Good take out food. Price is reasonably inexpensive. We had the fish n chips combo and it’s ok for the price. Clam chowder is not bad. Will eat here again.

We needed dinner just before closing. Our grandson had an excellent cheeseburger. we chose yakisoba. HORRIBLE! I couldn’t eat it. Obviously reheated to mush, including the broccoli. I threw it in the garbage. The kids, also, had ice cream cones. They wouldn’t eat them. The ice cream was old and icky. What a waste of money.

Great take out option. Locals keep them busy, extra busy during tourist season. Teriyaki, Chinese and American standbys. Call your order in to save on waiting time. Dine in… outdated décor, but clean. Tasty!

Worst teriyaki chicken I have ever tasted. The chicken was definitely boiled which is not a good mix with teriyaki sauce. And I also know how much these products cost. Over 70% of the plate you get is profit. Spend some of that on a grill. And grill your chicken. That boiled stuff made me want to barf. And don’t try there sweet and sour sauce. Someone is adding cinnamon to it and will totally ruin the taste of anything you add it to.

Chicken Teriyaki was very good. Lean meat, tasty sauce, good sticky rice. Over average portion size, plus 2 dumplings and egg roll. Also served with cup of soup. Lots of tasty food for very reasonable price.

Average teriyaki restaurant. Not bad, not great. If you’re in the area and want lunch, it is a valid option. Pricing was also average.

We were here a few years ago and it was superb. This time, new owner, totally different menu, and way too much MSG(especially on the chicken). That said, the fried tofu teriyaki was really yummy. I miss the old place, it was really fantastic.

This is a neat little spot. Good portions for the price! You guys get dinged 1 star for the fries. Crinkle Cut is fine… I can see the no seasoning… but ya gotta make em Crispy!!! Ours were not… Past that the fish portion to the fish and chips was awesome! The Teriyaki Combo(mine was chicken and beef) super moist, lots of flavor and again killer portions!!! Oh yea also came with an egg roll, side salad, and 2 gyoza. The combo appetizers were delicious too!!! The Bbq’d pork is killer!!! Hot, moist and tender! Can’t wait to go back!!! Thanks guys keep it up!!!

Came here for dinner on a Sunday night. Service was great, they accommodated the vegetarian in our party and recommended the tofu teriyaki(excellent, the tofu was nice and crispy). Chicken teriyaki was also good and would get it again. Sweet and sour chicken kind of mediocre(breading was a bit soggy). Not bad for birch bay!

The food is great, but it takes FOREVER. Dining in probably takes a back seat to to-go orders, which is how I usually eat their food. The inside needs a remodel and isn’t very cozy, so I’d rather eat at home. I have learned that when they tell you the food will be ready in 20 minutes, show up in 40.

For being the ‘only game in town’, vis Chinese food, it’s not bad. Pretty tasty, actually. But it takes FOREVER to get it! On several occasions(I’m local) I’ve ordered take-out, and have been told there would be a 30 – 45 minute wait. Upon waiting the allotted time and going to pick the food up, I STILL had to wait another 10 – 15 minutes waiting for my order to come up. My girlfriend ordered clam chowder and had to wait 15 minutes. Come on; it’s SOUP! You put it in the container, and put the lid on. The chowder was good, but there’s no way it should take 15 minutes to ladle it into a container. While I like the food well enough, we’re not going to order from there anymore. In the time it takes for them to make an order, I can drive to Bellingham, get Chinese food, and drive home to Birch Bay.

Admittedly, my husband and I drove the 45 minutes it takes to get here TWICE this week. It’s just that good. We split the Kung Pao/Teriyaki dinner which comes with soup of the day, a melt in your mouth eggroll, 2 goyoza, and a platter full of food. Even splitting it, there is a LOT of food. The service was great, although slow(but who cares; these are Date Nights!) because everything is prepared fresh; No Egg Drop Soup sitting around for hours!(ours was late coming to the table because the chef was making a fresh batch. So worth the wait!!) Great view of the water. Yes, the building is nothing to write home about and the paintings are, well, interesting, but we love the atmosphere. The 5 star rating is for the food, which we «crave fortnightly.» :)

A local lunch time favorite. Locals seems to come here for one dish — the crispy kung pao chicken. I’ve had that as well as their mongolian beef, both decent Chinese dishes. Good spot for lunch, and a view of Birch Bay. The CKPC dish is now also served in a half-n-half combo with chicken teriyaki — it’s a Thursday special served everyday!

Food is great. Better than most of the other teriyaki restaurants that I have been to. Not the fast food type of teriyaki. Great views of the ocean especially at sunset. Edit: I recently went back there and had their kung pao special. All I can say is WOW… Definitely the best kung pao dish I have ever tasted. My husband loved their Bay Burger and said it was one of the best burgers that he has had.
