Best chinese we have experienced so far. Most authentic we have had. The dumplings were great and so was the Kung psi chicken. It was cheap to. 19 bucks ! Definitely recommend this place

Is the term«New York Style» a synonym for yucky? I ordered roast pork chop suey and chicken wings. The chop had a sticky reddish sauce and the veggies were for the most part past crisp. There were 5 chunks of roast pork which I would say was fine for a small order, but I really just ate those and the broccoli. The wings: I’m mixed on these. I generally like well-marinated, uncoated wings. These had a bit of a crispy coating(maybe some seasoned panko?) and had some of the marinated flavor. They were above edible, but not above average. I didn’t hat them though. I called the order in and it was taken quickly. When I showed up, a «New Yorker» blasted me with«Pick-up?» and«What did you order?» Never asked if I wanted a drink– that was lost revenue for them because I did, but I wasn’t going to have a separate receipt for it. Then he told me to grab my sauced and gave me the hairy eyeball when I grabbed more than one of the yucky packetted hot mustard. Overall? Meh.

They are fast but the food is completely average. I ordered broccoli chicken with fried rice. It was ok but definitely not like NYC!

Called to order the guy was very rude and kept correcting me. They over charged me by $ 10.00 and the food was very bland.

We picked up take out from the Boca location. Food was awful. One dish drowning in sauce and one very dry. All very salty. Threw out all the food.

Waited forever to pick up our food. The place was very understaffed. Food was mediocre at best, but you do get a lot for your money.

Just moved from New York and they have better Chinese food then some of the places up there. I recommend the boneless spare ribs combination. A lot of food for the money.

Everytime I come to this place, I only expect one thing and that is to find the best chinese take-out food. Not only I feel welcome by the lovely lady in the cashier but I always get a free can of soda for my purchase. You will not regret getting their fabulous House fried rice, or their delicious Huan chicken.
I have been going here for years-as it is close to my home. They may claim«NY-Style», but as a former NYer– I know QUALITY Chinese food. This is NOT! I’ve finally given up on this place. The only thing that is edible here is the Wonton soup. Everything else is greasy and disgusting! I recently had the bbq Spare Ribs. For the SECOND time I’ve ordered them, they were Totally fatty! And the Fried Rice– that’s usually one of my favorite items at a Chinese Restaurant. Normally you would find scrambled Eggs in it. Not only no scrambled eggs in the rice, but it is Loaded with Onions. Just Disgusting! And the other entrees are always Greasy. You will be sick to your stomach if you know and appreciate Good Chinese food, and make the mistake of trying this. It’s a shame because the owners are really nice– I’ve just given up on the food… It’s too bad!

This is not New York style Chinese food. This is what I would call good«drunk» food. The egg drop wonton mixed soup is gelatinous and slimy. The entrees are heavily sauced and over priced for the quality of the food. Though they do use fresh and crisp vegetables, which is a plus. They also give you«free» steamed rice with your entrees, which seems to be stopping at other restaurants. The food is very greasy. Over all, not impressed and I most likely will not be coming back.

As everyone knows, truly delicious Chinese food is hard to come by in Boca Raton and they all leave a lot to be desired. Bamboo Wok is the best I have found so far in my search for decent Chinese grub. It doesn’t hurt that it’s only 2 minutes from home, either!

Giving up on the Coconut Creek location long ago I was very hesitant to try the Bamboo Wok in Boca. I am so happy my boyfriend took it upon himself to show me just how good their food is. I can sum it up in one word… YUMMY. Like most other things, I am very picky about Chinese food. I am a Long Island transplant. I know the difference between good & bad Chinese food. I just about gave up on even trying to find it. Bamboo Wok is Long Island style Chinese food. We all know so many places claim to prepare«NY Style» BUT they seldom get it right. This is the real deal. I have tried several items from their menu on two different occasions. First, they are consistent. Second, the food is awesome. And third, the food is incredible. This is only a takeout place so be ready to take home your food, get comfortable & enjoy a great meal! The portions are huge! The dinner combo plate is enough to share. They actually listen to you if you have a special request or need to modify a dish. The ingredients are fresh. I found their prices to be decent. Parking didn’t seem to be a problem. So once again my boyfriend proved me wrong. Now when I hear someone complaining that they can not find«good Chinese food» in Florida, I can proudly say«YESYOUCAN».

It’s our choice for NY style Chinese takeout… The food is consistently good and service is FAST. From the time you call to the time you pick up — 15 minutes, tops. I am not sure why a couple of the reviews are so poor, my family comes from NYC and in the 10+ years we have been taking out from Bamboo Wok we have never had a bad meal… And the people on the phone are always nice and helpful. Overall — it’s exactly what you would want from a fast food Chinese takeout…

South Florida has NO really good fast-food Chinese Food. And I’m sticking to it unless otherwise proven wrong! Anyway, this place was lightning quick in taking and making 10 orders that came out to be about $ 80. Nice people on the phone and in person. That’s where the good part ends! The only thing that was okay to was the Veggie Lo-Mein. The fried rice was dry and bland. The BBQ Ribs were way too sweet and way too red(translation: tons of red liquid dye). Steam Pork Dumplings were thick, huge pieces of dough with semi-eatable meat inside. Chicken Chow Fun stuck together, lacking soy sauce and flavor. Sauteed Broccoli and Chicken with Broccoli were a bit too salty but was really well cooked and right thickness with Brown Sauce. That dish was the one that was good to eat after I mixed it with the White Rice. At least I started with really low expectations before I ate their food, lol.

Want NY style Chinese takeout in South Florida? Then, this is the place. These folks originally started out on Long Island, NY, and have brought down the style of cooking popular in New York to Florida. It is my favorite go to place for Chinese take out and I have been going here since they opened in 2001. Sure, I love the authentic Non-Western influenced Chinese food(growing up in a Taiwanese household, how could I not?), however there are times when all I want is my General Tso’s Chicken, Chicken with Broccoli, or Hot & Sour Soup etc. All of your standard favorites are here and almost everything is cooked perfectly. The only criticism I have are with the egg rolls, which are hit or miss. Very odd considering it is probably one of the easiest things to prepare and cook. However, everything else is spot on. Other locations are in Coconut Creek and Boynton Beach. I am not sure if they deliver, as I always pick up on my way to or from somewhere. At one point they were delivering and then they weren’t, so your best bet is to call.
