind my ears. I visited many doctors but nobody was interested to do surgery like this to remove these scars.
Dr. Orringer looked at my problem and told me that he will take care of me.
Dr. Orringer is amazing Doctor, real artist, very compassionate and such a Gentle man.
I cannot describe my experience of love and support and care from Dr. Orringer and his staff.
Dr. Orringer continue to treat me for a few years after the surgery since my body produced keloids. He is not ego driven, very modest, his biggest concern is his patients.
Now my scars disappeared after a long treatment in his office. I would only go to Dr. Orringer for any need I have.

Throughout a physically and emotionally difficult medical journey, Dr. Orringer’s office was my safe haven.
