Frankenmuth is lousy with campgrounds. This place has great staff, centralized bath/​laundry house, and lots of shade. Downside is they parked us in a lot with a hornet’s nest at the base of two trees. They came by and empties two cans of spray and left. Came back an hour later with another can and left it with us. Didn’t do any good. Husband was stung, of course. We hoped the smoke from the fire pit would keep them calmer but don’t know if it did any good. Maybe that kept the rest of us from being stung too.
Very quiet at night, so no campfire guitar sing a longs for us. So it was pretty boring. We won’t go back.

We were staying at a nearby campground and wanted to drive through pine ridge because of the good reviews. When I called to ask if we could, the lady said no because the camp was too crowded. Really!!! Well that’s a way to get customers. Guess I’ll take them off my list of potential campgrounds to stay at.

We are back at one of our favorite campgrounds. it’s especially nice this time of year with the leaves blowing, and the colors changing. The lots are large and spacious and we are also close to Frankenmuth, Birch Run outlet mall and many other fun places to visit. I highly recommend this campground!

We agree with Mike P. on the state of the management. In the last 24 hours here, they gave away the prepaid guest pass to someone else, delivered our campfire wood to someone else and haven’t been very easy to deal with.
Though the price is far less than the Jellystone closer to town, we will likely camp there instead next time.
Everything is clean and tidy. We were surprised that the showers were $ 1 per use.

Nice neighborhood.
