I bought my first Macs, iMac and Macbook from Connecting Point in 2007. Brian and Lee were both very helpful to me in making the conversion from PC’s. Since then I’ve have bought other Mac products there including my MacBook Pro. We are Mac fans today and I would highly recommend Connecting Point to anyone. I’ve had on occasion taken my computers in to them, their service is quick and very thorough. I’ll keep going back!

They sold me some memory then popped it in and ran diagnostics for free! I would highly recommend them they have been selling macs for thirty years and it shows!

I can’t say enough good things about the guys at Connecting Point. Brian, Joe, and Lee all spent over three hours trouble shooting a communication issue between my new iPad, Mac, and Android phone. They had more patience and knowledge than you can imagine. Talk about going above and beyond your expectations. You don’t get this kind of service anywhere else in town. We’ve been buying computers from Connecting Point for over twenty years now because we know that they will always take care of any problem I manage to create.

I have been buying computers from this place since 1985. I’ve probably spent close to $ 75,000 over that time. Here’s the thing: Never once, ever, ever, ever was there a concern they didn’t make right. I’m fair with them, they’re fair with me. How many places you shop at for a quarter of a century and never got led elsewhere? They’ve sold me computers, fixed my computers, and helped many friends over the years. In Blono, they really are the place to go.

Since there are no Apple stores in central Illinois, this place is a great resource for Apple products and repairs. I purchased an open-​box MacBook Air from Best Buy, which was a mistake, but I could not pass it up for the price. I purchased the extended warranty and had problems from the get-​go with Best Buy’s service. I was not given the restore disc for OSX and the computer was not formatted. This wouldn’t be a huge issue, but there was a program installed that reverted everything to the original settings upon restart, so I was unable to save any work or preferences and I was unable to format the drive myself because I had no disc. I was told by Best Buy that I would need to call Apple to receive a new install disc, and they would credit my account for the price of expedited shipping. From there, they then told me that I would need to wait 8 hours to a business day for them to format my almost empty hard drive — waiting an entire day to fix their error and oversights.
A friend had taken her iMac in for repair at Connecting Point and I explained the issue to an employee in conversation. From that point, he took the computer, completely formatted the drive and fixed the issues I was having in 45 minutes, for free! I was so impressed by the help I received, not even buying the computer there.
I have recommended fellow Apple users to this store for purchases and repairs. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable.
