Vitamin World

I was roaming around the Shoppes on the Parkway outlet complex and found this store in the back. I needed an item that I ran out of so I figured while I’m here I might as well see if they sold it. I asked an employee and they pointed me in the general direction of the item.
The store is small but they use the space wisely and the sections are labeled well. there’s a section for mens items, weight loss, protein mixes and more.
And they have a frequent customer program as well, although I asked them if they had a store closer to Charlotte and they said Concord but they said they could ship any item to me and I could shop their website as well.
The negative thing I saw here… even though my item was buy 1, get one for 50% off, I found their prices to be extremely high… especially for a store in an outlet complex! Even the local health food stores are cheaper.
Oh well, I still walked out with my item… I didn’t want to have to drive back to Charlotte and still go shopping…
But after I got home and opened the box, the bottle looked very familiar. I buy a lot of items online through Puritan’s Pride and the packaging here was similar. After further research I found out Vitamin World and Puritan’s Pride are the same company and Vitamin World used to offer the same pricing as Puritan’s Pride but changed to compete more with GNC. Sorry VW but now that I know this, I won’t go back to your stores and will wait to get my items from PP. This additional research lowered the 3 stars to two for you.
