Wicked good food. And the staff is so nice. I ordered delievery and the driver forgot part of my meal. He was very nice and stated he was super sorry. He then left and came back asap with my food and brought me a dessert on the house. It made my night and I learned I like cannoli now! mmmm They also have the only meatballs I eat cause they meatballs are AMAZING!!!

I’ve traveled to Italia many times and this is the closet to authentic Italian pizza I have ever had in the US. The ingredients are fresh and it shows. The Bufalina is my favorite I highly recommend it.

Got a «regular» size pizza which is a little smaller than a regular small pizza anywhere else. It was so soggy I could only eat half of it. And it cost me $ 18 :(

Amazing calzone and eggplant parm. Belongs to owner of the sadly now closed Prides Osteria. Same detail to fresh ingredients.

I came here the other night and I ordered pizza and dinner plates. The pizza as usual was excellent. I also ordered a pasta dish and it too was excellent. I ordered the chicken broccoli and ziti, and it was amazing. This place is a real gem for Italian food. Totally blows away any Italian restaurant in the area in Beverly and beyond. Well, I mean it’s really not hard to top any Beverly establishment for Italian food. But it’s better than any place in the surrounding area as well. Service was excellent too!

A lovely and small little shop with an authentic wood fired stove. Their toppings are fresh and not sparring. The crust holds up well and is perfectly crisp while having its own fresh flavor. The sauce is light and spiced but not overpowering and the staff are prompt and pleasant. I’ll definitely be back again to try more from this quant little shop.

If you have ever had pizza in Italy then you will truly appreciate this pizza place. They take great effort in making everything authentic. The oven imported from italy is stunninly beautiful. We ordered two pizzas, pepperoni and a mushroom prosciutto. They were both deliciius with a light crust and excellent quality toppings. The staff were warm and friendly even though it was close to closing time on a Sunday night. I want to go back to try their four seasons pizza. You must try their homemade limoncello, it is amazingly delicious and reminds me of some I had in Sorrento, Italy.

I wish they cared more about the food like they used to. Service is great. I’ve been multiple times and every time, the server is very attentive and pleasant. Super fast and friendly. The atmosphere is spot on as well, really casual feel in a clean, bright modern interior. The food breaks my heart. I went a couple weekends ago with a friend and we ordered a margherita pizza and meatball sandwich, both to split. The meatballs in the sandwich were cool in the middle and soggy, which makes me think they are prepared ahead of time, chilled and then microwaved. It was totally off. Probably worse, though, was the pizza. It was definitely«okay» pizza. But it was only vaguely similar to the pizza you can find in Naples. The tomatoes, cheese and basil did come together in that nice«soupy» consistency you want to see, but the crust. The crust was not good at all. It was definitely overbaked and I’m afraid they may be firing the oven at low temperatures, which leads to a dried out and charred up crust. Too long in the oven? I’m not sure, but it’s a crying shame, because this place used to be great. Now i feel they don’t care anymore, or the people making the pizza now are under trained I really hope they get things back together and make the pizza that they know how to make. And they KNOW what a good Napoletana pizza is and how to make it. So my message to the restaurant is, please start caring more about your food. Your restaurant and your oven is so special and unique in this area, and if people really knew what a true Neapolitan pizza tasted like, they wouldn’t want anything else. I know you have the skills and I’ll definitely be back, but I’ll always be a little disappointed when i leave. And I think that’s just too bad.

It is with extreme sadness that I report that they no longer serve their whole wheat crust. The menus all still read that it is offered but if you try, the counter guy will run out back and check but only come back with sad news for you. Often their specials will sell out and then don’t take it off the board. The server then needs to run out back and find out if they have the stuff to make the special so service takes 3 times as long as usual, and it’s often slow. On every recent visit either their espresso machine or frother is broken. I can no longer get the pizza that I like and I can’t wash it down with a decent cappuccino or cortado. The interior is usually clean and service is okay, if absent. That is to say that the young man at the counter is nice enough, but a little flighty. However service is okay if you get your pizza to go. Frankly, in the 1.25 years since I wrote my first review we’ve found Napoletana to be uneven in execution and tastiness. I’m sad to say I think this may have been my last visit especially since I can get whole wheat crust at a number of other local places. It’s not quite as good, but they’ll have to do.

The pizza is very good and authentic. I especially enjoyed the diavola. Cozy atmosphere and pleasant staff. The only downside for us city dwellers that it’s wayyy out in Bevuhly.

It’s small, and casual. A little fancier than a regular slice place, but the pizza! It’s become pretty easy to get excellent pizza in town: Area 4 and Gran Gusto in Cambridge, Posto in Somerville. But up here on the North Shore? Not so much. This pizza is really, really good, Nice, chewy, yeasty dough. Top quality ingredients. Imported wood burning oven. And cooks who know their business. Yup, it’s more expensive. And it’s worth it.

An excellent Neopolitan style pizza served here. Definitely in the upper echelon of those I’ve tried. Crust is fantastic, perfectly mottled from the wood burning oven with a soft, satisfying chew at the edges and softening towards the center of the pie. Really well considered combinations of toppings and styles of pizzas here. A must try for any Boston/North Shore pizza lovers. The sandwiches are excellent as well, served from the oven on house made pizza dough bread. I hope to see the paper signage in the windows replaced with actual signs one day.

After having such a wonderful experience at Prides Osteria, my bf and I were excited to give this place a try, and I’m glad we did! We chose to sit outside, and I appreciate the ability to do so, although the area is a little suspect… I think we watched 3 separate drug deals go down… but I digress I had a glass of sauvignon blanc, and he had a Peroni. Both were good as expected. We started with the O’Vulio which consisted of a fried dough tart topped with roasted tomatoes and mozzarella, as well as a fried calzone filled with ricotta and salami. Both were delicious(you can’t go wrong with fried dough…) and piping hot, which was great. Then we each had a small pizza, which I’d recommend if you are hungry! He had the lasagna pizza $ 18(tomato sauce, mozz, ricotta, salami, basil) and I had the Parigina $ 14(mozz, prosciutto, arugula, parm). I thought mine was fantastic, though I might like if the arugula was lightly dressed with some olive oil and lemon juice. The lasagna pizza was great as well. I appreciated the brick oven crust which was crunchy and chewy and everything you want a pizza crust to be. I would give them 5 stars, but I thought the service was ‘meh’ and though I expected high prices, $ 18 for a small pizza that serves one is really a little too much. I understand I’m paying for quality, but I think around $ 15 would have been more appropriate. Overall I was really pleased and will most definitely be back! Though I think I’ll sit inside…

Although admittedly I am growing tired of the wood fired pizza sensation, PPN was pretty good. I’d say better than most and here’s why: the crust wasn’t a charred, black, piece of cardboard. On a very rainy Friday night, my husband and I stumbled onto this place. Instantly I liked it’s quaint, small café feel. It definitely feels authentic Italian. Even the cook behind the counter was speaking it. We ordered small 2 pizza’s and I grabbed a glass of Pinot Noir. It didn’t take too long before our food arrived and we both were happy with it. Like I mentioned before, the pizza didn’t taste like burned, and that’s rare for wood fired so thumbs up to that! Our total was $ 44. And I ordered their basic margherita pizza. Hmmm, pretty pricey for 2 small pizzas. Probably enough that we won’t be back. But overall we did have a good experience and enjoyed our meals.

The food here is amazing. My mom grabbed me at the depot and brought me here for lunch. We had a garden salad that had fresh oregano sprinkled on top and was so fresh and wonderful, then we split a white pizza with broccolini and veggies. Amazing. We split the cannolis. Whoa. The pastry was crisp and brown and tastes so cinnamony… They were possibly the best I’ve ever had. But I think I need to try them at least once more to test them out and confirm it, right? ;) this isn’t red sauce, cheesey, fold it, kind of pizza(which I also love). It’s more chewy, crusty, gourmet. Don’t miss it.

Had dinner quite a few times at the main restaurant down the street called Prides Osteria which is very good. Last time I went in for dinner they told me that just a few blocks down they had just opened a napolitan style pizzeria. So on the way out of Prides we decided to go check out the new pizza spot. Wow what a place! First of all the oven that they have there is the«real deal»! Directly built and imported from Naples, Italy it is a masterpiece just to look at. Than there is «Ciro» who comes directly from Naples and has a pizzeria in Rome and who’s dad actually hand built the oven. The owners of Prides are extremely nice people and this is reflected in the restaurant’s atmosphere. Even though we had quite a big meal at Prides Osteria(the main restaurant) we decided to order a small margherita pizza, well it was the best decision ever. We just loved the crispiness, tenderness, of the dough mixed to the awesome mozzarella and tomatoe sauce with a touch o real Italian extra virgin olive oil and basil. If I lived locally I would be there every day, living in Boston makes it a long commute but its 110% worth it! Will be back very soon!
