I just went to this establishment with my family– a party of 6. When the hostess came around the corner and saw a large party she rolled her eyes as if we were inconveniencing her. Then, despite the empty restaurant, she told us there was a 10 minute wait because«her servers were with other customers»… Needless to say, we decided to leave and I don’t imagine we will be back any time soon. If I could give a restaurant 0 stars I would. Terrible excuse for customer service…

Mediocre food. Salad bar was fresh. Floors and tables were sticky and booth seating in two booths had two be re-cleaned. Service was slow and the management and wait staff seemed more concerned with managing the staffing/payroll vs. the guest experience.

I had the salad bar to go today and was very disappointed. The Balsamic dressing was extremely salty. The veggies were good. I had a couple of croutons that tasted like they were tossed in salt also. Maybe they’re trying to give the Bloomfield community hypertension. I have no idea. I do know that I won’t be going back. Fyi: I think they used a dirty mop to mop the floors because they were disgustingly sticky. Not a place for me. Not a place for you either unless you want to be on blood pressure medication, and the bacon bit were like chewing rubber bands. Fresh… not so sure. Hate I spent my money there. I threw out most of my salad. Can’t imagine how the food is. Actually, I don’t want to. Just order a plate of salt and call it a day.

The place was a mess. Food all over the floor where we ate. The food was salty. How can you go wrong with chicken quesadilla and who puts salt on quesadilla. Only gave 2 stars because waitress was nice and mom and aunt liked their food.

My party got a table pretty fast. After waiting for the waiter for about 15 minutes, we ordered 5 appetizers for the table that took 40 minutes to come out. The quesadillas were soggy on one side and the sour cream was warm. The lettuce on the plate for the mozzarella sticks was brown on the edges. It seemed as if certain things were sitting for a while while other were prepared. Also, there was pasta in one of the quesadillas which is just way too weird.

This is by far the worst restaurant ever. I’m usually not around this area but decided to try this place out because I had a good experience in NY. Little did we know, we were in for the worst dinner of our life. We sat down and we were not acknowledged because the servers were too busy chitter chattering. Later on, I went to the salad bar and came back. Server saw my plate of salad but did not offer utensils. What were they expecting me to do? Eat a salad with my hands? Like a barbarian? We ordered a something trio and steak with lobster. The pasta in the trio was literally soaked in oil and served. It was so oily I could deep fry French fries in them. I ordered a medium«steak» which came out as well done. Oh sorry, well well done. So I sent it back. It took roughly 15 mins to get a medium steak and when it came out, I realized I would not even serve this to my worst enemy. It was so stiff I thought it was a dogs chewing toy. Poor cow. Unhappily, I ask for the check. The server gave me the check without any eye contact. Is customer service dead? Regardless, I still tipped appropriately and will never return. Sincerely, Your most angry customer. PS. If I could, I would give ZERO stars.

I realize once again why I avoid Ruby Tuesdays. Wanted a quick meal so stopped here. Told a 20 minute wait for a table, it being about 6pm Saturday. We decided to sit at the bar and order. The lady bartender was brusk. We ordered, then waited what seemed like an eternity for our food to come. No check in from the bartender this whole time — no update on the long wait for our food — actually she seemed to be avoiding us. The food was ok. …will not be back.

Had dinner there last Sunday after an absence of months, due to poor service. The Chicken Bella was good, if salty. The salad bar was excellent. The apple flatbread dessert was very good. Service was slow, though the restaurant was less than half full. We got seated quickly but waited for the waitress to show up, then waited for drinks to be delivered. We ordered everything up front, but it was still slow. I don’t know whether this place is chronically understaffed or whether poor service is just their mode of operation. Probably won’t go back soon

I go here regularly for their happy hour. The bar staff is very friendly and my glass is never empty. The restaurant is clean, salad bar is kept fresh and stocked, rarely a wait for a table if eating in the dining room.

Very reasonably priced and tasty meal, came with the salad bar which was a nice addition. Portions were great, the perfect size to be satisfied but not so much that I’m obligated to take some home or leave some wasted. Overall a very good experience.

Service is terrible l. I waited a very long time for the check. I recommend sitting at the bar if you end up hear. In the plus side the salad bar is a really good bang for your buck.

Waited forever for our food. I ordered a medium well steak and it was raw. Bloomfield needs more restaurants. A little competition is in order…

I hadn’t been to a Ruby Tuesdays in years but a friend suggested it for dinner and I figured why not. I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of food had improved from what I remembered. They have an excellent salad bar that comes that you can get in place of a side with you meal. Also they have a fit and trim menu options that are actually good! We started with the Big Dipper Sampler. It had all the classic appetizers– chicken tenders, cheese fries, Thai spring rolls, and fried mozzarella. All of which were good. The biscuits were yummy though a tad dry for my liking. I ordered the Chicken Bella with zucchini and spaghetti squash. Love that spaghetti squash was an option! Though I was sad the mashed cauliflower wasn’t on the menu anymore. The chicken was nice size and the sauce on top was delicious. This place is good if you are looking for easy, inexpensive and somewhat healthy dinner option!

I was in the area visiting my lovely Alma mater with a few other alums and we decided to come here to grab some grub. It was nice to have a restaurant in the area stay open after 10pm… It’s typical chain restaurant fare… so there weren’t any real complaints. Mini burgers were the hit of the night… w/the lovely salad bar. I say always stick to the basics when super hungry. The specialty drinks seem to be a hit with the table. Our waiter was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I’m sure I’ll be here again when I’m in the area again.

Dear Ruby Tuesday: The Beatles called. They want their name back. This is what happens when you hire bad waitresses who tell their customers that she is just having«bad luck» with a table.(You cannot make this up.) No, the bad luck was ours — coming into the restaurant for the first time in years, thinking that the advertising campaign meant this place at changed. It did not. Let me explain why: No waitress for 10 minutes. Then a waitress did come(not ours). Then drink order was wrong. That«Sprite» you brought my daughter is water. And ice in milk(really?). And why a small glass for my bigger kid, but a big cup for my smaller kid. Huh? Then the food comes. My chicken is lukewarm. The pancakes and bacon from my kids’ dish is missing, well, bacon. Which I would tell waitress. But she disappears again. And no water refill for me. Or my kids. The bill comes. Oh and then you charge me for a full size drink for kids? Are you kidding me? And 2.99 for bacon for my other kids but not for the one whose dish COMES with bacon? I would give it an extra star for the food which was serviceable but who am I kidding: I will never ever be coming back here. Like ever.

(this review is for the take-out experience only) We have brought in take-out orders about a dozen times(the latest occuring today) from Ruby Tuesday and have enjoyed good food at very reasonable prices every time. They have a really great deal if you sign up for their«So Connected» Club — coupons and e-deals, and a FREEBURGERONYOURBIRTHDAY! This isn’t some small White Castle Burger– this is a big burger with 2 sides– an $ 11 value. It’s good for eat in or take out, too. We used my wife’s Birthday coupon and picked up an early to go dinner today, because we wanted to be home to watch the Yankee playoff game and the Giants– 49ers, both of which annoyingly started at 4:00. We ordered the Avocado Turkey Burger(free with my wife’s Birthday Coupon) and added a salad bar, as a side to the free burger, for just $ 3 — so basically we had dinner for two for just $ 3 !! The burger was big, juicy, and tasted great. The salad bar is a real nice one– with a big variety of fresh veggies, some cubed ham, a few shredded cheeses, and some(probably not too healthy) mayo based salads which we avoided. You get a big take-out styro container and you can fill ‘er up. I joined their«So Connected Club» today, so we can reprise this great daily double again in a few months on MY birthday. You should join too –its quite a good deal

I went to this Ruby Tuesday with a friend of mine from Hartford. We sit at the bar to watch the euro cup for a bit. Yay soccer. Lol I ordered rib eye medium and grey goose pineapple. Drink was good and the rib eye was just ok. Typical dinner food imo

My wife and I go here at least once a month. It’s one of the few places we always agree on going. We like sitting in the cocktail lounge because we can watch sports on the many TV screens, and on busy nights, chances are there is always an open table there. The servers are always friendly, and for the most part knowledgeable with the menu. On our last trip my wife ordered a turkey avocado burger, and asked for no bacon, and extra sauteed onions. It came out perfect. I usually have a top sirloin steak and their«Garden Spot» salad bar – which I’m happy to report now can be ordered as one of the side dishes for most entrees. They keep the bar refreshed very nicely, always bringing out fresh items. The only thing I can say negatively about the salad bar is that the plates are often still warm from the dish machine. My steak came out perfectly cooked, and the accomanying sauteed green beans and baked potato were quite good. One thing that makes me laugh a bit each time we go are the warm cheddar biscuits that come with each entrée. Although tasty, they are so little, I can’t help but think why bother? Next time you are stuck for a place to go for dinner, say, «How about Rubys?» I doubt you will be disappointed.

This was a darn good time. The portions were way huge, which is good(but oh sooo bad for you). We had an app sampler and their featured entrees. I had a whole separate meal boxed up to eat the next day. Everything tasted great, and it was fun. Our server was great, but the rest of the people working seemed a bit lazy. Our first table was uneven and some one was drying to level it by putting cardboard under it, but we finally asked to move as she was not getting anywhere with that. Why she didn’t move us int he first place, I don’t know. I enjoyed it nevertheless! Good times!
