Not only is this a great store, it goes to a great cause. Staffed by all volunteers and allows all the proceeds to go to local charities. The Kiwanis thrift shop is a gem in Black Mountain.

This would probably be your run of the mill thrift store except that it’s not. It’s a cute shop with quirky stuff. Some of it is probably older than my grandma.
The clothing was hit or miss but I did manage to find several items I liked. There was also yarn, fabric, household goods, shoes, albums, jewelry, and lots more.
I was on the clock so I wasn’t able to spend as much time as I wanted here. I left with six or seven tank tops, a pair of shorts, and a pair of black patent leather Ralph Lauren loafers.
The loafers alone were worth the $ 20 I paid for the whole lot.
