Fantastic experience. I made my first appointment for the eyebrow/​lip wax combo. She was easy to talk to and made me feel very welcome. She took great care with my face and my eyebrows look better than they have in my entire life. I will definitely be returning.

I’ve been getting waxed for some time now and tried different highly recommended places but was never real satisfied. I think I finally found a place I can rave about. Irma was great to chat with which helps take the edge off and she did a great job! The ambiance was soothing and inviting. I would definitely recommend pampered peacock to anyone!

This was my first time getting a Brazilian (really any wax outside of my eyebrows) and I’m glad it was with Irma. She is very friendly and talking to her during the process helped ease the nervousness of having someone working «down there».
I got the deluxe wax (with the numbing cream). I was expecting pain worse than childbirth, but it was only about a 5⁄10 (just enough to make you flinch) and was quick. I didn’t need any pain relievers afterwards, and no issues with irritation occurred. I will definitely go back (and I’m definitely done with shaving!)

This is my 3rd time getting a brazillian and first time visiting this place and I absolutely LOVED IT! you wouldn’t think getting waxed down there would be something you’d «love» but Esti made it feel that way. My first time ever was Hell and second time wasn’t even in Michigan so I was a little hesitant about where to go but thank God for Unilocal.Esti uses different waxes for different parts down there. She walks you through everything and is so easy to talk to. She makes sure she gets ever single hair out before you leave. There is also a numbing cream she can apply before, to take off the edge but that costs a little more. Overall, I recommend this place for your waxing needs.

I visited Pampered Peacock Spa yesterday for the first time. It was a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere, great service. My facial was awesome. I can’t wait to go back for my next facial. I found them due to there Groupon offer and I’m glad I did. Schedule an appointment you won’t be disappointed. I’m giving gift certificates to the pampered peacock as Christmas gifts.

I came here for my first Brazilian and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The esthetician talked me through the whole process before I even started and helped me to stay calm and relaxed throughout. She was very thorough! I scheduled my next appointment before I even left the spa. I would recommend to everyone I know.

Bought a Living Social deal for her services. I never know with those, desparately needed pores cleared up. Transported to supreme cozy calm, felt like a princess on some tropical island being pampered. LOVED IT, she is professional and fantastic at her job. What a blessing to be so pampered. I can’t wait to go back. I stayed relaxed for three days after. Woot woot! Just don’t do up your hair for anything special, expecting it to hold up. At least mine didn’t! thank goodness dear old friends love you anyways for a lunch date with your hair tied up from a sweaty work out but it really was just a lovely facial time.

I went to this cozy spa last week for the first time. Its in a very good location (imo)… downtown Birmingham. You can park on the street (metered) or in a garage (free for 2 hrs) just a short walk away. I’ve had bikini waxes before but for my first ever Brazilian wax I was very nervous! Esti Irma was super nice and did her best to relax me. She’s the best! :-) It was an adventure but the best one of this kind. It was SO worth it and I will return soon!

I have had several Brazilians at other places. I am so pleased with the results. I was greeted by name while I was walking up the stairs. The esthetician did such a thorough job. She spent extra time getting all the hairs and even taking care of an in grown hair! I will be going back here! Very clean and very friendly!

I got my first ever Brazilian wax here. It was fantastic! She used a numbing agent and was very quick, efficient and thorough. No hair left behind! Location was easy to find, located on Old Woodward in the heart of Birmingham. Quick and easy online scheduling. Worth every penny!
