Before the doctor(or anyone else) will see you, you must pay the required co-pay. I did. Fast forward months later, and I have received two bills from them in the amount of $ 30…the amount of my co-pay. Each time I have mailed them a copy of my receipt that shows where I have paid the co-pay and I owe nothing. They have now turned my account over to a collections agency. I’m not paying them another penny and I hope whoever reads this will think twice about going to this location. If you still decide on going, make sure you hold onto all receipts. In my case, however, my receipt still isn’t enough. Oh well. I have friends and family that are attorneys and will seek counsel if needed.

I’ve never seen a doc-in-a-box so empty, especially on a weekend. I was checked in quickly, and only waited like 5 minutes before I was called back. Despite being so quick, something seemed off about this place. The medical assistant was kind of creepy and touchy with me when he was taking my vitals, and when I had to give a urine sample I had to personally walk my sample to the lab? I thought it had to be confidential by placing the sample in a little«doggy door» connected to the lab. Maybe I’m wrong in that aspect. The doctor was kind of cold as well; I guess she balances the assistant out. The three stars basically goes for the efficiency. They got me back quickly, and called my prescription in immediately for me.

It sucks being sick but I can only say good things about this AFC location. The check-in was quick and I was able to see the doctor within 20 minutes of arriving. Within an hour, I was sent on my way after my prescriptions were called in for me at my local pharmacy. Overall, this is a great place to stop during the flu season if you get sick(like I did) and cannot wait for an appointment with your primary physician. The staff takes care of patients and the doctor gets you treated as quickly as possible.
