Ordered delivery, calamari, chicken franchaise, salad and a loaf of bread(which came with the franchaise). Everything was great except the calarmi, which was most definitely the worst I’ve ever had. Relatively quick service(30 minutes or so).

Simply good, dependable Italian food. Head around back to their dinning room. Very good penne vodka and fra diavolo with a good kick.

my neighbors introduced us to Angelo’s and we are very happy about that! We order at least once a week, usually a bit more often and the food is consistently really good. The baked ziti and pepperoni stromboli are on point! They are all really nice, from the person who takes the call, to the delivery drivers, to the waitresses when you dine in. it’s always a good experience!

Even though the food is great, the people who work here are disgusting and have attitude. The last time Im ordering from here.

This place is one of my go to for a great quick lunch or dinner at a great value. Over the past year I probably eat here about 8 times, and this place never disappoints. The chicken parm chicken marsala and chicken franchaise are all all terrific. You can never go wrong with their pizza and actually have a good variety of desserts although I’ve never tried. Some of the wait staff could definitely be a little bit kinder and quicker, but the food and the value or both terrific.

That was one solid Pepperoni pizza. And as is required of all pizza joints, online ordering.

Although I prefer Vinnies, Angelos is the pizza that my family ordered most frequently when I was a kid growing up on Bay Ave. Angelos was my personal pizza benchmark for taste. I would spend the rest of my life comparing any pizza I would eat to that of Angelos and Vinnies. Now since I don’t live here I always sit down in the restaurant in the back. It’s very good and I’ve never been disappointed with the food.

Their food was good. I ate a few different Italian dishes and they were all very tasty. The customer service though is poor. I called and picked the food up but getting additional vegetables added to the food was not straight forward. It seemed like this was a rare request and the lady taking my order could not understand. I did get the vegetables though. Also, I only went here because I had a certificate that was valid for dine-in or pick-up but they did not honor the certificate. I called back afterwards and the manager was as rude as Darth Vader. I will not be returning.

Angelo’s is a good place to eat, as long as you know what to order. Their pizzas are excellent(especially the clam pie) as is their frutti di mare(as good as you’d get in Rome), linguini with red clam sauce and most chicken dishes. However, they serve a lot of frozen entrees and these are sub-par, so ask before ordering if it is fresh. The wait staff can be a bit frustrating, sometimes really friendly, other times not so much(unless you’re a regular, in which case they will linger at your table and talk to you all night while ignoring other diners). Nevertheless, my wife and I eat at or get take-out from Angelo’s often so I guess you could say we like the place.

Pizza was a bit bland, but their penne vodka is really great. So is their cheese ravioli.

I’ve ordered online from this place a few times and the food is always good. But I wrote the review today because of the customer service. I ordered the wrong pizza and even though they didn’t have to they replaced my order right away. Great food great service !

Delicious pizza! Delicious sandwiches! Love the sausage links. Food is fresh, and the owner is very nice. I always try to stop by when I’m in the area. Never been in the dinning room, but have taken out many times. A must try when in the area. I love revolving pizza oven!

I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad with chicken cutlet. I wasn’t fond of the dressing but I was good. The chicken cutlets on the other hand were awesome! Thin, crispy and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed it.

Got delivery right after moving to Bloomfield. The pizza is terrible. Crust is like cardboard and has no flavor. Will not be getting pizza here again.

The bread is nice n soft. The broc cooked perfectly, everything is cool besides the too much sauce thing they got going on but I figure next time I will ask them to b easy on it n we will c then… The chicken lightly seasoned having my picture says it all so I’ll try them again

The food was bland. I got a grilled chicken wrap that was supposed to come with balsamic vinegar but it didn’t, the worst part was that it was soggy. They were not very friendly either. That was my first and last time coming to this place.

Sam and Charlie make you feel like family. Best pizza in the area. Especially their Sicilian pie. All their other dishes are excellent. Nothing fancy, trendy, or tacky — just good old reliable Italian food. Their Chicken Savoy is almost as good as the Belmont Tavern’s. Ask for their specials on weekends. I’ve been eating here frequently for over 25 years and highly recommend it!

2÷14÷14− Where the f– is the love? Before I give my own account I’d like to say that I chose to come here because a few years ago I had visited this restaurant several times. I remembered the food was better than expected. I should have left when I was told that the restaurant ran out of linguini. That was the sign I should have left. How can an Italian restaurant run out? After a thoroughly disappointing dinner, I left unsatisfied. About 2hrs later. I got violently ill. Hopefully my stomach wrenching will subside and not require medical attention. I know this malady was from the food from here because I didn’t eat all day. So to review… tonight on Valentine’s day what had hoped to be a romantic evening with my wife has turned into a nightmare. This experience totally ruined my evening. I almost feel compelled to return the food my body rejected and ask for a refund! I’d take pictures of what the food looks like coming up but fear I would be banned from Unilocal. Do yourself and skip this one! Never again. Happy Valentine’s Day!

I have gotten takeout pizza and other italian food several times from here and it is now my go-to place. The pizza is really good with a good amount of cheese and a crispy and pillowy crust. Not too much, not too little. The main thing, though, that brings this pizza joint into the 4-star stratosphere is the other italian food. I didn’t expect much, but we ordered penne vodka, tortellini alfredo, meatballs, and stuffed shells. The penne vodka was really good, no off flavors. The meatballs were acceptable, but I probably won’t get them again. The stuffed shells were good with a bunch of mozz thrown on top. The crown jewel was the alfredo sauce. Holy hell it was some of the best of alfredo I’ve had. Alfredo is a very simple recipe, but I’ve found that a lot of places don’t use the right combination. Some places it’s way too rich. Some places it’s watery and lacks flavor. Angelo’s does it just right. Big fan. Oh, and yes, the guy who takes payment is a real ball ache. He gave me a hard time when my card wouldn’t swipe through his machine dismissing any chance that it was his machine’s fault. I assume he’s the owner. However, I urge all of you to grow some thicker skin. A little attitude is the NJ way. And besides, the food is the important thing.
