I cannot recommend this law firm enough. James Silverstein is a brilliant lawyer, the toughest negotiator, and the most client-​focused professional I have ever met. He went above and beyond for me more than once. I would not trust my cases with anyone other than this man. He is the best attorney I’ve ever met, and his other clients will attest to that as well. When we were in court with my co-​defendants and their attorneys, Mr. Silverstein was clearly more competent and experienced than the other defendants’ attorneys. I could tell that my co-​defendants wished that Mr. Silverstein was representing them instead of their own lawyers (who seemed inexperienced by comparison). First off, I am the type of guy that has trouble trusting anyone that wants my money, not to mention lawyers in general. I had gotten my second dui for marijuana. I did some searches and phone calls and was most impressed with Mr. Silverstein when I spoke to him on the phone. He doesnt give off the sleezeball vibe most lawyers will give off within the first ten seconds of meeting them. Mr Silverstein had a very professional phone presence. I ended up speaking with him in his office. Face to face you can tell he is very serious and attentive to all my questions. He made no outrageous promises and worked with us financially. He was NEVER pushy about money. His has a very serious and professional demeanor which im sure impresses anybody he speaks with at any courthouse. He WILL take your case seriously and do his research and use any resource he may have to help your case. He has resources that he used on my case that dealt with my dui involving marijuana. I ended up getting no jailtime with an alcohol program, a wet reckless[which i was already on but he managed to get me on this again, the lady at the alcohol program i applied to was shocked because this never happens], and some community labor. considering this was my second dui and I was ALREADY on probation this is an amazing result. I HIGHLY recommend you at least have a meeting with Mr. Silverstein before going to some sleezeball lawyers office who just wants money and makes false promises. When you hire Mr Silverstein there is no doubt he will be fighting for your case and working for you diligently. I like to think I have good character judgement. I went with my gut, and it worked.

I am BEYOND relieved to have used James Silverstein. I had an unpaid cell phone ticket turn into a failure to appear/​driving on a suspended/​without proof of insurance. Needless to say, I was horrified.
James and his staff were so friendly and efficient. I still have yet to meet any of them to thank them in-​person. They managed to reinstate my license, remove it from my record, reduce the fines from over $ 2,000 down to $ 120. AND! I never had to appear in court!

My brother and I retained James Silverstein after referral from a long time friend who had retained James for his own case. As soon as we entered his office, a sense of peace came over us. James does not treat you as other high profile firms might. He is personal, personable and really puts you at ease. Moreover, he was very aggressive with our case and we were able to receive the judgment that we hoped for, and James was there to guide us and counsel us through the entire process.
