I usually just go for happy hour. The happy hour drink prices and food prices are a great deal.
Casey is the best behind the bar. She is very friendly and keeps the beers coming. I go with my brother and it always a good time.

We are out of towners. This place was recommded by our Air BnB host. Great young band tonight. Not sure of name. Very tight. Sat outside. Great atmosphere. Food presentation was excellent. However tasty, I think they hide to much behind sweet sauces, which is obviously not homemade. That is the only reason for 4 stars. Wait stuff was excellent. Prices reasonable.

Would have loved to have tried their food but my wife and I were not to be waited on. We sat at a table outside waiting patiently but to no avail. They were fairly busy but not that busy. Waitress walked past us several times. After over 15 minutes another couple sat down near us and were promptly waited on. This is when we took the hint that they did not want our business. We quietly left disappointed. Told my wife we now know what it’s like to be invisible.

Loved it! Great service and food! It was pretty packed at the time and still got Incredible service. Love the live music!

Sunday brunch is amazing! We sat outside in the warm sun and listened to a cool live band while we sipped on our $ 1 mimosas. Crab cake Benedict and shrimp & grits were both delicious. Waiter was very kind and attentive! Can’t say enough how much we loved this place.

Nachos were good. Meatball sub was fine. Great casual atmosphere. Wish the beer list had more craft or more local. Would (will) come back.

Best bar in town! Whenever I visit I make it a priority to visit this spot. Great service and awesome food! They have excellent live music and the staff is very friendly! You won’t be disappointed!

We stopped in for a late lunch after finding the restaurant where we intended to eat closed. So glad we did! It was a beautiful day and we picked a table outside. Service was prompt and friendly in spite of a full house outside: first person with menus and silverware wrapped in a cloth napkin, then our server to take our drink and food order. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. My husband had the House Burger. It was generously sized, perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful, served on a fresh brioche bun with just the right amount of bleu cheese, bacon and chipotle mayo. He opted to not get the caramelized onions. I had the Beet Salad and Crab, Spinach and Artichoke Bruschetta. The salad was fresh and just the right size. I would have liked more beets on it though. The bruschetta was served on a bed of shredded cabbage and was delicious! We will definitely go back.

The restaurant is mediocre at best. Upon arriving, the hostess sat us after clearing a table without wiping it off and she never brought us menus. We ended up getting some from the hostess stand ourselves. I ordered the beet salad with overcooked mahi. Although I love guacamole, it made me just want to have fresh avocados on the salad. We did have satisfactory service from our waitress.

Had drinks here a few times while on vacation visiting my in-​laws.
— Bloody Mary to go to walk around and shop on a Saturday afternoon was a great treat and they were super good!
— Saturday night drinks outside by the fire (it was a very chilly January night and it was so nice!!) with my honey. Packed inside with people dancing and having a great time, bartenders super friendly and very quick
— Night before we left had a couple more drinks by the fire — bartender was awesome! He was super friendly and made my Jack and Ginger nice and strong like I like ‘em!
If I lived in SC I would definitely make this my local spot and probably apply for a job!
Will be back when we return next year!
Also, new restaurant is being built and looks like it will be awesome!

Great spot to go, wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately their staff needs a lot of work. Service is usually less than mediocre and there always seems to be a problem with something. Today for example, we have a group of 6 who tried to go for lunch. After being told they were on a wait and putting our names down, we saw at least 4 groups of people walk up after us but get sat immediately. When we inquired, the hostess simply said «well I’m not the one who sat them.» We continued to wait only to see this continue in addition to witnessing other parties walk up and seat themselves and receive immediate service. Again when we inquired, we were told «they sat themselves, what do you expect us to do about it».

Bar feel with animal heads, guns, and tvs for décor. Outside seating for live music. We were inside for the two of us for Sunday brunch. $ 1 mimosas were great! The food was tepid but tasty. Crab cake benedict was super filling and very tasty. Loaded potato soup was also a hit. They serve their regular menu plus a half dozen specials for brunch. They’re more on the savory lunch side.
I’m not sure what the big deal is. This place is usually packed in season. Service was benign neglect or unhurried which is common in Bluffton. They are expanding their back deck. I wasn’t insane about the live music. It was eh.
I’ll try again and see if I’m more wowed.

Stopped in for lunch about a month ago. It’s a really small spot, definitely not good for a large group. There was 6 of us, and we had to sit outside to all fit at one table. It was unseasonably warm that day, so no big deal. The food was good, but nothing fantastic. Our server was great though. She was super friendly and got out everything to us correctly, and checked in frequently. I wouldn’t say this is a destination spot, but definitely a solid choice in old Bluffton!

Love the pub feel inside. The outside is great too. Burgers are to die for. This trip we started with the french onion soup, as it was cool outside. It was great. perfect amount of cheese, and the fried wantons were a bonus. I had the special of the day which was a fried grouper sandwich topped with tartar and coleslaw. It was perfect. Had the onion rings, which were good. Wife had the meatball hoagie with fries. Their fries are great. Shoestring style and perfect. Good beer selection, and had SEC football on the tube for those who cared. Great night life spot too. Locals and tourist both came in while we were there. We’re a little of both, we live in Columbia, but have access to vacation property in the area and go down once a month. Probably my favorite place in old Bluffton, but as my reviews state, I’m a sucker for a pub.

We are out of towners who came here for Sunday brunch with a small group of people from town and we had a fantastic time. We sat outside by the bonfire and listened to live music while we ate and chat.
First off, the service was great. The hostess was friendly and so was the server. There were others who stopped by to bring our food and cleared our plates.
They have $ 1 mimosas for Sunday’s and it was great. Perfect mixture of orange juice and champagne.
The food was delicious. We had ordered the bangin shrimp and fried gator bites for appetizers and the taste was spot on. Our group had ghost burgers, the low country omelette, and I had the shrimp and grits. As far as I can tell, everyone enjoyed their food. The shrimp and grits was wonderful. The creamy sausage gravy was unique and it was delicious. The grits were just right as well. I would highly recommend that dish!
All in all, we had a great experience here. The food, the service, and the atmosphere made this a place we would visit again if we are ever in town.

Fantastic bar/​restaurant tucked into the historic downtown of old Bluffton. When you walk up it’s an open air seating venue with live music, but there is also the older quaint restaurant that offers indoor seating. Highly recommend sitting outside.
The menu is eclectic with great with seafood, meat, and poultry options with a touch of Southern flair. The fish tacos are amazing and have fresh flavor! Have a few drinks and enjoy the scenery, music, and delicious food!

Came here for good food and late night drinks with the wife and unfortunately they just started this late night menu action and it’s no Bueno! Ordered a cheeseburger and truffle fries and they brought out a burger that was bad backyard quality at best and fries that had Romano cheese dumped on top!!! I was highly disappointed because I was looking forward to the menu I witnessed from previous reviews! I don’t doubt that they are top shelf prior to 10pm but I advise to dine here before the clock strikes 10 because this «New» late night menu sucks! But I’ll give it another go for sure! Fingers crossed…

The only thing that would have improved our experience was being recognized quicker but they were busy. The gator bites, house burger, and fries were great. Couldn’t ask for better pub food, choice of beer, crowd, or live entertainment. Cheers!

OMG! The grouper and grits are amazing!
We also love the parmesan fries.
Kids burger is substantial.
Fish tacos are so​.so.
Wings were great.
Oyster shooters are a must!
Bangin shrimp is very, very good.
Usually a band playing outside.
Great atmosphere.
