I have extremely curly hair and it’s difficult to find a stylist that can control these curls while still keeping the length. Shauna did such an amazing job with my cut and color that when I looked in the mirror It felt like I got a total makeover. She transformed my face with her curly hair care skills. I will only be going here and I’m very excited to see what else she can do for me. They even offer eyelash enhancements, which I will be trying soon. Thank you salon adiktd for making me embrace my curls and love my hair again.

This salon is a little bit far flung for me, but I make a point to go there, because I followed my wonderful stylist Jen from another salon. It is a combination boutique and full-​service salon, and I like their eclectic style. Their décor is a mishmash of vintage from various eras… Victorian mirrored dressers with ceramic drawer pulls serve as stylists’ stations (inspired idea, since the big rush on midcentury modern «antiques» has left what were formerly pricey heavy older pieces more available for the taking). Artsy light fixtures and boho décor abound. They recently moved from a strip mall location off Adams Dairy to a little repurposed house in downtown Blue Springs, and the vibe suits them. I’ll look forward to seeing how they get settled in. Nice stylists, very attentive, and priced fairly.
