Bentley’s is our frequent spot for a quick bite to eat either in person or carry out. We haven’t had a meal that didn’t exceed our expectations. Portion sizes are amazing and you never leave feeling hungry. Recommend to anyone in the area.

Dined at Bentley’s several times and like the family atmosphere. Food is typical Greek and breakfast offerings. Wait staff friendly and food prepared rather quickly. Taste average but but they take care to prepare each meal with consistent quality and care. Nothing stands out to knock your socks off, but a reliable neighborhood place to bring the family to for a decent meal.

Good but not great restaurant. Food is average and will satisfy most customers. My wife and I stopped coming to this restaurant though because of a very rude hostess. My wife is slightly disabled and sensitive to temperature changes. The older hostess wickedly snapped at us a little while back because she thought we wanted a booth but all we wanted was a table away from the door and the cold winter drafts as people ventured in. Previously we had frequented this restaurant often but I have since taken my business elsewhere.

We came to Bentley’s for a late breakfast after trying to get into another local place, but they were packed. Coming here wasn’t a bad idea! They did have a small wait, but it was Sunday, and Sundays are busy. The hostess was very nice and welcoming, and understood our frustration about waiting. It wasn’t too long until we were seated. They have a huge menu(most diners do). All sorts of breakfast items from skillets, omelettes, crepes, pancakes, you name it. They also have lunch and dinner items like sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. I was in the mood for breakfast, so I ordered a skillet with pancakes(the pancakes came with it). On that note, you get a TON of food for how cheap it is. My friend ordered crepes, and it came out as pancakes. They were very understanding and replaced them right away. Overall the food was good. Like I said, it’s typical diner food, nothing that will blow your mind, but it is very good. The service was very attentive, we always had full cups of coffee, plates cleared, food came out fast. No complaints there. I would come back!

Located in one big ass strip mall, Bentley’s has one big ass menu. It’s like a little book, seriously! Their soups are delish and they offer at least three choices each day. Most meals come with soup and not a cup but a big ass bowl of soup. See the theme I’ve got going on here. :-) I had a veggie wrap and it was great. Lots of fresh spinach, broccoli, shrooms, tomatoes, onions, a bit of cheese and just enough Ranch to hold it all together. It was delish. The fries that came with it(I could of ordered fruit for the same price but come on who picks fruit over fries!) were fresh and hot. My dining buddy opted for two over easy eggs and yep, instead of two her big ass plate had four eggs! Waitress was good. This is not fine dining. The carpet could probably use a good steam cleaning but our plates and flatware were all clean. It’s a pretty large restaurant so they can accommodate lots of folks even during busy times. Come here for large portions of hearty diner type food and you’ll be happy if that is what you are craving.

I work at a small office very close to Bentley’s, and I quickly discovered that of allllllllll the lunch options nearby, Bentley’s is by far the best value and quality. For less than $ 10, I can get a delicious homemade sandwich that is a generous size, fries(or fruit) coleslaw, pickle AND soup! Other places offer a lame sandwich and a bag of chips for the same price, how can you compare?! Our office has some picky eaters, and they always put up with our special orders and paying separately, too. Much appreciated!

All I have to say is I order the Saganaki every single time. I love the food. Very affordable and really pleasant waitresses(most of the time). If your waitress does not do the lighting of the flaming cheese, she is lazy and deserves a lousy tip! They usually do it proper. Everything on the menu is decent and you get a lot of food for your money.

We live in the area and have been here several times for breakfast. Really a great option for any breakfast craving you might have. They almost always have a table open, no waiting like other breakfast joints in the area. The omelettes are my favorite, and the choice of potatoes is nice too. Always fast service as well. We have even brought out of town guests here and they enjoyed it as well.

I have to say, this is a 5 star place, great food and great service. Their breakfast is the best and their kabobs are really good, try the chicken kabob, you’ll be impressed.

This is our favorite restaurant in Bloomingdale. Everything we have tried on the menu is great! Fine service, a varied menu, clean seating area, and great food. Pete the owner will probably stop by to say hello. Did I mention that most entrée’s come with soup AND dessert? Great prices compared to other restaurants too.

A flashback to the old days kind of place where you pay at the front and have servers who pay attention to you. Lots of food at decent prices. You can’t go wrong when pancakes can be the«toast» you choose with your meal!

Was in the area and I wanted breakfast. Found this on Unilocal. The restaurant is in a big strip mall, plenty of parking. The restaurant is huge and the décor is kind of depressing looking, green carpet and burgundy chairs. The menu has a lot of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was greeted right away and after getting seated our waitress came right over. I order coffee which was ok and I ordered the steak skillet. The skillet was two eggs, hash-browns, cheese, mushrooms and onions. I ordered pancakes on the side. My skillet was just meh, nothing special and the pancakes tasted like they had been sitting out for a while and not fresh. My little one had an egg, pancake and bacon with a side of fruit. Our food was just ok. I would not go back for breakfast but might try them for dinner. The restaurant had quite a few people and it seemed to me like they were regulars because my waitress knew all of them. Service was good for just so so

Good brunch place. I HIGHLY recommend the skillet-especially the Athenian skillet. So dang good, with feta cheese, mushrooms and cheese and home potatoes with a side of fresh French toast and hot coffee. Holy cow, someone had to roll me out of there by the end I was so pleasantly full

I had high hopes for a second chance at scoring this infamous Baked Apple Pancake. I called in 40 minutes ahead and had to emphasize a small. They didn’t ask for my name. We arrived and my +1 put in his order. I got my pancake when his soup came out(fine by me!). Sooo… is it SUPPOSED to be eggy on the inside? It looked crispy/overdone on the outside and seemed WAY undercooked inside. It was completely dense and eggy. Not sure what part was supposed to resemble a pancake. or even a cake. Needless to say I had a little bit, but it wasn’t very palletable: the eggy batter melded with the apples. it seemed half cooked and the texture was almost custard-like. I took leftovers home, so I hope it’ll be better with a second nuke in the oven.(Note: the texture slightly improved after another 40 minutes in the oven, but it was still unpalletable with NO flavor. Tossed it.) I can’t believe we paid $ 10 for that thing. Our server seemed really awesome at first, but she ended up being very inattentive. She never asked us about condiments and coffee refills and of course by the time we remembered to ask her for some, she was nowhere to be found(for looong periods of time). She gave us To Go boxes, but our check didn’t come for well over 10 minutes afterward. And, sheyut, we were hell-bent on getting a second coffee refill, so that came after we finally got our check. The girl ringing out the checks was nice and personable, so that was a plus. I REALLYYYY wanted to like Bentley’s. 0 for 2; just doesn’t seem meant to be.

Came in for breakfast. Walked out after I took a sip of my coffee mug and wiped lipstick away from my mouth… it was all over the side of the mug. Yeah, I don’t wear lipstick. Absolutely disgusting. Wash your dishes.

Good place for breakfast. Typical breakfast selections that they do very well. Been here several times, the omelettes are particularly good. Nice and fluffy with a good variety. Place is clean, large and the staff is friendly and fast.

An experience worth the wait. A Pancake joint busy on the weekend morning, is typical, a premium breakfast place with delicious pancakes, creeps, waffles, and French toast, like Bentley’s is well worth the wait to be seated. As a local and long time guest, the food, quality of menu, taste of food, overall service, and rating has always been of premium quality. I personally love the scramblers and omelets.

I enjoy coming in for breakfast. The food is very good, prices are reasonable and service is A-1 and quick even on a busy day. It is located in the Bloomingdale Lake Street strip mall right next to Dollar Tree and Pivot Point. As a testament of its quality, you will rarely see it empty on a Saturday or Sunday during breakfast hours. But the crowd does not impede your ability to get in and out without compromising the food’s taste or temperature.
