With rental prices for skis easily clearing $ 40 at the resorts, I find $ 20 rentals at valuesports just right. I ski once or twice a season and this shop meets my needs well. The wait time is nearly nil. You will find the staff to be courteous and helpful.

The prices were better than the mountain for ski rentals. I paid $ 21.50 per day, but you kind of get what you pay for. The skis were definitely old and beat up, and the boots were dirty. The workers didn’t seem to know exactly what was going on. All in all, the prices were good but the workers don’t seem as knowledgeable as I would’ve expected. My boyfriend has his own gear, and wanted some merchandise for adjusting his boots size, and they didn’t seem to know what he was talking about. Three separate workers said they didn’t know what a j bar is. It wasn’t horrible per se, but I would have liked to see more knowledgeable workers. I would rent here again to save money, but maybe go to the mountain if you want to better quality boards.
