I took my boyfriend in to see Dr. Levy one time as it was an urgent situation and we couldn’t get in to see his regular doctor. Dr. Levy asked us many of the same questions over and over as though he had never asked us before. At the end of the appointment he took our $ 275 and shook my hand and told me he could help my boyfriend. The next day I called Dr. Levy to discuss what had occurred that night after the visit, and he told me that he could not help us and that my boyfriend (his patient of one visit) belonged in jail. That night after hearing Dr. Levy’s comments, my boyfriend (the patient) tried to hurt himself for the first time in his 8 year long battle with mental illness. I called Dr. Levy the very next day again to tell him that we were going to cancel our next appointment since he had told us those things. Dr. Norman B. Levy then ferociously claimed that he never said those things to me at all! My guess is he is senile, as he is extremely old, or he doesn’t want to take responsibility for his actions and words. Basically this doctor almost killed someone, then didn’t remember making the comments that he did to make the patient react in this way. He is a true danger to society.
