Cold Subs on that good. Steak tips and roast beef for a lot better I reckon than them over the cold Subs

This place has become our new spot over Nicks. But they also sell pizza, subs, and other items. New favorite is the Steak and Cheese with Mushroom(better than Super Sub) This place is good

Today was a supremely disappointing experience at mikeys roast beef. Ive lived in Ryal Side my entire life and have loved this place. Best roast beef, great chicken kabobs, amazing cheeseburgers-BUT the chicken broccoli ziti and garlic bread are AWFUL. My past is over cooked and burnt, the grilled chicken tastes like it came off a kabob salad, and my garlic bread is flat, cold, and rubbery. There is no garlic or olive on the pasta. I would not recommend this dish to anyone it is so bad. I paid $ 11 to eat broccoli and chicken for lunch today. No bueno!

Short review: –Awesome and delicious freshly prepared food. –Several registers to provide quick service with an always friendly employee behind them. –Have gone 4 times within the last couple months and every single time was a 5 star experience! The long version!!: My fiancé was introduced to Mike’s by a co-worker right before the holiday season. The co-worker shared the Greek salad with steak tips and she was hooked immediately. We had Mike’s together soon after so she could rope me in as well. The Greek salad is huge with a great portion of freshly prepared steak on top. The house dressing is the way to go and what’s awesome is they also provide you a pita bread free of charge. Quickly it seemed every other day we were craving something from Mike’s. I’ve tried the salad and the regular roast beef so far(the salad keeps bringing back) and both were really delicious. I can’t wait to try a cold sub as I’ve seen then prepared and they look awesome. The food really is high quality and the place itself has tons of seating. As you walk in there is a big variety of chips and drinks to choose from as well. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular here!

Roast beef is very good and the onion rings are fresh some of the best around. Pizza is very bland, calzones follow suit. 2 star rating is directed at the service. It seems that if they are trying to juggle more than a couple orders at a time the wheels fall off. Check your order before you leave! They also charge you to use your debit card under $ 10. Joke is on them call your credit card company and let them know about this and they will charge back the full order! It is against all credit card companies policy’s for them to do this and if enough people report it they will be suspended.

This place is just OKAY. The roast beef is good but that’s about it. We ordered a bacon pizza well done, a wrap and a salad — when we got the pizza it was not well done at all and there was about one dime size piece of bacon on each slice… Seemed cheap on purpose because it was basically a cheese pizza we paid extra for. Wrap was not cut, which is a personal pet peeve and when we asked for extra feta for the salad the woman at the counter rolled her eyes and said«really». The woman at the counter is really my biggest criticism of Mikey’s and is exactly why I will not be returning. She is so incredibly rude every time I, or any of my family members, go in. Her rudeness varies from unappreciated comments to completely ignoring customers at the counter even when the men in the back point them out. She just does not seem to like her job and if they insist on keeping her working there they should put someone else up front and move her out back

I drove by and decided to stop in since the next closest choice was McDonalds. I ordered a garden salad and mozzarella sticks, though after reading the reviews I should have gone with the roast beef! My order was simple so not too much to say relating to the food. The mozzarella sticks crispy and the marinara was good. I only wish that there were more dressing choices than creamy Italian and homemade Greek. I went with the Greek, which was a bit of a disappointment leaving a chalky aftertaste.

This is my first time eating at Micky’s. The place is small and very plain looking. I got an ordered of roast beef with everything on it and a small curly fries. The total came out to be $ 10 and some change. The roast beef was tasty and it was a good size sandwich but the fries were extremely salty and inedible. I ate a couple bite and threw the rest away. I saw the lady put the frozen fries in the fryer so I knew there was no extra added salt. Kinda a waste of $$. Must be the brand. Other than that I recommend getting the roast beef sandwich. I give it a 3.5.

2 big beefs, onion ring and 2 drinks 17.00 dollars. People that work here are nice and it was quick. The roast beef was just as good as nicks way cheaper!

I’ve been here a bunch of times now and I honestly just haven’t been given a reason to not give this place 5 stars. I’ll just start by saying that I’m the type of reviewer who is not going to take 1 star away from a roast beef joint that is primarily for take-out and delivery for anything related to atmosphere — that’s ridiculous. I’ve ordered a few things from here:(1) Buffalo Chicken Calzone,(2) Super Beef(with sauce and cheese), and(3) Onion Rings. The Buffalo Chicken calzone is awesome! The Super Beef was an onion roll piled high with delicious roast beef topped with delicious sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. I honestly think that, all things considered(price and quality) this place has the edge over Nick’s as far as roast beef is concerned. Finally, the onion rings — no complaints here. They weren’t the frozen«Ore-Ida» style onion rings but seemed hand battered — anyways, they were good! And to the people complaining about the woman at the register… toughen up. I mean; come. on. Yeah, she may not feign delight like the maitre d at the fancy french restaurants I’m suuuuure you all go to, but please. Toughen up, state your order in a clear voice, and be polite. It’s worked for me.

I like the food, but the woman who takes orders is a bitch… I called in an order and asked her not to repeat the number the number back to me… only because you can never be too safe, I don’t know whose around her and whose possibly writing down my information, but she said that she had to read it back and was very rude.

Staff was great. Ordered delivery and had to call and add on to the order a few minutes later. Rather than getting irritated(like a lot of other places likely would have), they were nice about it and very helpful. Decent prices. Our food came relatively quickly and it was good, pretty much what you’d expect from any north shore roast beef place. I’m sure we’ll be ordering again.

I decided to go here on a whim for lunch and I am glad I did. The large roast beef sandwich with BBQ sauce, mayo, and cheese. It has the just right amount of messiness to know it was a good sandwich. The lady behind the counter was nice and guided me to the light of yummy goodness. I can’t wait to go back next week while I am working local. The roast beef had a great taste to it too.

Hands down my favorite roast beef in Beverly. I do think know anything about any other menu items except the onion rings, which are great. When I go to Mikeys I’m going for beef and nothing else.

I really should give this one star but I won’t because the women behind the counter was nice and it wasn’t all her fault. I waited 10 – 15 mins JUST for a chicken salad. I watched a ton of other people walk in and out with there food. I understand that this shop is mostly a sub shop, but 10 – 15 mins for a salad is crazy. I could of went to stop and shop and made it myself. I feel there are other sub shops around that are faster. To top it off: they gave me the wrong dressing.

Burgers are awesome(combo deal is pretty good). Tried the roast beef too, not a huge roast beef fan but it was pretty good.

While I love Nick’s just up the road, it is my opinion that Mikey has the best roast beef in Beverly(and probably the North Shore). Their roast beef is rare and tender, and when you order it three-way, the use the perfect amount of sauce and mayo. Their fries that come with the combo are delicious as well. Mikey also has great kabob salads(huge portions for a cheap price) and other dinners.

Lifetime resident of BevTown here and this is the best beef I’ve ever had. Bar none. Haven’t had beef this tasty since the early days of North Beverly Roast beef. Heaping helpings of beef, doused in sauce, rare, tender, tasty. Onion roll on the super beef wasn’t dried out and tasteless. This has surpassed Supreme’s in my book. I’m not going to comment on the atmosphere of a roast beef joint. If you’re looking for 5-star service and decadence from a beef joint then you’re a tool and shouldn’t be allowed to procreate. I feel like if the beef is fresh, prepared how I asked, comes out quickly, and I get the right change, I’m good. I only harp on the service if someone is waiting on me in a sit down restaurant. BEEFSFORTEEFS! — Uncle Juggsy thinks, «Beefs, it’s what’s for dinner.»

So I absolutely love the beefs here, but last time I went I was more in a buffalo chicken mood so I got a buff chicken calzone. It was absolutely delicious although I ordered and PAID for blue cheese and when I got home I realized there was none :-(That was highly disappointing. It also doesn’t have a lot of cheese its definitely an explosion of chicken… which is not a complaint at all. Delicious. Service leaves a lot to be wanted, but thats mentioned enough. You only deal with them for a few minutes, but its almost fast food so I guess shitty service is part of the deal anyways.
