It’s soooooo hard to find a barber shop anymore that can do a proper fade… I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been sitting in the chair perspiring knowing how BAD it’s gonna be.
Marlene just opened a new shop on the second floor on South Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills and you gotta go if you want the best haircut you ever had. I understand she’s been in the neighborhood for years at another salon and decided to go out on her own…
Meticulously clean. Marlene is great to talk to so that’s an added bonus.

When I first moved here I started looking for a barber to call my own. My hair is naturally curvy, wavy, and a difficult challenge for most hair cutters (SuperCuts, you butchers!) I eventually stumbled onto Marlene’s and am forever grateful to Unilocal for bringing us together.

I should know, I’ve been seeing her for over four years now and couldn’t be happier. Both with my self image and my barber/​friend. If you want an amazing cut and an amazing barber like the kind you see on tv, Marlene is the one for you.

Marlene was fantastic, I went in for the first time and left very happy. My haircut looks great, and I will definitely be back. The environment wasnt great, as a mens hair designer I think her spot could be a little manlier, but she made up for it with her personality.

Marlene does a great job with my long hair. Lots of other cuts I have gotten need a week or so to settle down and look good, but her’s look great right away. Price isn’t really out of line considering the 90 210 location, and I make the schelp over from the Valley for Marlene. Easy and cheap parking on the city deck out back, too.

I finally went to Marlene after too many years of cheap haircuts. Sidebar– Why do we guys drop so much bank into our cars, but haircuts, we cut corners? No idea.
Anyway, I finally caved and am glad I did. I found Marlene via Unilocal and the experience definitely lived up to others’ experiences. It’s a nice hour to just chill and put yourself into Marlene’s capable hands, but you’ll also come out looking a lot better than when you walked in!
Oh and get this, I even had to call early on the morning of my original appointment to reschedule by a day due to unforseen work issues that came up, and she was completely accomodating– and this is without having met me yet!
Just go into the Tina Cassaday Salon’s front door, take the stairs you’ll see as you walk in up to the loft and you’re there.
Great experience and i’ll definitely be going back. (But i’m still putting a new $ 2k exhaust system on my car.)

Six months ago, my regular barber retired after 53 years of service. I had a hard time finding a suitable replacement until I met Marlene.
She is a full-​service barber who now shaves me every Saturday afternoon and cuts my hair every other week. I find her to be very professional and personable – two good qualities when she is holding a straight-​edge razor to my neck.
