Been coming here since 1988, once a year. Always went to the old central, Carmel, bar. Old timers, dark wood walls, as old fashioned as they came. Every year we had 2 martinis and 3 – 4 orders of calamari steaks in bbq sauce. Every year. Came back. New ownership. Cheap cheap remod. Highway western diner. Bar: White Walls, fake wood tables. Bad diner food. No calamari steaks. Death sentence. Bright lights in bar. No. Generic soul less atmosphere with divine view. Good by rocky point, I’ll see you in my dreams

Absolutely phenomenal! Glad I stopped here. The U.S.-1 coastline is amazing with all of its twists and turns. Keep a close eye out for fast moving cars; it’s tricky to stop at any of the vista points along the drive because vehicles follow close behind.

One of the most beautiful built bridge you’ll ever come across. We have to stop to take photos of that bridge for over a hour. That was just touristy, but people actually do stop and admire this There is no address, but the coordinate to find the bridge is 3627′ 13.95″ N 12155′ 23.45″ W”. It’s on the 1 Freeway between Carmel By the Sea and north of the famous Bixby Creek Arch Bridge on PCH. This is one of the most famous Arch Bridge that is well built on a concrete reenforcement in 1932. If you are passing Big Sur on the way to Southern California in the way of the 1 Freeway, don’t miss out checking out this bridge.
