This joint is amazing. I have not found anywhere in Boca that makes a pita or sub as fresh as these guys. They recently started featuring subs and they hands down serve the best subs in Boca in my opinion, and I’ve had it all. But man, what a great menu.

Curry chicken hot pita and cheese fries are on point. Limited outside seating, it’s more of a hit and run then a sit and dine. A good lunch or on the go option.

Now I can truly say I’ve been to every nook and cranny in Boca. Recently discovered this hole in the wall in a crappy little shopping center in E. Boca. Nice people working here and authentic pita sandwiches. The price is right and the food is great for a quick lunch.

From the outside looking in you would think«pass» but after checking Unilocal… I had to give it a try. The owners are awesome. I visited for lunch and had a traditional Gyro. The Pita seemed a bit hard(not so fresh). The meat was tasty but overcooked(burned). The tomato and lettuce was delicious and fresh. If I were to return, I would order to pick up because the parking lot(or lack thereof) is a ZOO. I’m a Gyro-phile. I love them, but i do not love the Gyro’s at Pita Principle. It’s worth visiting if you are in a rush, are local, and want greek, but if you can drive a bit further for your Gyro… do so.

This place is good! Easy simple stuff and they deliver quick and I like that!!! They are always really nice and loving on the phone whenever I place an order and always accommodate my special requests when it comes to making my caesar salads with no croutons and adding tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and cucumbers!!! Nice people for sure and good food!!!

I found out about the Pita Principal YEARS ago when I first started working in East Boca. It is the kind of place you would probably drive by and maybe not think it was a good place to eat. The location is small and looks a little like a ‘dive” restaurant. The parking usually sucks and its right next to a 7 eleven. There is no sit down eating except for a couple tables outside its mostly take out lunch. With all that being said the food is well worth it! Its a mom and pop sort of place nothing fancy but its the best gyro in Boca! The tzatziki sauce is awesome and the portions are really big, they will stuff your sandwich with the protein of choice. Toppings are always fresh and the menu is big and diverse. Everything that comes on a pita you can get on a salad. The food is good, the prices seem a little high but you get fresh ingredients and lots of food for your money so I think it is worth it. The last time I was there I had the Thai Peanut chicken salad cause the pita was too messy lol and it was great I ate the whole salad! They even gave me 2 big dressings at no extra charge(a lot of places don’t do that). If you are around the area try it out, it is a hidden gem of Boca.

This place is always serving fresh amazing food. Everything from there pita pizza to the gyro. Everything is always prepared fresh and in front of the customer and the portion sizes are hugh. I’ve been going here for ten years now and i will keep going for the service and food. Its always the small mom and pop places that bring it home for me. Defiantly would recommend this to anybody who loves great food for a great price.

Ok so I see this place all the time… and decided to give it a try. Ugh this was by far the worst gyro I have ever had. I’m from New York and have only been in Florida for a few months and man do I miss NY food! A gyro at home has soft warm pillowy pita this place had burnt hard pita that was closer to a cracker! The lettuce was hot and wilted on the bottom and the meat while having a good char had no flavor other then grease! I get better gyros off a NYC street vender!

3.75 My man Tirath gave me some nice suggestions for my new veggie diet. If I don’t see another falafel for a few months I’ll be fine. Three in one week is just too much. But I was on a quest to try all the them in this area to determine the winner – it’s Maoz. The bad. Guy behind the counter, who was very friendly, doesn’t wear gloves. He picked up everything with his bare hands, including my money and then proceeded to cook. That ain’t cool. Also it is a freaking sweat box in there. No chairs inside, but you can sit outside and suck in the fumes from the cars parking at 7 – 11. I opted for take-out. More bad. I was disappointed to see the man reach into the freezer(again with bare hands) and grab three previously frozen falafel balls. They were good, but the thought doesn’t help. Shit when I’m stoned Ellios pizza is pretty good but I don’t want to see/know/hear the sounds of somebody(bare hands mind you) reaching in a freezer and pulling out my meal to then drop in a fryer. The good. The 3 previously frozen falafel balls weren’t bad. I think it’s because they grill the pita here along with the veggies and aren’t afraid to lather up sandwich with hummus. Some places are just stingy and they weren’t. So it was tasty, a bit small but the price $ 5.99 was right. I agree with Guil, if you are getting a pita you may need a little more. I still was hungry after I ate it and that’s never good because it leads to me getting some junk food(cookies from Fresh Market) or something to fulfill the hunger. Overall, 2nd best pita place in Boca after Maoz in Town Center. I don’t like the no gloves or the fact my food was frozen. I want fresh food and cleanliness, especially when I“m standing right there watching you make my food.

Just bought a gyro for me and three chicken pitas for the crew here at Massive Impressions Online Marketing.(When Daddy wants a slice of pizza he has to buy two pies). Freaking awesome! I can’t believe I never ordered from here before. I’ll come back all the time now. Great value.

Yes, its a hole in the wall place that is seldom open at the«right» time. I talked to the wonderful owners, who are from France, about their timing and they claimed to keep the place open till 8 on «most days». LOL. If they didn’t offer some of the best tasting middle-eastern food, I would not bother about how long, late, or wide is the place open. For me, they are one of the hidden gems in Boca. Literally hidden because its on the small little lane behind Dixie on top of that unless you stop that plaza you may miss it. Since it behind 7-Eleven sandwiched between a local pub and a small Mexican Restaurant. Whooof. They have sizable menu and offer most of Greek/Mediterranean food like Shawrma, Gyros, and of course the Falafels. Also, there are the burgers. I have tried their Veggie Burger and it was decent. The have a couple of tables outside and is primarily a take-out place. The grill, fryers, veggies are all out there. If nothing better to see, you can watch your food being made right in front of you. My favorite item, hands down is their Falafel Sandwich and Chicken Gyro. Each time I have been there, he makes the Falafel fresh. Never have they been over or under fried. The veggies are fresh and their Tzatziki and Hummus just adds to the flavor. I just hoped they made their Pita’s in-house rather than the ones we get in publix. That’s probably the only con and takes out some authenticity. This is were Pita Loco is one notch ahead. Apart from that, the taste is amazing, The Falafel balls have great taste too. Price is good, about $ 6.50 bucks a Falafel. If that is not cheap I don’t know that is! Their Veggie Wrap with Feta cheese is just as tasty. Leaves you wanting more. Ditto for Chicken Gyros. Amazing taste. I still have to try some of the other items but it is one of those place where you feel that you can try other items at other places, but if you don’t eat their falafel or gyro this visit may be incomplete. Overall, its an amazing little place to walk-in-walk-out. No Fuss. Owners are sweet and friendly. Food is fantastic. First find them, and then find them open — you are in for a treat!

Great place for takeout Greek/Mediterranean food. Service is always really pleasant and you can specify an order however you like, which is great for me since I have food allergies. The gyro meat is the best I’ve ever had, that is reason enough to be a regular customer. Fresh salad ingredients with tasty meat is a perfect meal in my book. My husband loves the traditional gyro with tzatziki and feta. The plaza where it’s located is pretty small and there’s a sketchy 7-Eleven and the rare laundry mat in Boca. It’s not an attractive location but service is quick so you can be in and out in a flash.

So stoked to see that this place is still open! I used to order out from here all the time but moved away and feared it would be closed by now considering it’s location the sketchy 7 – 11 shopping center… using center very loosely. You get all types of interesting people walking around this place and no frills is definitely the phrase to describe Pita Principle. However, never judge a book by it’s cover because you would swear this place would be disgusting given it’s appearance. Thats what I thought at least. And then I went to heaven without even dying. Why you ask? Their gyro… topped with feta cheese. Creamy, dreamy tzatziki plus feta makes my heart go pitter patter. They aren’t shy with the meat, tzatziki or feta either and some other reviewers have complained about the price but give me a pita packed with that much and I will gladly hand them over my last dollars just to taste it again. You had me at gyro Pita Principle, you had me at gyro…

Love this place. Stop in every time I’m in Boca. Sometimes I’ll even make an extra special trip. Every person that I have brought there loved the food. I have never had anything bad on their menu, although I’m partial to the beef stirfry. This place got me through college and is now seeing me through my 20s. If you ever get a chance eat here!

First timer. Passed by this plaza hundreds of times but never stopped. Glad I did. The chicken gyro was terrific. Did not need a microscope to find the meat. Definitely will no longer pass by.

I tried to order a delivery from this place and the woman told me that I tipped the guy a dollar last time and that I was too far away(this was my first order for delivery and my office is literally a 10 minute drive away) I have been to the place many times and do enjoy the food but the irrationality of the psychotic bitch who answers the phone is enough to make me NEVERORDERFROMTHISPLACEAGAIN.

A hole in the wall in Boca Raton!!! The gyro was very good! It’s definitely not as cheap as previous reviews make it sound because you have to consider the size of the gyro. I could probably eat 3 of them on a good night and they’re about $ 6 each, with no sides. However, I came here for my first time last week and got a gyro and a side of cheese fries(about $ 4). It really bothers me when places melt regular cheddar cheese on top of fries and call it cheese fries. But anyways, next time I’ll just get 2 gyros instead(or three). I shouldn’t be ordering cheese fries at a Greek place, anyways! Anywhere I go where the owner makes small talk with you while you watch him make your food is a place at which I will become a regular!
