I could repeat what other reviewers have said and it would all be true. So I will just add that I have had the good fortune to enjoy Corey Watkins’ artistic photos of family events in Virginia over a few years. She captures unique images that reveal aspects of individuals’ character I didn’t realize could be frozen in time. I don’t even have to pull out the photos to remember what she saw… and helped me see.
Also, some are really funny, some are quite edgy, and some are simply elegant. All of them help me recall treasured moments. I usually feel uncomfortable being photographed myself but when Corey is the photographer, I feel happy to join the party.

I recently had a 50th birthday celebration for my boyfriend. I was referred to Corey from another photographer in the Roanoke Valley who was unable to do photographs that evening. Corey has a great personality and went above and beyond in taking photos at this event. She has an eye for pictures and captured all of the great moments, even moments that we were not aware that she was taking. She gave me a tease of a few photos on FB and I am more than happy with her work. I am looking forward to seeing all the rest of the photos that she took and I look forward to sending her new customers and also using her again. The pictures that she took were so LIVE, VIVID and BOLD and made me feel as though I was still at the party. Thanks Corey for doing such an awesome job!

Skyryder recently photographed my wedding. Corey went above and beyond on my big day. I was super excited to see her work. She was extremely professional, calmed people down, and took the best pictures! I would confidently recommend her to anyone and will be using her forever.
