I had an issue with my online order they corrected it properly and even followed up with a phone call the next day apologizing. They pizza was awesome. Would continue to order from here.

Been going here for years and tonight made me change my mind entirely. Not only did I wait an hour and a half for a gluten free pie and chicken part sandwich, but they forgot the sand which and delivered a regular pie. When I called back to get the right order and receive a refund, they refused to issue a refund. The girl on the phone could not have been more rude, not even having me on hold and talking shit to another person there about me wanting my money back. If I could give zero stars I would. I will be in contact with the owner tomorrow and getting my refund. I work in customer service and I received everything but. Without even being rude, I received nothing but rudeness in return from all three people they had enough nerve to place on the phone. Will NEVER order from here again.

Thieves running this place. I ordered a chicken parm/mushroom pie here 2 weeks ago(6÷11÷2015) and it was never delivered. STILLHAVENOTREFUNDEDMYMONEYAFTER2+ WEEKS. They literally STOLE $ 25 from me. Charge is still on my bank statement. Do not give them your card number. I reported them to the credit card company. Stay far away.

My husband and I just left this restaurant. We went because we had a Money Mailer coupon — 50% off entrees — Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It was Wednesday. The food was subpar; my husband didn’t get what he ordered. When we gave the waitress the coupon, she told us that it was only good for 4– 6PM. This was not mentioned on the coupon. However, she could give up 15%. We will never return.

I recently ordered a salad(Di Casa) from this restaurant at the suggestion of a co-worker for delivery. First, they delivered the wrong salad. As a result, wasn’t able to enjoy lunch with my team since I had to call and request the correct salad be delivered. They quickly delivered the«correct» salad but to much disappointment. The tin was basically full of greens… very few walnuts, not a single cranberry and more carrots then even Bugs Bunny would enjoy. Extremely disappointed as a first time and never again customer. :(

I really like this spot. I have been here only 2 times, once as a party of 2 midweek late and again with a party of 6 on a Sunday early evening, the food was great both times and their portions are perfect! Service is just ok, nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about either. Your company makes your atmosphere in this kind of place. I will deff. return. There is also a full bar which is not an easy thing to find around those parts.

My family and I often order delivery from here. It usually takes a long time but it is usually worth it. Tonight I ordered online though their website at 7:00. Around 8:00 I called to see how much longer and the girl told me it would be there soon and hung up. A half hour later, I called again and was put on hold. Eventually the girl came on and said the same thing and hung up again. 20 minutes later I called back and was again put on hold. The girl said again it would be there soon and she would call the driver and see where it was. I then asked to speak to the owner who was apparently not there but was able to speak to the manager. Apparently the order had never gone though, the girl that answers the phone never even checked and just kept saying it would be there soon. Absolutely ridiculous, will NEVER order from there again!

GREAT service… GREAT food! I wonder why it’s always empty when I go… have gone several times with my family and it never disappoints… eggplant, chicken, GREAT balsamic dressing… overall great place for the whole family to sit down and have dinner… nice and quiet atmosphere so you can talk… perfect date spot. try it!

Three only because the food is fresh. Service is usually slow. Especially delivery. Ordered tonight. Salad came with no dressing. Calamari came with no marinara. It also took an hour and a half delivery. The surrounding pizzerias are expensive but at least you get what you order

I attended a family event here recently. I loved that the family was able to reserve the whole restaurant and have it to ourselves. It gave us a ton a privacy and run of the whole place(which is a good thing cuz we can get loud!) I give them three stars for service. The two servers working the event seemed at times overworked, but seemed to be trying their best. They were very slow in refilling the buffet probably because they were also busy tending to the tables. I found the food itself to be very underwhelming. Perhaps its because the buffet was very limited in items. But even the pasta was very bland. The stuffed mushrooms were the most tasty of the dishes. So overall, the privacy of the event was great, I just wished the food was just as awesome.

What an awful experience my wife and I had at this restaurant. We had an baptism dinner for our son held there and while arranging everything we were sweet talked by the owner that he was going to take care of us and that he will be on the premise making sure everything is running smoothly. He also told use that the place could easily hold 60 guests and a maximum of 70, we only had 50 and that was way too much!!! Nobody had any where to move!!! The day before the event the owner let us know that he would not be there because he had his daughters birthday party. I’m sure he knew way in advanced and didn’t want to tell us in fear that he would lose our business. He only supplied with one waitress and one bartender for a party of 50! I had to help serve the food instead of enjoying myself. The staff had no clue to any of the arrangements that we had made with the owner because he forgot to relay that information to them so now instead of helping guests they were constantly on the phone with the owner because they didn’t know how to handle situations. Midway through the party the food ran out!!! The guests were asking if they were going to bring out more trays! Most importantly, his bartender spilled a whole glass of red wine on my wife’s dress, which was an accident but we didn’t even get an apology from anyone. Bottom line, He is a smooth talker but not a man of his words. Will never do business there again.

This is a tough review for me to write. My coworker raved about their food. So We ordered wraps one day for lunch and they were delicious. I decided to go to dinner there a week later. They served warm bread with oil. We had buffalo shrimp. Very good. Our meals came with salad. Unexpected for $ 12.00. I had pasta w sun dried tomato and prosciutto, my husband had eggplant pasta. Both very tasty. After that delicious dinner at great price and that tasty lunch I was convinced I found my new favorite place. BTW the service is also very good. Only complaint thus far they keep it very cold. Everyone went into cars for coats or sweaters. The reason I’m having a problem w my review is our last visit. We ordered clams oregenato and it was loaded with sand. My husband enjoyed his baked cavetelli. I on the other hand ordered one of my favorite dishes. Puttanesca. It was extremely salty. :( That is why I gave three stars. The clams and puttanesca were complete misses. Everything else was very good at a great price with fine service. We will go back. I’m hoping that was just an off night for them.

I’m still looking for a Bloomfield pizzeria that makes a good marinara. I love eggplant and pizza and this place misses the idea of great flavor instead absolutely no flavor… BLAND…eggplant way undercooked kind of soggy then finished with a bland sauce topped with a little mozzarella and hardly if any grated pecorino… too bad I’m still looking

Having read the raves about this restaurant, perhaps they were having an off night — but this was such a disappointing evening, I thought it important to share it. First, we came on the later side — 8pm. The place was empty except for one other table. Using the restroom, however, it was clear that others had been in there; the restroom looked like a men’s rugby team had been through. The servers were very nice and congenial. We went to Casa Turano because they have a full bar — but were told that they lost their liquor license and hadn’t yet gotten a new one. Certainly didn’t ruin the evening, but had we known, we would’ve brought a bottle of wine. We’d called for a reservation and they failed to tell us on the phone. We all had salads with our meals — tasted like the plates were put together and left in the fridge. Wilted lettuce that’s been left out, and bottled dressing — Kraft, maybe? Very unimpressive. The main courses made up for it – I had the penne vodka and it was excellent. Others at the table had the veal parm, grilled salmon and linguine bolognese and each person enjoyed their dish. I only tried the linquine and didn’t find it particularly flavorful. They have fresh Italian bread on the table that is absolutely outstanding. As another reviewer warned, don’t fill up – it’s certainly tempting! We did not choose to have dessert but did order coffee. When it was brought to us, we asked for milk or cream and were told they didn’t have any. So we sent the coffee back — after which the server returned and said, «We do have half and half.» So we had our coffees returned to us with the half and half. I will say that the price of the dinner for 4 people was $ 70 which was a very reasonable price had the entire meal been good. The friends with whom we went go there regularly so I may try it again on their recommendation — but my first impression was less than favorable.

This is Bloomfield’s hidden gem among the many Italian restaurants in the area. Don’t be confused from the outside as it appears closed(the shutters give the illusion of perpetual darkness). Owners, take note. However, as soon as you step into the restaurant, one feels as though they are transported to the mountains of Tuscany. The décor is warm, inviting and not at all pretentious. There is a main dining area in the front and a small intimate dining experience in the back with a beautiful view of the river with ducks frollicking in the water. In warmer weather there is the option to dine outside. The wait staff is highly attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. We have been coming here for about a year now and service has consistently been friendly, accurate and appropriately timed. We have never had to wait for our server or food. As for the food, consistently AMAZING!!! The bread with seasoned olive oil is addictive. Be careful or else you will fill up on the bread alone. The Mi Casa salad is my favorite and it’s a generous serving so consider sharing if an appetizer. My boyfriend loves the cesear salad. The Balsamic Chicken is a must and the pasta dishes are fantastic too! We have tried many entrees and all have delicious. Overall, great food at reasonable prices in a cozy atmosphere. It is a BYOB. This is a MUST!

I went to this place in 2010 and we got a seat outside(it was a sunny day). The service is very professional and the place looked good. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I would probably repeat. The price was average for any italian restaurant.

Isn’t it nice when you go to a restaurant for the 1st time and it exceeds your expectations? Last night I was meeting relatives here and we had a simply wonderful time. Food was great, service was more than attentive and prices were truly reasonable. Most everyone ordered pasta dinners($ 13.95 to $ 14.95) which included a good sized salad. When we sat down warm bread, butter patties and a bowl of olive oil(with spices & grated cheese — so yummy) was brought. Table was set with white linen and artistically folded crimson napkins The back wall was all windows for a beautiful effect even on a rainy wintry night. The main dining area was also very nice and there was a large flat screen TV with the football game on but it was silent which really was a great idea. You can watch the game and everyone having dinner whether into the game or not can have a nice dinner experience. The small bar is closed — they are working on getting a liquor license. Food did take a little while to come but that’s a positive — it’s truly cooked to order. The quality is what you expect at a much higher priced place. We had a truly elegant dinner in a wonderful environment with a great waiter and delicious food at moderate pricing — is there anything better? Whatever problems were reported earlier have certainly been corrected and I got the feeling that there is a new owner now. Go to this restaurant. You will love it.
