Multipoint Network – Beverly Hills

We were looking for a new IT consultant, computer repair company (not just one guy), to maintain our computer systems in Beverly Hills because our past company was not getting the job done in many ways. We decided to call a number of companies to give us an estimate for a service contract. Multipoint came out and did an amazing free computer assessment of our network to begin with (they found a bunch of alarming issues we had with our backups and server). By the way other company’s wanted to charge us for the assessment. The IT consultants at Multipoint are great and impressed us with their comprehensive approach to servicing and maintaining our computer systems for one low price per month. They have not just been extremely responsive, they also fix our issues quickly, allowing our employee’s to get back to work fast. Whatever the repair is, whether it be network related or just a software question these guys are the best IT consultants and I would recommend them to anyone!

Thank God for Multipoint’s Help!
My hard drive was taking a dive I feared. Multipoint helped me find out that my hard drive was still under warranty (instead of charging me for a new one) and they picked up my computer once the hard drive from the manufacturer was received. I was impressed since I’m so far from their office but they didn’t charge me any travel fees to pickup. Plus when they picked up the computer they carefully removed all the cables (so they could remember when they returned with the finished computer what was plugged in before).
My computer didn’t come with reinstall disks but the key information was on the top of the computer. Multipoint techs worked it out and reinstalled the operating system as well as other programs and set up my complicated email system to install the saved emails/​archives. I was very lucky that Multipoint was able to copy some extremely important files and all my email archives off of the failing drive (hard to do when it is constantly failing) and then transfer everything to my new hard drive once it was installed. After lots of testing and updating they delivered the computer back to me, hooked everything up and waited till the computer was up and running and explained where everything was placed (archives, emails, files) so that i could get to work immediately.

The experience I had with Multipoint is one I hope never to have to endure again with any business, in any industry.
After having dropped my computer off for being repaired at the Beverly Hills location I underwent three and a half weeks of being lied to, neglected, and told everything was in motion each time I inquired to the state of my computer. Most times I was told the computer would be ready just as soon as the parts came in, «today or tomorrow.» If it didn’t come in today or tomorrow, the boy (whose name I am purposely not shaming) blamed the parts on being sent late in the mail.
At the end of nearly a month of being strung along in this way I finally called the hardware store directly (spoke to the lovely manager Jeff, whose review is above) and learned that not only had nothing been done on my computer, but the man I dropped it off with had left town, and that the entire computer needed to be replaced.
I have never had to call a Consumer Affairs Department until my experience with MPN, and sincerely hope never to have to again. I received no apology from anyone on behalf of Multipoint. Although no money exchanged hands, the opportunity cost of not having a computer for a month, for me, was astronomical.

My computer had a nasty virus and their tech spent a full day cleaning up my machine– restoring my data and charged me less than $ 150.00
They were conveniently located in Beverly Hills– they also make house calls.
