You will adore this shop in Big Bear! They have a little bit of everything. Some newer things and some antiques. My husband, 1.5 year old daughter and myself decided to stop in on New Year’s weekend. I saw this bench that I fell in love with. We already have way too much furniture so we walked out and told ourselves we would visit again next trip up the mountain. Just so happens my mother in law is looking for some furniture. I decided to give her one of my benches at home and then called Millcreek Outpost to find out the cost. Lawanda was beyond helpful. She emailed me the images of the bench, worked with me on the price, and set it aside for 3 weeks so that we could come up after the big snow fall. We really appreciate her time, kindness, and help. Thank you! We will be stopping in again very soon.

Not quite sure what the hype about this place is. Most of what they have is overpriced– to be expected, but when I looked under the price tags I saw many gold stickers that said«made in china» or «made in india» Okay. So overpriced things that are actually not at all vintage or antique. Also, for what it’s worth, the majority of things they have here can be found in the village for a better price.

Awesome place to scrummage through some possible hidden gems. I’m a huge vinyl junkie, and they had some really rare records of Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic performing a Brahms symphony. Owner is a pleasure to talk to, definitely will be back next time I’m in town.

This place is kooky, but totally fun! I hesitate to call it an «antique store», because it’s more like an old junk shop — the kind where if you poke around long enough you will find some good stuff! The place is set up in lots of outdoor cabin buildings and when you walk through the yard, it feels like you’re on a tour of an old western town or something! Really fun to check out, and yes, I did find something to buy there and I’m very happy with my purchases!

Beautiful shop. Luanda, the lady who was working when we were there was so nice and welcoming. We left with a wooden dough bowl that we got for $ 54 after taxes by using the $ 50 for $ 60 deal they have on Unilocal. My husband got a free arrowhead too for checking in.

Owner Richard is wonderful. He has unique items made of metal and wood, and signs and vintage Big Bear photos framed in old barn wood. He can also frame your pictures for you on the spot with reclaimed barn wood and they are lovely. Very rustic. AWESOME prices. He has some incredible furniture made of reclaimed barnwood(and an end table is $ 150…so reasonable) and he has a few buffets and side tables. PLUS antique skis and snow shoes to use as décor. I come back here every month to see what else he has. Don’t miss stopping in when you are in the area. I think this is one of the hidden gems only locals know about, as he is out of the Village area. He is on the main road and easy parking on the side. I love this place!
