I re-​up on my The Lady and the Sailor basics 2x per year. I’ll usually take a drive up to the store in the summer and I’ll buy online in the winter. My wardrobe depends on their incredibly well-​made basics. I’ve been pushing my local Nordstrom to pick up the line, but no dice.
I recommend the brand clothing 1000x over!

One of my favorites. Addicted to their tee’s and tanks which are always the perfect fits and so soft! I never would have known I could need or want so many tee shirts, but they make them irresistible. Store is so pretty I just love hanging out there :)

Bought many items from this store over the years including several of their own label t-​shirts, which were not cheap (I think close to $ 100). The cloth ended up being of terrible quality and the shirts basically disintegrated and became unwearable after a couple of months. When I called to lodge a complaint, instead of taking care of it in a way that would help customer satisfaction, I was told that others complained about this too and was merely offered a 10% discount on other shirts which were «supposedly» better quality material. In a time where we can be discriminating where we can do business, I am puzzled that a store would care so little about their clients. Will not shop here anymore — other stores offer far better customer service, more of a selection and better prices.

I have not gone to the actual store, but I picked up some of their shirts from a sale. I looked online to see how much the clothes go for originally and they are expensive. After having my shirts, I have realized how high quality all the materials are though. The cotton and linen don’t peel like those cheap $ 10 tshirts. The way the shirts drape over you is also magical. My boy friend loves my white simple long sleeve crew necks from here. The shirts hug your body in the right places and just feel like silk on your skin. Also, everything is made in the USA! I would give this store a shot if i was nearby or online. The have never had such nice casual shirts.
