I know most people think, «how could a dentist ever get a five star rating… its the dentist?» But I have in fact had a five star dentist before back in Denver so I’m well qualified to rate all others. I originally went to see Dr. Glasgow at his smaller location(just next door to the new one) for a general cleaning. I only saw the hygenist, but she was personable, let me know what she was doing while she was doing it, and although the space was small, it was personal and comfortable. I was prepared to give it 4 stars. BUT I just recently had to have some cavities filled and went to the new office. I felt like a head of cattle being herded through as fast as possible. The new space is nice, large, modern, sleek and shiney but I suspect that’s because the doc sees more patients to pay for the new digs. I’ve never had a cavity filled before, so I didn’t know what to expect. But the hygienist and the Dr. G just kind of spoke over me and didn’t explain what they were doing. At one point the doc started talking about one of the other employees in a negative manner.(so unprofessional) I guess the bottom line is that it didn’t hurt, aside from some of the whatever they put in there burning my tongue a little bit, but my cavities were all really minor. They just kind of rushed me through and didn’t ask if I had questions or anything. Dr. G didn’t even say good bye or ‘have a nice day, come back and see us in 6 months.’ So I’m going to have to give it a 3, this was no small-town dentist experience but they didn’t put me through the ringer either.
