This is a great historical theater! The steps in front are a bit steep if stairs are an issue. We watched Beauty and the Beast last night and the kids and I loved it! I’m guessing they resource great people since the shows run longer than many others in the area. They do serve snacks and drinks including beer and wine. The stage affords the audience to go up and meet the actors afterwards. I will be looking for other shows to come!

Community Theatre. I’ve been a member for a number of years. Decaying facility has a funky-fun vibe, opening night has a reception with free food, and other performances offer concessions that include the usual popcorn and candy as well as beer and coolers at inexpensive prices. Parking is both in private lot and on the street. Smoking is allowed only outside. Some presentations are appropriate for children and some are not; check before you reserve tickets. Like most community theatres, the quality of the show varies from title to title, but this small stage theatre is always willing to take a chance with material that you don’t normall find at community theatres, with past productions including Rent; ‘Night, Mother; Les Miserables; The Laramie Project; etc. as well as more typical community theatre fare such as Annie; Moon Over Buffalo; Having a Wonderful Time Wish You Were Her; Bathroom Humor; etc. Call 228.432.8543 for details of current offerings.
