Substandard food but great waitress. We did not like our food but still tipped well. Go here only if you are very hungry and nothing else is open. The food was just bland. Too expensive for what you get.
We will not be going back.

This place was a fine neighborhood restaurant. Overall this wasn’t *my* type of restaurant.
The food was editable but not really that good. I typically have a low bar for rating food. I like nearly everything but this just wasn’t my favorite.
Atmosphere was bad but wasn’t great. Almost too much light. Reminded me of an Applebee’s.
I sat at the bar. The service was very good. The food came out fast.
Beer selection was above average.
Very family friendly.
There were many locals which I always love.
I don’t think I’ll be back but I can see that it has appeal for locals.

Staying in the area at a local Marriott Courtyard and was looking for a place for dinner. Jumped on Unilocal and while the rating wasn’t a 4 or above, it was was my destination tonight.
This location is away from the crowds and traffic. Looking around, there is a men’s softball team celebrating a win, several couples at the bar enjoying a drink and meal and TV’s everywhere.
I selected a seat at the bar and was quickly greeted with the offer of a drink. They didn’t have the brand of beer I wanted, but was recommended the 99 tap brew. The mug and beer were cold and the flavor was good. Popcorn bowl was offered as a little something to munch on at the bar. I didn’t notice it at the tables.
For dinner I selected the Grilled Balsamic Chicken with a wedge salad. It was very good and would try it again.
The feel was like a Bennigan’s or a Friday’s. It’s worth a visit if your in the area. I would consider if I am back this way.

I think it’s pretty pricey especially 10.99 for chicken fingers and fries. Some of them were hard to eat because they were overcooked.

Service and food are fairly consistent. Bar staff attentive and friendly. If only the kitchen staff remembered the entire bar can see them behind the line. Everyone can see them Licking their, «his» gloved up fingers, touching his face and God knows what else. I never saw the gloves changed. Or walk out of sight to change them. He went right back touching people’s food. I held back from righting a negative review the first time I saw it. I’ve now seen the same person do it a second time while I was in the restaurant. He was joking around with another female kitchen member and openly with no second thought… Licked all four fingers with the glove on then without skipping a beat… turned and picked up some yellow american cheese. Disgusting. Think it’s time for management to have an ethics & health standards review.

My daughter and I came tonight and our server, Marie was the nastiest server I have ever encountered. Never came back after dropping the meal off and when we asked for a refill she never brought that either. While the food was fine the server really ruined our time out together with her nasty attitude.
If you come here avoid Marie at all costs. We will visit the one on Boston rd from now on.

Absolutely terrible. Used to love the 99 before I ate here. I got food poisoning from a hot dog here. Unless you WANT to be throwing up and feel extremely nauseous, stay AWAY from this unclean abomination. How did the town/​state not shut this down yet? The world may never know.

This 99 is very close to my office, so I find myself here once in a while for lunch.
I just returned from one of those lunches on a Wednesday, and the place was really packed. The crowd was mixed, but it looked to be predominantly a business crowd taking a mid-​week break for lunch.
I had a chicken cobb salad, and it was very good. My colleague had a lobster roll, and he said it was really tasty as well.
Like any 99, this location has consistent service and quality, and that’s what it is all about at the end of the day.

Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Their food is okay. I would avoid the chicken; when I got the macaroni with chicken and broccoli, every other piece of chicken had chewy fat that I had to spit out.

Went here for lunch today and got the tips and tenders at the recommendation of our waitress, Kaleigh (who did an excellent job). Everything was delicious and the steak tips were perfect (medium rare). The pumpkin head beer with the caramel/​sugar on the glass was amazing. Other 99’s have been average but this one in Billerica got everything right.

I know, I know, its a chain restaurant but while the food is your typical «99» food, the staff here went above and beyond to please me. I wanted the lobster roll and while I am not allergic to celery I really do loathe it. When I asked about the cold lobster roll and was told its made in large batches, I ordered it anyways figuring that I’d just pick out the big pieces and enjoy the crunchiness it adds to the roll (I don’t like the texture and taste that infiltrates my nose when I eat it). They removed the celery for me! Or at least as much of it as they could find! A big thank you to Anna for going out of her way and getting the kitchen staff to make my meal much more enjoyable!

I’ve always put the 99 Restaurants in the «beer & apps at the bar category» but there new dinner menu is worth a try.
I don’t know if it’s the competitive cooking shows, or the Unilocal effect, but all the big corporate chains seem to be going to great lengths to put out more creative, and less junky menu. The 99 Restaurant is a good example of this, its not bland at all. I got the Roast Turkey Dinner, and it was really good. The corn bread stuffing was a nice, but more importantly it didn’t taste fast foody.

I really love this place. When I come home to visit this is the first place I go. The menu is constantly changing, always something for someone. They are fast. Ice cold beer on draft. A great place to hangout with friends!

Typical American restaurant with breakfast food geared towards senior citizens and other eats for kids. In Billerica, your choices are always limited, so Ninety Nine gets to stay within the top 10 of my list year after year. I come here for lunch, so the lunch menu has more appropriate portion sizing. I would recommend the Brewhouse burger as that looks to be one of the more desirable items available.

Been coming here for years and absolutely love their food. I always get either the Hibachi Steak or Teriyaki Chicken both are great. The coupon in the entertainment book is well worth it I believe it was b1g1 free. Ask for ginger butter on the rice its delicious! Only thing I personally don’t like is the ginger dressing on the salad, other than that I love the soup, bean sprouts, vegetable mix, and rainbow sherbet that’s included with the meal. Make a reservation before you go or you’ll be waiting much longer (you will still wait about 15−30mins with reservation depending on party size).

Favorite restaurant in New England. Love it.

I thought this place was about average for a steak house. There were generous portions of beef but I ordered something else as I did not want to eat so much red meat. However, my friends who had the beef special had no complaints about it.

I ordered the salmon with veggies both times I’ve been here. The first time was okay. The second time was AMAZING! The salmon could not have been more perfectly cooked. I haven’t tried anything else, but this is like any other type of diner/​pub type place.

I don’t care how much freaking parking a restaurant has when the food sucks, the place is dirty and the waitress talks like a character out of Saturday Night, ask for Beth if you go, you’ll pee your pants laughing so hard when you hear her fast talking memorized repertoire.
Amazing that we stayed, shit, it’s amazing I decided to drive us there and skip the pizza we thought about when we got in the car. Food was sooo run of the mill it was horrible. Chicken Broccoli Ziti is supposed to be creamy not watery… I’ve had better water with straws in it than what this place serves us.
Look around, it’s dirty from the lamp that hung over our table to the wood in the booth we sat at. We sat under the sign that had the 22^nd reason (out of 99) to eat at the 99 which happened to be my number 1 reason not to eat there again cause it was all around dirty.
If you are looking for a «solid» as others have described, don’t go here, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a dirty place, stale beer and mediocre food with plenty of parking by all means call and get a table.

Being close to where I work and live, I have dined at this particular Pub 99 quite often. The service is decent and the place is relatively clean by appearance.
Ample parking, dining room and bar area… and all are usually packed during a lunchtime or dinner hour… especially on weekends.
I’d say for the food, there are some better dishes than others…
Steak Tips, Chicken Parm, Chicken Fajitas, Quesadillas and Steak Burgers are all on the pretty good list. None of these dishes will blow you away consistently, but they’re always good at the least.
The chicken fajitas used to be MUCH better… and they did away with their nachos… which is a bummer.
Desserts are decent too. Decently sized, but you do pay for it.
With takeout, it’s a bit inconsistent I’m afraid. If you can catch the food just coming off the grill, rush it home and scarf it down it’s pretty good… to be fair, that can probably be said of many restaurants.
With dining in, my travels there have been pretty solid. Good place to get a decent meal and a drink or two.
