I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and I plan on coming back from here on out. If you’re looking for a eyebrow upgrade and want it to last longer then waxing, this is the place to come.

I’d been looking for a solid place to get my eyebrows threaded and I’ve found it. I used to go to a threader located in Northeast Minneapolis, but thankfully these ladies are closer to home– and they’re good! They have excellent attention to detail and really make sure that both eyebrows look the same. $ 12 + tip for eyebrows, which is average here, and well worth it. Parking is tight usually, due to the restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

You could tell the employees are passionate about their work. She took the time to listen to how I wanted my brows shaped and took the time even when a few other people came into the store . There was only one employee working and it didn’t take long before I was in and out. Purchased the brow powder and threading total was $ 28. Definitely will be coming back !

This place is located in a little strip on Lyndale. Parking was kind of a pain with a Starbucks being just a few doors down, but it’s worth it. At first I thought it was a clothing boutique when I walked in, but I saw the two salon chairs near the back of the store. The lady who greeted me was very friendly and took her time on my brows. She was so meticulous in her work. After each brow was done, she showed me how it looked before moving onto the other side. In the end, my brows looked fantastic. For $ 12(+ tip) and good conversation, I found my new threading place in the Twin Cities.

I have been threading my eyebrows for Many years now. You can never go wrong with threading. I moved to Minnesota from California and found this place. Nisma does an amazing job all the time. She takes her time to make sure she does what you want and sends you home happy! I have been going to her ever since I moved here which has been a little over a year! Happy customer :)

Nisma is the best. I think their prices are great because they do such high quality work. I’ve had my brows done by Nisma, Sarita, Srihannah, and others. They all do a good job. Plus they are all nice people. Very customer focused. TELL them what you prefer — thin, thick or natural. I just let Nisma work her magic and I have been delighted. If you go on a Saturday bring a book to read and be prepared to wait.

I tried out Royale Threading because I’d heard the price was a bargain, and I happened to be at Southdale for some H&M shopping. At first, it was hard to find, so I called. The person who answered didn’t understand me and hung up on me. I walked around a bit more and found the kiosk. The experience was very typical of mall beauty. It was awkward, and I couldn’t wait for it to end. I’ve had my eyebrows threaded dozens of times, and this was by far the most painful. My theory is that she removed too many hairs individually with the thread, and also removed longer hairs that had been a part of my basic shape. My end result wasn’t horrible. Shaping what I have is now difficult, though. She definitely went too thin. I’ll have to let them grow in quite a bit before I can go somewhere to have them done properly. I think for what this place is, the price is OK. Threading is a pretty rare skill as far as what you can find in Minnesota, so $ 10 at the mall isn’t too shabby. Like Nadia S., I would prefer something a little more secluded than a kiosk. If you’re willing to spend more, there are better options. However, if you’re at the mall looking like Bert from Sesame Street, maybe it’s worth a little pain and a little change.

I’ve been looking long and hard for a decent threading place in the Twin cities. Coming from Manhattan, I’m used to having countless threading places in the two block radius around me. In Minneapolis, however, at-home threading seems to be the norm(you find a nice Indian lady that will do it at her home for a reasonable price). The jaded New Yorker in me finds that a little uncomfortable for the time being… After extensive research, I did find a place in Southdale Mall. At one of the little kiosk type stores in the middle of the mall, there’s a place simply called«Eyebrow Threading». For $ 10(plus tip) you can have your eyebrows carefully threaded. I’ve been there three times so far, and it’s always a different lady. They do a decent job and are very meticulous(they consult with you after finishing one eyebrow and will go after pesky hairs with a pair of tweezers). I will continue going back to them, as it’s the closest place to where I live. However, the three star rating is for what I think is an outrageous price for having hair pulled out of your face in the middle of a mall – no privacy, just a bunch of people strolling around wondering what in the world you’re letting someone do to your face. Oh well, at least the huge skylights make it easy to spot the strays. Oh, and park outside of Ulta, and take the escalator down to find it.
