Absolutely LOVETHISPLACE! The staff is friendly and the food is consistent and on point. I can’t speak for a lot of the menu as I always order the General’s Chicken, Crab Rangoon and Wonton soup. This place never disappoints. Bring cash.

i’m from the south side and when it comes to chinese food there’s 2 options, Fu Star or China Star. back in 2004 is when i finally started getting into chinese food, and i tried both a few times. China Star was the winner and since then i haven’t gone back to Fu Star. until new years day. China Star was closed and Fu Star was open. i went with the sesame chicken lunch special and a small order of BBQ spare ribs. the ribs were really tender, the best i’ve ever had at a chinese restaurant. and the sesame chicken was great, i loved the sauce and the chicken was nice and crispy. the pork fried rice was good, nothing too special though. i went back again and got the general tsos lunch special, a pork eggroll, and beef teryaki. the beef was good, the meat was tender and the eggroll was about average. the general tso was pretty good. i wanted to try more of their food before i Unilocaled and then the family dollar caught on fire and the entire plaza closed. finally they reopened last week i went here twice and got a few different things. i got the ribs both times and they weren’t nearly as good as the first time i went, they were chewy and charred. i tried the chicken with orange flavor and the sauce was good but they put too much on so the chicken wasn’t too crisp. the lemon chicken was good, and the sesame chicken is still great, and the fried won tons with sweet and sour sauce were also very good. when it comes down to it, i feel kinda dumb for overlooking this place for so long, and while i don’t like it better than China Star, i’m going to go out and say that it’s pretty much just as good, so i’ll be splitting my meals between the two places from now on.

Love this place and reasonable. Not overly greasy like a lot of Chinese restaurants. Their wonton soup is homemade and better than most in the area.
