Andy On Call

David did an outstanding job on a repair as well as installing new lights inside and out. He is always on time, professional, meticulous, and obviously takes pride in his workmanship. I will call them again and ask for David without any hesitation!

Updated to respond to Andy on Call’s response: I think you may not have all the facts of the case but I appreciate your attempt at making an excuse for what happened. Your employee came out and was very knowledgeable about what we wanted done. He indicated it WAS in your scope of business. After waiting a month on his quote, we finally got it and he didn’t write up half of what was talked about so you guys wanted to send him back out to re-​do the quote. The second guy did show up even though you state he didn’t. And the second guy told me he was called out because the first guy was too busy, not because the first guy didn’t know how to do the work. Despite all of this, I was still willing to work with your company since I took time to meet two people for quotes. But that changed when I couldn’t get a response from your company after repeatedly emailing. The lack of interest in responding to a customer that has been working with you for two months proved your unprofessionalism. There are better companies out there that appreciate a customer’s time and effort but Andy On Call is not that company.

Even though they call themselves Andy OnCall «Birmingham», they do not service the entire Birmingham Metro area. I was told I was too far out of their service area even though I’m only 15 miles from downtown Birmingham. I was also told they don’t even service downtown Birmingham. They are apparently based out of Shelby county.
How can you use Birmingham in your business name and not even service downtown Birmingham?

If you are in need of home repair work we recently had a good experience with Andy OnCall in Hoover. We had some dry wall work and interior painting done by a service guy named David C. He worked at our home for 4 days. He was on-​time every morning, efficient, and professional. The quality of his work was good and he cleaned up at the end of each day.
The cost of the project seemed a little high, but I did not mind paying for the reliable service, and it is backed by an established company. Also, the workers are bonded and insured. For me, that piece of mind was worth the higher expense.
