Aaron Michael is a great! He didn’t give up on my hair until he got it looking good again. My highlights kept turning copper-ish in color, which I despise. I guess the undertones in my hair reflect that whenever I try to go from a darker to lighter. He welcomed me back to get all that unwanted color out and did a wonderful job. I feel comfortable seeing him for all my hair needs down the road. He’s also down to earth and funny, too. Aaron is my first male hairdresser and I feel like he gets it more than any of the women that had worked on my hair in the past. He knows what would look on a person not to mention a vast experience with color.

I went to Cole St. Salon for a number of years and saw several different stylists there of varying capabilities before finally leaving. It become nearly impossible to get an appointment and I found the staff at the front desk to be very RUDE (both on the phone and in person). I have also heard some horrible rumors about the owner of this salon. There are a number of great salons in Birmingham. Don’t waste your time and $$ at this one.

I’ve seen Jessica Pieprzyk here for Massage Therapy. Both times, when I arrived, I had extreme pain and tension in my muscles and joints coupled with high stress. When I left, I was symptom free! It was such a relaxing atmosphere and Jessica’s experience shows in her work! Improved range of motion and strength, reduced pain, better mood and perspective are among the many reasons you should never see anyone else for massage!!!

I have been going to Cole Street Salon in the rail district of Birmingham MI for over ten years. It is a wonderful salon, clean, interesting and easy to park at. Cece the owner is my stylist. She gives me a great cut, and wonderful color. My hair is appropriate and believable for my age (60yrs.). Cece is thoughtful, sensitive to my needs and concerns but also makes good suggestions to what might work best with my hair. I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful gem of a salon. They are truly unique!

Love love love Aaron Michael. Been a client for 9 years. He is great at color! And I have gotten probably 100 random «cute haircut» comments for 9 years from complete strangers. I also love the salon. There is always great jewelry, purses and trendy clothes. I have bought many items for myself and others as gifts. Great atmosphere, not pretentious.

I’ve had several wonderful opportunities to have Mary Elizabeth color and style my hair. She ALWAYS does such an incredible job leaving me very happy. She’s truly an artist. The salon is just darling. Very well decorated along with friendly staff that’s always greeting with a smile. I absolutely love the hair products, jewelry, clothes, nail polish, etc. that’s sold there as well. Parking is so easy and never a hassle. All of these elements keep me coming back for more.

I have gone to Marie S for over ten years. She always does a deep conditioning with my color, which I have found that not that many salons will do complementary… or on another note, even ask! I lived in Chicago for seven years and would always come back to her. The salon is amazing as well. They have darling jewelry in the front for you to peruse and the staff is very friendly. They also have an array of other services available. Parking is easy and free right across the street.

If you are looking for a place to have a nice hair cut and friendly service with an affortable price, you should try this place.
The hair designer, Tany, was very precise and took time to make sure all the layers were well cut. Each step, she would explain the purpose and the process of it very kindly. It is not a fancy, high-end luxurious hair boutique, but everyone was incredibly sweet and caring. I will definitely go back there.
