You know what, at 5 pm this place is a relatively respective after work bar. True, the draft selection is… well, that’s an oxymoron. It’s a strange selection of Bud Light types with a Guinness thrown in to mix it up. Really.
Popcorn at the bar, some business people, and a few eating dinner. Sure, downtown Binghamton is not NYC, this has been a friendly bar to hang out in for awhile.
Late night… might have to check it out.

Johnson City, NY
Kingsley’s is a total dive bar. Cheap beer ($ 6 pitchers) but awful selection. When Genny Cream Ale or PBR is the best you can get, that’s a problem. Jukebox has mediocre selection. Count on hearing «Don’t Stop Believing» and «Sweet Caroline» twice a night. Bathroom is disgusting.
On the plus side, they have shuffleboard and darts, and it’s a large space that usually doesn’t get too crowded, so it can be a good place to go to sit around and chat with friends. I can’t really recommend Kingsley’s but at the same time, if you don’t care what you pour into your mouth, you might mistake its low-​key vibe for charm.
